This review is actually related to their return process, which has received some scrutiny in the reviews. I won't say it was perfect, but in the end I do believe they did the right thing and they were fair. Returns are never easy, so that's why I'm giving a 5 star, as it didn't take a ton of time and was handled professionally and with That means a lot when dealing with products such as flooring and other remodeling material that can have things go wrong. I will definitely work with them again the next time I need flooring. read more

After many hours back and forth with the manager, Alex, and threatening to dispute the difference in the charge between the regular tile and bullnose I was able to pay for the 3x24 pieces as though they were the unfinished tile and use them with schluter to avoid further delays with our project. read more

Julia Roberts hands down is the best sales support at Flooring Liquidators. She was so patient throughout our shopping process. She is proactive in following up with us and answer any questions we have. Although we didn't choose to move forward with Flooring Liquidators, Julia's customer service truly is top notch! read more

They offer great, competitive prices. Easy to work with, offers top quality products. Veteran friendly. Located on Miramar closer to the 805. They sold me everything I needed for my floating floor, plus the baseboards. They are offered the baseboard in 16 foot lengths, I think it's convenient to minimize cuts. Instead of 8 foot pieces. I suggest this place to anyone looking to refinish your house floors. read more

Had a great experience recently with Flooring Liquidators (Suppliers) and KMH flooring (Installers). Brenda at flooring liquidators was friendly, extremely responsive and just overall pleasant and patient to work with. I had gotten a couple of quotes for some flooring I liked from other suppliers and flooring liquidators was able to get me the best price. Afterwards, Brenda recommended we contact Kevin at KMH floorers to get an accurate measurement of final materials that we needed. Brenda and flooring liquidators were able to get my order in on time and as expected. We worked with Kevin and KMH flooring for the install, and that was a great experience. Kevin and his team were very friendly, responsive, extremely detail oriented, clearly knew their stuff and gave us suggestions on the best approach for floor install. He was honest and straightforward, gave us an accurate estimate on when they would be able to complete the job. They accommodated any small request we had and the install went extremely smoothly. The final product was great and I highly recommend anyone go with them for any floor install. We'll definitely be going back to them in the future! read more

We had already gone to several tile and carpet places before checkimg out Flooring Liquidators. We showed Brenda, who was so friendly and knowledgable, the tiles and carpet we had chosen at a more expensive place and she is now ordering them all for us at a huge discount from the other stores. Brenda was so helpful and kind answering our questions and giving us advice. Tracey Bissell read more

Best customer service from Alex Gonzalez. I've been in here several times to pick out and match flooring options for my home. Alex remembered my name and my flooring options. He had great suggestions for swaps that were more affordable and always looked for ways to save me money. He was great at explaining the different qualities and has a great eye for design and color coordination. I went to several flooring places on Mira Mesa and some places were so awful that I just walked out. I 100% recommend flooring Liquidators and ask for Alex Gonzalez! read more

Julia approached us to ask if we had any questions when we were just looking around and comparing from other places. Not only were the prices competitive, but with Julia's help, we found what we were looking for and at a lower price than we were expecting to pay! We will be returning to get estimates for cabinets and countertops. Thank you so much! read more

Knowing I had a specific budget for switching out carpeting for hardwood floors on one floor of our home, I went to several flooring stores and was told over and over again that what I wanted couldn't be done for such a budget. I read some good reviews for Flooring Liquidators in San Diego (Miramar location) and am SOOOO thankful for the honest reviews that led me to this place. I was able to get 720 sq. ft of engineered red oak hardwood flooring for $1.59/sq ft and Makayla was so easy, honest, and professional to work with. Furthermore, she connected me with flooring contractor KMH Flooring who was just as fair-priced, easy, honest, and professional to work with. Altogether, I was able to switch to hardwood floors upstairs for just under $4,375. That's $125 UNDER my budget. I've already told two close friends about Flooring Liquidators and KMH Flooring. Everyone really needs to give them a shot when thinking about buying/installing flooring. read more

Watch out for this company. Their online pricing is misleading. On 7/31/19 Flooring Liquidators priced the Innova Georgetown at $2.19 sq ft. Today, August 2, I called to order and they said they wouldn't honor that price. They could sell it to me for $3.65 sqft. I asked them to honor their price and they called their corporate office who said no. A few hours later I went back on their site and it offered me an quote through Text. I sent them the info and they send back a quote of $2.21 as pictured below. I called the number listed and Cassie answered and said she couldn't honor that price. The best she could do was 3.65. I sent her the text they sent with the 2.21 price and asked how that price changed in 5 minutes. She went on to say it was tariffs... in 5 minutes??? I asked to speak to a manager and she said said she was it until her boss got back next Tuesday. I again said I thought it was unethical that twice they offered a much lower price and then when I call to order they raise it. She said that was the only price she could sell it at. She was calm and actually nice about it but said they couldn't honor their own pricing. Don't believe their online pricing read more

This review is for the outstanding customer service of Julia Roberts. Not only did she help me explore my flooring options and choose a product, but she helped me when my phone died and I needed to make several calls to arrange a ride home. She was very kind, patient, and easy to work with. She also followed up with me several days later to see how my purchase had worked out. I ended up choosing a product elsewhere but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return to Flooring Liquidators due to her wonderful customer service and the many samples they have on the floor. read more

The worst place you can buy your flooring from. waste of time and money. I ordered expensive hardwood from them, they didn't mentioned that the wood planks are not all full size. when my order received just %75 of planks was full size and the rest was small pieces. I had to order three more boxes and waste all small part (some thousands dollars) because my project was stairs and small pieces cannot be used for stairs. I also order T-Molding for carpet and hardwood what they sent me was a garbage that cannot be used for carpet. I had to buy 2 more from Home Depot since I didn't want to deal with these unprofessional and rude people any more. read more

TLDR: Solid retailer for materials, IF you do everything goes right. Reasonable pricing & good selection. However, this is a 1 star review because of their return policy. I placed my second order with them for flooring and wall tile, and had paid via credit card over the phone. It had taken a couple weeks for them to receive the flooring tile, in which time I had changed my mind about wanting it. Their policy is strictly no returns or cancellations on tile orders. I still wanted the wall tile, but they would not split the order, provide a discount for the unwanted product, or otherwise. I even asked if I could pay wholesale pricing to LET THEM KEEP the product. The sales associate stated that other customers had dealt with excess tile by selling it on OfferUp. I get it, it's tile, it's fragile, different manufacturers and distributors deal with returns differently. I haven't even picked it up yet. I would gladly eat a 50% restocking fee. I just really don't want to take home and resell more than 250 lb worth of tile. read more

We called to order our materials and were taken care of promptly. Tony was also able to schedule for an estimate to demo/install new LVP for our whole house. Kevin and everyone at KMH Floors were so knowledgeable, quick, and were very understanding about the logistics as we were not going to be moving out for the install. A job that was quoted for two weeks was finished in just 5 days! Always showed up on time and got an update at the end of each day. They did excellent work from the beginning, evening out the subfloor before laying the LVP which was never done previously. I am thankful for the custom trim work in our entryway, Kevin was able to match up to our new floor and keep the rounded look we like. Anyway, our floors look great and we are happy to work with KMH and FL for future projects as well as highly recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring! read more

I visited this store's Miramar Rd location looking for flooring for my home. I was with my husband and small child. While my husband was entertaining our little one, I was asking a sales associate about various options and telling him about my home and what I'm looking for. The sales guy helping me obviously snapped a photo of me on his cell phone - I heard the iPhone camera shutter noise go off - angling his phone so that I was in the shot - and then his phone was blowing up with text messages/notifications. It was very obvious that I was made the butt of some kind of inappropriate joke between this guy and his online pals. It was the worst experience I've ever had shopping anywhere in my entire life. I will never set foot in this store and advise anyone to avoid. read more

The salesperson was so nice, and unlike other places, did not try to pressure me to make a purchase. He was just there, ready to answer any questions I had, and very accommodating and helpful. Flooring Liquidators has the best customer service, prices and quality. From our first visit of picking out flooring samples, selecting our floors (both vinyl planks and carpeting), picking it up, and needing to return some excess boxes, we have had a great experience. Tim especially, has always been very pleasant and helpful. Our vinyl plank installer has had issues with installing these floors in the past, but he said the Tough Lock floors that we bought were very easy to install. They look beautiful in our home and we are very pleased. read more

After almost 3 years of flawless performance, we noticed a small, 9-inch section of the Coretec vinyl plank flooring that we had purchased from Flooring Liquidators in 2018 had contracted in one of the bathrooms so that it was no longer completely covered by the baseboard. We contacted KMH Flooring owner, Kevin Hollingsworth, who's company had done the original installation, and he came out and amazingly fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes without removing the baseboard! We are happy with both the material and installation, and highly recommend both Flooring Liquidators and KMH Flooring! read more

Awesome service, thank you Brenda and Alex, great flooring options, good prices, very pleased with the serivce and recommendations.

SO happy that we found this place. Purchasing a fixer-upper we have visited dozens of flooring companies in search of quality laminate and they all pale in comparison to flooring liquidators. They don't try to up-sell you and all their merchandise is high quality at a fair price. Tim provided some of the best customer service we have ever encountered. He helped us pick out the perfect laminate, I just described roughly what I was looking for and he directed us to exactly what I had hoped to find. He was very professional, answered all of our questions and had extensive knowledge about their products. We felt comfortable and confident giving flooring liquidators our business. It was a smooth process from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with our experience. (We chose Old Mill in Country Maple...it's just gorgeous!) Large store with so many selections it really is THE store for all your flooring needs. We recommend them to anyone who is in the market for flooring. Thank you Tim and flooring liquidators, we are in love with our new floors! read more

I have a great experience purchasing my office flooring from Tim, the branch manager at the Miramar shop. Both Tim and Alex were really really helpful, very professional. The first flooring I got didn't work out with the color skeme we wanted to have, so I went back to the store and they exchanged it for no fee whatsoever. Overall pricing was the best pricing I was able to get and that's after doing a very Broad comparison between all the stores in the area. Great experience and highly recommend read more

Shopped around at 4 different stores and several online retailers before going with Flooring Liquidators for our final vinyl plank purchase. They had the best prices for the quality of product, hands down. Alex was super helpful. He helped the first time we came in just to look, then the second time to make the purchase. My husband and I just bought our first home, so we were pretty ignorant about flooring and on a budget. Alex answered all of my questions (and there were a lot). He didn't stick around and pressure us into anything we didn't want. He explained the product, then gave us our space to explore. When we were ready, he put together pricing and explained the added materials we would need (stair nose and underlayment). He even put up with me asking all my questions on the phone when my husband went in to purchase! Overall, it was a great first time home purchase buying experience. Thank you, Alex! read more
