Linda at Mármol was so wonderful to work with! Professional, kind, attentive and they had exactly what I needed. Linda made the experience easy and took the time to answer all my questions and help educate me. I would highly recommend stopping by -- their selection of stone is incredible and are delightful! read more

Linda was the absolute BEST!! She assisted us with the counter tops for our new kitchen and picked out an amazing tile for the back of our island!! She even came to our home, in the middle of construction, so she could offer suggestions that would work in our space!! read more

Excellent customer sevice! I was searching for the perfect slab of Taj Mahal quartzite for my kitchen island. I had already visited a couple of other slab yards in the area. I called first to find out about their inventory, and Sandra texted me photos of the slabs she had in stock. I found one that worked perfectly for my project. I also used the fabricator she recommended, and he was great to work with, too. Overall, a great experience and will return to Marmol for my next project. read more

After looking at a total of 8 places for Quartzite slabs for my kitchen remodel I finally found what I was looking for at Marmol Export. As soon as I walked in Linda Sais was an absolute star, she took the time to understand what I was looking for and showed me everything they had within the size and color I was looking for. Linda was by far the most pleasurable to deal with out of all the places I visited, very friendly and very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Marmol Export for your slab needs. Thanks Linda! read more

While we were in Europe we saw a beautiful porcelain tile, Dual White, which was made in Spain. It was exactly the tile we were looking for in our Northern CA home bathroom remodel. We learned this tile was only available through Marmol Exports US in San Diego. We contacted Sandra Niz at Marmol about the tile, and she was tremendously helpful throughout the process, from sending large sample pieces to expediting the purchase and shipping of the tiles. The tile looks amazing in our bathroom. The whole process went seamlessly and it was a pleasure to work with Sandra and Marmol Exports. We highly recommend them without any reservations! read more

We purchased 9 pieces of Marron Imperial Polished Marble 12x24 pieces (twice more that we needed) The tile setter was cutting the 12x24 into 4" strips for a border, the marble literally crumble as he was cutting it, we needed 4 pieces we ended up using 8 pieces to get the ones that it didn't disintegrated. we placed all the crumbled pieced in a box and returned it, We spoke to Sandra of the situation, She informed us that we can't return the bad marble, She also informed us she can't give us a refund or credit. Sandra was the one we purchased the product from a couple of weeks ago. I can understand now and then you get a bad piece but 4 out of 9? Not happy with the customer service, We just stared a big project and in need for a large amount of tile, We won't be going back to Marmol Export neither will the tile setter. So disappointing. For $87.00 credit or refund to lose thousands of dollars worth of tile we need for our next project just doesn't make much business sense to me, Maybe they don't need the business. read more

After going to 20+ stone yards in search of slabs for my remodel, I purchased some at Marmol. They have a very large selection of some beautiful pieces. I found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. I worked with sales representative, Linda Sais, who was excellent! Her enthusiasm is contagious and inspiring, believe me, I needed a shot of her inspiration at this point in my search. I was well taken care of by Linda. Side note, Marmol Export USA is a bit of a challenge to find. They are set in the far back of a commercial shopping strip off of Miramar Road. My GPS said they are located on Keenan Street. I passed Keenan Street twice, never saw a street sign. It looks more like a driveway into the commercial shopping strip vs a actual street. It may be hard to find, but it's well worth the effort! read more

Linda Sais made my day! Nor sure what tile was going to work for us, I showed Linda a picture of our formal dining area and free form furniture. Linda took me straight to a perfect travertine match for our decor. She was awesome. Thank you! Roger Bush (From San Diego, NOT Chicago!) :-) read more

Marmol Export has a wide selection of granite slabs. Their showroom is beautiful and their slab yard is clean. Great customer service from Jose. He was honest, patient, detailed, and concise. He took specific measurements to ensure my kitchen and bathroom counter-tops would all fit in the amount of slabs I needed. Further, taking in consideration edge profiling as well. I noticed some people at other businesses are not skilled at measuring. i.e. Amazon Stone. The lady here wanted me to do all the leg work, whereas, Jose, took the time to measure so I left with enough material. If you plan on coming here, go see Jose. read more

Juparana Exotica? Oh yeah... "What's that" you're wondering? Only my favorite granite at Marmol Export. Seriously though, looking at huge slabs of granite at places like Marmol Export is pretty awesome. At first you think all the granite looks amazing and then suddenly you become really picky. ("I must have a granite that isn't too light or dark, doesn't have too small a pattern, and tells a story.") I sound insane. Marmol Export is all indoors (unlike Amazon Stones) and has a showroom with pretty trim pieces so you envision the kitchen or entry tile of your dreams. The big slabs of granite are in back. There's a bigger selection here than at Prefab Granite but the prices are substantially higher. The sales people are are around whenever you need them without being obtrusive. read more

The Marmol selection of stones and quartz materials is vast and amazing! Juan Carlos was extremely helpful and friendly. He was responsive even via texts on Sunday and the holiday. I ended up buying beautiful quartz when I thought I could only afford a sale price granite at Home Depot. Juan Carlos also can provide referrals for the best fabricators in the city. Thank you to Juan Carlos for my new kitchen countertops! read more

My great appreciation to Frank at Marmol Export, San Diego. Frank immediately replied to my e-mailed request for stock availability of a specific limestone. I was thrilled to find he had enough stock. It was perfectly suited for our exterior project. Frank offered premier customer service throughout our communications and was instrumental in helping me find my ideal limestone product at a great price. His high level of client care superbly matched the high quality of Marmol stone products. I highly recommend the product and customer experience at Marmol Export, San Diego. read more

I had a great experience with Marmol. They have a really nice selection of materials. Frank, the manager, immediately helped me. He spent hours talking things over and showing me different slabs. I purchased four marble slabs in the end and can't wait till they are installed. I highly recommend them for both service and selection. read more

Don't bother, why? Because they can't be bothered to help you! Contractor recommended this place for its large selection. Wouldn't know, as both times (yes, twice) I went onsite to look at samples no one offered to assist me, and the "receptionist" was gone. Did I mention there was NO ONE ELSE IN THE STORE the 2nd time? Read Yelp reviews expo facto, and agree, their customer service is abysmal. Two staff literally walked around me on their way to lunch at 1:15PM, rather than extended basic courtesy. Another staff saw what is going on, and went to hide in his office. Hello? Sexist much? Why am I chasing you? I am a cash paying customer, and potential repeat business. Left in disgust, and advised contractor of experiences. How lucky the owner can afford to hire staff with such hideous customer service skills. read more

After looking for countertops and full backsplash material from LA to Orange County to San Diego I found the marble and quartz materials that complimented each other beautifully at Marmol. Juan Carlos took care of me with extraordinary customer service. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as I took many visits to the indoor showroom. As I was looking for a unique design in the marble cut, we were unsure of the number of slabs until the cutter laid out the pattern. Juan Carlos saved an extra slab of the marble for me--one that I eventually did not need. This is something that would not have been offered elsewhere. He really wanted to be sure I was happy with the end product. If you want an incredible selection, go to Marmol. If you want amazing customer service, ask for Juan Carlos. read more

After looking at numerous slab yards, I finally found Marmol Exports and had the opportunity to work with Juan Carlos. They had a wonderful selection of beautiful stone slabs and I found 20 perfect slabs for our new home construction. The service I received from Juan Carlos was above and beyond what I would have expected. I had some very specific needs for several fireplaces, bathrooms and a kitchen, and Juan Carlos worked tirelessly to find me exactly what I was looking for. I wouldn't go anywhere else! This review is long overdue. We purchased white granite for our kitchen countertops from Marmol in December 2016 for a kitchen remodel. JuanCarlos was very gracious and helpful with our purchase. We had originally purchased granite from another location that didn't work out, so we had one day to go out and find replacement granite. We ended up at Marmol Export and they had quite a few choices. We found a granite that we loved even more than the original! Thank you JuanCarlos for your help! Everyone who visits is always amazed at how beautiful white granite looks in a kitchen! read more

I had such a positive experience with the receptionist at Marmol Export yesterday. Marmol didn't have what I was looking for (a small marble remnant) but the receptionist was super helpful and knowledgeable and gave me a list of places (which she wrote out without my asking, on a Post-It note), that might have what I was looking for. This interaction left me with a very favorable impression of this business - thank you! read more

The previous poster must've worked with Eduardo R @ Marmol in San Diego. We pre-paid for the slab on a Sat and Eduardo said the slab would be delivered to Anaheim for pick up on Tuesday. Needless to say, it's now Thursday and everyday Eduardo has told me (1) the slab will go to Anaheim tomorrow and (2) he will call me with to confirm. He's kept neither promise. When I called today to see if the slab was going to be delivered today, he transferred me to his assistant for her to tell me that it did not go on the truck today. I asked for a full refund and the assistant told me that they will ensure it is delivered to Anaheim tomorrow. Every day, I have to tell my fabricator to delay the job which is really frustrating for them as well. Eduardo R and Marmol San Diego have been very unprofessional and dishonest in this purchase. I regret giving them my business as they do not respect their clients or keep their word. Oh and when I called the Anaheim location on Tuesday, they told me that the San Diego location didn't send the truck because there were not enough orders to fill the truck. Eduardo told me the same day that the truck had broken down and that's why it was not sent to Anaheim. So that's an indication of how honest the San Diego location is. If you need a honest sales person, go to Anaheim or go to another company in San Diego. I've been a customer of the Anaheim location for over a year and purchased stone for two houses through them and the service was always EXCELLENT which is why I went all the way to San Diego to the other store. From now on I will only deal with the Anaheim location- more professional. read more

we came here to purchase over 10 slabs, but 4 slabs were backordered. We didn't have a problem with the slabs that were onsite, but once the backordered slabs arrived and we were called back to approve the slabs we were told the price of to slabs increased over 40% per sqft!!! Sounds like a bait and switch to me. We wasted over a month waiting for the backordered slabs which could have easily been acquired from another vendor. I would gladly pay more else where for better and more honest service. AVOID this place, they are NOT HONEST read more

After pricing split-face travertine at many local stores, I found that Marmol had the best pricing AND most friendly and informative customer service. I ended up buying other materials here as well and will always head back to Marmol in the future. Good products, great staff. read more

Besides the exquisite selection of stones, they provide excellent service and very competitive prices. We bought the stone for 2 kitchens from them and Frank helped us thru the process of fabricating too, because we needed to export it to French Polynesia. Everything went smoothly and he, actually, went over the top to help, so we got what we wanted. I REALLY don't know what other clients are talking about when they say they got bad service.. it has been exactly the contrary for me... I recommend them to everyone, without a doubt. read more

I would like to take this opportunity to thank, sales rep, Tom Castillo for taking the time to handle such a small request. I was short a couple of tiles for our job and found that Marmol was the only company in San Diego who would be able to fill in these very few pieces. Eventhough the request was small, Tom filled the request with the same professionalism and customer care as if it were a large order. Not only are the displays and selection spectacular at Marmol,, but the customer service is courteous, professional and accommodating. Thank you again. read more

Good selection, but don't expect service after the sale. I bought granite slabs and a travertine stone kitchen sink from Marmol. The salesman said that they would seal the travertine when the sink arrived from being fabricated in Mexico. My contractor installed the sink. When I started using it, I found that water seeped right through the stone in one place, dripping into the wood cabinet below. I called the salesman and he said No, we never seal the stone. So I went over to Marmol and paid $65 for a sealer. I applied it once, I applied it twice, I applied it a third time, and while the seepage was reduced considerably, some water still seeped through. This is when my dissatisfaction grew. I contacted the salesman (by email) and told him that the sealer I bought was not adequate for the problem. A week passed and I didn't receive a reply, so I emailed him again. He ignored me. So I emailed and threatened further action. Then he phoned and asked me to email photos of the problem, which I did. Another full week passed without a response from him. So I contacted him again. He asked which day would be good for him to come by and see the problem for himself. I wrote that Fridays are good and told him I could be flexible with the time to suit his convenience. Another week has passed and I haven't heard from him. Sure, everybody likes to close a sale, but once Marmol gets your money, they'd rather never hear from you again. read more

My sister and I went up and down Miramar looking for a slab for her bathroom. We went to Marmol last - and found quite a few slabs (limestones) that are the perfect color/pattern that we didn't see elsewhere. Great selections, and a nice showroom. Why the one star? After selecting a few that we'd like to price out, we went to the front desk, who paged a sales person. We got the worst sales person ever! He lazily sauntered into the entry, hardly said a word to us as I explained what we needed. He followed us to the slab yard, and we pointed out the first limestone. He said "I'll be right back". Left, and came back with a list in hand. Told us the price per square foot. We then moved to the next slab, and asked again. We priced out 4 slabs - and each time he followed far behind - not saying a word except the square foot price. On the last slab, he actually left us, went to the other side of the warehouse, and start rummaging around and picked up a sign to tack on a crate - while I was calling him for help (he just moved his head slightly to acknowledge my calling). After this slab, he plainly disappeared. Clearly not interested in selling anything - or maybe not even interested in working as a sales person. I could have been a better sales person, and I consider myself not the "sales-y type". At least, I would've shown 1000x more interest in my customers. We decided to get one slab, so we had to go back to the front desk and ask for him (unfortunately... We really should've asked for another sales person). We told the front desk that we didn't know who he was, because he never introduced himself to us. So at last he was paged, and again sauntered lazily in. We told him we wanted to purchase a slab, and he just started walking to an office - didn't invite us to follow, or really - didn't say a word. My sister had to ask if she was supposed to follow, or what. She started doing the paperwork, and he left the office "to do (or to get) the paperwork" - but I saw him at the front entry, talking to the receptionist, then just staring out the door. For a while... While my sister was sitting there in his office, waiting to sign the paperwork. Needless to say - not sure why he's even working as a sales person, he definitely has no skills: sales or interpersonal. If we ever need to get something from Marmol again, we will make sure to ask for someone else. read more

Wife and I stopped by Marmol Export yesterday for a single piece of slate for a tabletop. This was a very, very small purchase for a stone and tile business. Tom Castillo took care of us as if we were redoing the entire home. He was polite, gave us his full attention, and treated us as if we were important to him. His terrific customer service for our tiny project will make Marmol Export our first stop for the future when we decide our kitchen and baths need a real makeover. Given how little we spent there yesterday, this positive review is the least we could do for them. Great job, Tom. read more

I purchased 1550 ft of travertine from Tom . The color was really good, lighter than what other shops had. I went to their warehouse in Anaheim and selected the material myself. Never coming back here again! And I advise anyone reading this review to do the same. I was remodeling my house and I went to Marmol Export for tiles; at the time of purchase Jill and Sandra treated me like a king, (like all sellers do) at the time of purchase, I asked if the tiles could be returned if any were left over after I was done remodeling, and I was told "Yes but there will be a restocking fee." I completely understand that, many different types of stores have a restocking fee. So of course, I finished remodeling and was left with tiles! I went to Marmol Export today, expecting to return the left over tile and receive the difference in payment back. BUT NO, THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED. I was told that I can't return the extra tile because it was a special order, and that there was nothing they can do. After explaining the situation, I was told to leave. What kind of customer service is that? Why would the main employees there reassure me of the return policy and completely change it when a return needs to be made? Never coming back again. read more
