They didn't put the tile underneath the dishwasher and if you remove the kick plate you can clearly see they never even cleaned up underneath. Even though they had measurements of our over, there is an inch gap on one side between the countertop and the oven. Biggest issue is the countertops that we purchased through them. After 6 months, area around the kitchen sink area. We have been very careful about wiping down the area but yellowish water stains are definitely there.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after years of frustration with Prefab Granite Depot, I feel…read morecompelled to share my experience. I hired them to install a waterfall-style counter back in June 2021. Barely a year later, the waterfall cracked for no clear reason. They came out again in July 2022 to repair it, but the job was subpar. I noticed that between the waterfall backing and the side of the cabinet. It wasn't flush at all. Which I'm assuming that it allowed the water fall to slide inward more than 90 degrees, thus putting strain at the joint. But I am not a professional installer. It took them until August 22, 2022, to actually address this crack and I was assured the issue wouldn't happen again, however nothing was done to fill the gap with sub board to prevent inward movement of the granite. Unfortunately, it did again crack. A third crack appeared on April 22, 2023. I reached out multiple times via email and phone, only to be completely ignored. No callbacks, no emails, nothing from their receptionist or customer service team. Then, in May 2025 -- the worst-case scenario happened -- the waterfall slab literally fell off the counter. It nearly injured my child, grazing his arm as it collapsed. This wasn't just poor workmanship; it was dangerous. I've given them multiple chances over the years to make this right, but the lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone if this is still their current practice and to avoid at all costs.

After completion I realized the cabinet face frames were not covered in any laminate material. They were left bare leaving the wood exposed and prone to damage. When I finally got in contact with Lynn (first I messaged Tom and I believe Glen(?) with no response) she stated that face frames are considered a part of the interior cabinet which is not included in their refacing process and that the refacing only includes exterior surfaces. My question is, If this was not included in the process, then why remove the old face frame material, only to leave the wood bare. If refacing the frame was not included, then don't remove what is currently there, especially if the cabinets are being refaced the same color. Furthermore, the old face frames on those particular cabinets were still in good condition. This makes no sense to me and I simply cannot recommend this company with such lack of morality and care.

They are a nice family business, and they have seamless coordination between the designer, cabinet installer, and stone installer. You won't run into a situation where gaps are left between subcontractors. 2. There were no hidden fees or unreasonable change orders. The final price was exactly what was initially quoted. 3. We chose Dekton for the countertop, which is fabulous but also known to be harder to fabricate and install. Our countertop was so masterfully completed; the grain patterns all matched up and fit together perfectly. 4. Marlene, the cabinet designer, has vast knowledge of products on the market, which gives her the capability to create ideas for non-standard options. 5. Carlos and the cabinet installers, were so multi talented, they did custom carpentry work per customer's wish, and also electrical connections and drywall finish, all with good quality. 6. Celia, the schedule controller had clear communication for the timeline, no over promise, all realistic, no back and forth changes, which makes it easy for the customers to plan their schedule around the construction. First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! I selected a challenging pattern (grid) and was glad they I was working with this store because you can tell they are used to more challenging jobs and have a commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Their installer was great and all in all I am so thrilled with how the project turned out. They also stock all kinds of wood and laminate and vinyl! He did just that. He even delivered a sample to my home so we could compare to the sample I had picked up elsewhere... and Floor Store and Design price was lower! What surprised me about working with Josh and Door Store and Design? I thought Josh was a salesman.. He was much more than that. He was hands on in working out details of installation. One example: I found a baseboard I liked at another place, and Josh was able to order that for me at same price as offerings at his store. He also made a personal visit at end of work to check details before I made the final payment. I also had new doors installed, and Josh coordinated work with the door contractor for smoothest completion of floors, doors and baseboards installation. It was important to me to work with a full service floor store to ensure best results. The installation team Josh sent was professional, efficient, and did a great job! Floor installer Jonathon and team were great ... always showing up on time, cleaning as they went, and were friendly and easy to have around. Most important.. they were perfectionists in their work. I learned that Jonathon had learned the trade from his father and is now working with/training his brothers. Josh's installers obviously take great pride in their work and Josh also takes great pride in managing Floor Store and Decor-Point Loma.

I reached these people from an ad on Facebook (which should've been my first clue) and was…read moresurprised they were willing to set up an appointment same day. They took my information (just name/address /phone) and said they would be here at 6:30p. They then sent a video using my name, date, and time on a white board (to show it was real, I guess? That made me highly suspicious of deep fakes, tho) to confirm my appt and let me know some details before they showed up. One of the details was the price. The lowest price mentioned was $12,000. Not to remodel the entire bathroom, but ONLY to replace the tub/surround. Also, the material they use is BP-Cor2, a composite polymer that contains 85% ABS plastic and 15% Acrylic. Google says this is actually a pretty safe, non-toxic material (so that's good), but the adhesive fumes are another story and it takes 24-48 hours for all that to be done. That sounded exorbitant. They do offer a lifetime warranty, but I may be selling my place within the year, so that really wasn't a factor in my decision. So I called to cancel, was put on hold, then hung up on twice. Not sure what that was about, so I texted back to the number that sent me the link and said to cancel my appointment, then I texted stop to unsubscribe. Got a call back almost immediately after that from the guy I originally talked to, who tried to change my mind. I would say it was a medium sell - not hard, but definitely he tried a few tactics before giving up. When he finally realized I was not going to relent, he said he canceled everything, which was great. About a week or two later, I received a call from them trying to sell me their service again. I pointed out that I had unsubscribed from everything and was not going to follow through with the appointment. They called yet again another week later, trying to sell me the same crap. At this point, there is no way they could've convinced me to change my mind. I do not work with people who do not listen when you cancel something. Beware of giving them your information.

We have been regular customers at Marmol Export in San Diego, usually buying natural stone for our own projects. This time we ordered Limestone tiles from Marmol, had it installed, and ran into problems with the look of the tiles. Some tiles looked as it they had not been completely polished. What could have turned into a very bad experience, instead turned into one of the best. When a problem was identified with the tile they had sold, Frank and Sandra at Marmol were willing to step up to get it fixed at their expense, to make sure we remained happy customers. Marmol recommended Serrano Family Flooring & Design, Inc. for installation and they too did a good job. Angel Serrano and his crew were punctual, and completed the job in a timely manner. When we contacted Angel to ask about the white deposit and dullness of a large number of the tiles (every 3 or 4 tiles had an edge or corner that was rough and white), he was willing, together with Sandra and Frank from Marmol, to come take a look to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. It was decided there was no installation issue (thank you Angel!), but instead that the tile had to be re-polished. Sandra and Frank recommended Stone Masters Inc., and Juan and his team came out a couple of weeks later, did a full assessment of what needed to be done, and within a few hours had our tile looking as it should. That crew paid a lot of attention to detail, making sure the sheen matched our existing tile, and working cleanly and efficiently. All in all, this was an easy fix to what could have been a very frustrating purchase. Instead everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we ended up with the product we wanted, at no extra charge to us. We are very happy customers at the Marmol store and we definitely will have Marmol, Angel Serrano, and Juan at Stone Masters Inc, in mind for our next project. read more

This is why she's the first person you see when you come into the showroom. Yan helped us navigate the different types of countertops and worked within our budget. We were new to working without a project manager and she helped us understand countertops and basic design. Installation went just ok. Juan was late all the time. However, he was very reasonable when we pointed out some changes that needed to be made. If anything needed to be fixed, he fixed it. We did not like that they cut on the site (our house) and dust blew everywhere. The installation took more days than what we were told. Honestly, I think they're slammed with installing 2 jobs a day. The major dings to this review are cutting quartz (silica) on site and working with Liz Flores while Yan was out of the office. That experience was horrible. If anything, that was our one regret. I would've pushed the job out until Yan returned to the office. The rolling eyes, the cold personality, the texting and passing the phone while the customer is talking to the salesperson, it was all rude and unprofessional. I would emphasize and double check that they fabricate and make the cuts at the shop. They didn't know what to say when I said that the crew cut the quartz on site. Lesson learned. Work with a PM.

If I could give a zero for this review, I would. This is the worst experience that I have ever had…read morewith a vendor. We worked with Jerry. He kept telling us that he would give us a good price. He did the exact opposite. He jacked up the prices unbelievably and when we did need to return something, he made it impossible to return it saying that there was a 35% restocking fee and that we would need to pay for shipping to send it back. The item was a linear drain for the shower and he sold it to us for $1,000. I looked up the prices when we decided that it wouldn't work and most vendors sold the same linear drain for half the price. He never told us how difficult it is to work with glass tiles and how easily they shatter and crack. He never told us that we shouldn't use glass tiles in small spaces. We should have received a discount because we were working with a builder. We could have received a different discount because my husband is a veteran. We might have even been eligible for a discount because we are senior citizens. He kept telling us that time was of the essence because prices were going up every day. At least we didn't fall under that pressure to buy quickly. I live in a highrise of 385 units. Many of my friends and acquaintances were interested in hearing about our bathroom renovation. When we tell the stories about what we went through for the remodel they now know from whom they should not buy any supplies.

She told me to ask for Brittany and I did. Brittany was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable By the way That place has such a unique collection. When you step in you think " ah.. can I afford this ? " they have styles that suites every budget. without sacrificing the quality. She listened to what we wanted, we told her what our budget is and showed her the bathroom layout with measurements. She was able to suggest what tiles would go where and how. We chose from what she offered based on some photos to she showed us as well to have a better idea on how it would look. Final results are AMAZING we love it and we get so many compliments. We highly recommend Unique Stone Imports and Brittany.
