The customer service from Amazon Stone employees was unbelievable. The guys in the warehouse were patient and eager to please by showing me many different slabs. They were helpful and answered all my questions.I have to say honestly the best customer service around and the selection was amazing! Keep up the good work everyone!! read more

Communication was great. Mystique was friendly and informative. The recommendation of the installers was a great choice as well. The quartz was a great choice for our project and looks fabulous. The behind the scenes choices by Amazon Stone and installers were amazing and I'm sure very thoughtful. read more

I love this place and would recommend it to anyone! I shopped around for two Months and went to so many different places but kept coming back to Amazon stone. Caio (owner) at Amazon Stone is great with color and has a vast knowledge of stone. He is honest, always helpful and takes the time to make sure you have the right color combinations. We have known his family for 15 years and have used him on 2 remodels. You won't go wrong with this business. read more

If you are in the process of upgrading your home, whether it's kitchen, bathroom, floors, anything--don't waste your time going anywhere else. Amazon Stones outshines ANY showroom you will visit. I went to recommended places by our contractor. I went up and down Miramar road and after a few visits, everything looked the same. I settled, and I mean settled, for a subtle veiny quartz. Meh. This is our big kitchen remodel and I wasn't happy I settled but I didn't find anything I really liked OR it wasn't kitchen friendly. My friend recommended Amazon Stones so I took a drive. I was expecting white, veiny quartz again. OH MAH GAWD. The most BEAUTIFUL STONE and ORIGINAL. Brazilian stones all over!! Their label system is great---look at the website and browse before you go and THEN go visit in person. I spoke to Caio. He schooled me on Quartz vs Quartzite, Marble, everything. He showed me Quartzite which we determined would be suitable for my kitchen needs. I picked out a GORGEOUS stone and I am SO EXCITED!!!! It's so beautiful!!! I cannot wait to have it installed. I am SO glad I went and stepped out of every typical showroom. You need to go and look, touch and feel, see it in the light, sunshine, know what you are really doing. Look--home remodels are expensive as it is. They have stone for your budget or not in your budget but it's so beautiful, you're willing to compromise something else. I'll update with a photo once it's installed but I know every penny I spent is going to make me so happy!!! And make me the envy of everyone who got veiny quartz like every house I walk into. Be different. Be original --you'll find it here!! read more

The "Find it yourself" Slab Yard I have a bit of experience shopping for granite. Amazon Stones is a must stop for everyone curious about granite slabs or just wanted to look at their natural beauty without a sales person hounding you. There are no pressure sales people here, it's walk around and check out the slabs. If you like something, write down what you like and go inside. In Summation - Very nice slabs for the average Joe that's looking to upgrade at an affordable price. Tip It's an outside yard, and on a hot sunny day it might be uncomfortable. Bring sunglasses. read more

Awesome place. The owners are great to work with. Prices are very reasonable. Their marble is beyond comparison. I did my entire fire place in matched book ends. The owner referred my to a fantastic fabricator that was the most reasonable. I also bought my bathroom quartz and Dolomite for the kitchen If you are doing a remodel, I can highly recommend the store for great selection of product, price, and service I only wish I needed more stone! read more

Like the last reviewer, I went everywhere in the county (I stopped after I went to about 15 different slab yards from San Diego up to San Marcos!). Amazon Stones on Miramar Road was actually the third place I visited and I wrote down a few granite slabs I liked. I didn't want to make too hasty of a decision, so I kept looking at other slab places. I was doing the slab selection all on my own: no decorator, no designer, no contractor, and no fabricator...I was flying blind! Other than a little web reading, I had NO idea how to go about picking/buying and installing a slab. What I did know is that I didn't want to go to a "counter store" to buy a prefab piece that looked like everyone else's countertop. I wanted my counter to be a work of art....something unique with character and one-of-a-kind beauty...at a reasonable price (my budget wasn't big). I got quotes from the "prefab" stores for regular run-of-the-mill granite but in the end, with my granite slab from Amazon Stones and the cost of the fabrication/install, it ended up being CHEAPER to go the route of an "original" looking countertop/island instead of prefab. I came back to Amazon Stones a week later because they simply had drop-dead beautiful slabs, great prices, and wonderful customer service (Ricardo could not have helped me more with info and his knowledge of the industry). He carefully went over with me the whole slab I liked to look for cracks or other problems (there was only 1 left of this granite slab and it was exactly the minimum size I needed). We went to his office where he handed me a sheet on all the different edges/corners I could choose to have my fabricator cut (who knew there were so many edges other than the standard bullnose!). He then recommended (for my slab and sq. footage needed) what would probably work and pointed out what I wouldn't have enough granite for. He circled a few that he thought I would probably like, based on our discussion. I asked for and Ricardo gave me a few fabricator names he kept on file and after calling a few, I wisely chose Manuel who owns MGH GRANITE WORKZ (619) 754-0340. Manuel did an incredible job with the tricky slab (it was exactly the size needed for my project...not any overage...and he had to make it work). He came to my house and helped me select the right corner (I didn't want bullnose like everyone else, yet didn't want to spend $$$ for an over-the-top edge..I also was very limited on what I could choose as I did not have a lot of left-over granite to use). I decided a beveled edge would be nice and he said he would add a "diamond" cut on the corners (no extra charge) that he thought I would like. Manuel is a genius (see photos): he matched my slab wonderfully in the two places that joined and the diamond cut corners added such a beautiful touch! His work is fast, superb and his prices are much more reasonable than the "store" fabricators. Amazon Stones and MGH Granite Workz made my kitchen extraordinary, so thanks to a terrific team!! read more

I never thought I'd enjoy so much looking at giant slabs of granite. My mom took me here since she's currently remodeling her kitchen and bathrooms. Somehow because the granite sheets are big and uncut (they're probably 7'x9' if I had to guess) they're even more beautiful because you're more likely to see patterns in the natural design. This company is Brazilian owned and they are only open March through October. Apparently Brazilian granite is better than Indian because there is less cracking. All the rock (granite, marble, travertine, slate) is outside (you can see a picture of their set-up on the website). The sales people are friendly but not high pressure. You're able to look at the slabs without talking to sales people. The selection is outstanding here but I've dropped them a star because the prices are so much better (albeit for pre-cut granite) at Prefab Granite Depot down the street. read more

The virtual slab yard is an amazing tool. I found a slab I was interested in but they only had one piece. The owner gave me great pricing and let me keep the slab on hold until I could confirm that it would fit. I went to almost every place in town and the quality of the stone here is the best. I wanted marble but fell in love with this leather finish. Could not be happier with final product. Had to find my own installer but that was not a problem. Do yourself a favor and make sure to hire a professional installer. Thank you for the help with my beautiful kitchen. read more

Amazon Stones - Bianco Romano, leather finish - Building Supplies Near Me - San Diego, California

We purchased 2 slabs from Amazon Stone and the sales process was great. Misty, Kyle and Ricardo are all friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We really wanted a leather finish on our slabs and they sent them out to be changed with a reasonable fee. The leathering of the slabs was completed as they said and they look beautiful. I highly recommend their company and service. read more

Amazing place to get slabs. They have a great selection and unbeatable prices! Very flexible and a joy to work with!

Amazon's stone yard is quite impressive. They even have pictures online to make shopping easier. While their stock is impressive, their customer service was not. I would recommend doing research and educating yourself about fabricators and stone materials before stopping by. As a newbie, I was left with more questions than when I arrived. read more

Needed a bit more of our amazing Lemurian Blue Labradorite Granite (AKA Aphrodite, AKA Bleue Lemur, AKA Blue Lemure, AKA Madagascar Blue Granite, AKA Labradorite Blue Granite, AKA Labradorite Blue Australe Granite, AKA Labradorite River Blue, AKA Labrador Blue Austral, AKA Labradorita Blue Australe ... to name a few!) Ricardo found us a slab with a fissure (a crack) which is great, because we want it for trim work ... and he worked with us to make an unbelievable deal for what became our FOURTH slab of this incredible stone. He even looked around to find us a broken piece to use as a reference sample for tile and cabinets although he was certain to stress that they are NOT in the business of chipping or breaking their slabs -- and I must note it was a very tiny piece! https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiKuo2UprLYAhXH6yYKHcUjAuYQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazonstoneboutique.net%2Fproduct%2Fblue-lemurian%2F&psig=AOvVaw31m38T-DJg1uCPZIyUXh1M&ust=1514742615838864 read more

Very good selection with good prices. I need a remnant piece to build a table top. I went to several places on Miramar and Amazon Stones has the best selections. Ricardo is very honest and helpful. Instead of hard selling stones to me, he advised me at beginning that there're maybe challenges to find fabrication shops to do it since it's a very small job. So instead of having me put down money, he reserved the piece for us for free. I phoned him make the payment only after I found a shop to take the job at a reasonable price. It was 2 minutes before their closing hour. He worked over time and emailed me the receipt right afterwards which was 20 mins after the normal business hours. Now the remnant piece is beautifully sitting in my dining room. Thank you read more

I bought the most breathtaking phenomenal stone from Ricardo, it was just outstanding (as you can see below). Not only was the price substantially less than anywhere in Orange County, the customer service was awesome! This slab yard was the best we went to on Mir Mar Road... And we must have went through all of them! I do Kitchen and Bathroom Design, and was working with my most difficult client ever... My mom! We went to every slab yard for three straight days in a row! What made Amazon different from the rest, was their website and service. They have a virtual showroom, so you can preview the slabs right from home. The woman that was helping us with our slab was really nice and she knew her stuff! She even had the guys move several slabs so we can get a real good look and select the one we wanted. We found just the one we were looking for, and although it took three 8 hour days of shopping, we bought from Amazon. Reasonable prices and they have recommended fabricators too! read more

We were recommended to Amazon Stones by our cabinet guy. No wonder, Randy is a real pro and the selection of granite is superb. We had a hard time deciding because of the all the great choices. Once we settled on a slab, all was taken care of with the ordering, cutting and installation. Antonio and David were professional, polite and prompt. The countertops in our bathrooms never looked better, we feel like we're in a top notch hotel whenever we go in them! You cannot beat the selection and prices. read more

We found what we are looking for here. We only needed one small counter so we were lucky to find what we needed in the remnant collection. Their website is pretty good to see what they have in stock so I recommend starting there. They have a large collection and it seemed like their prices were reasonable. They are simply just suppliers however so you have to find someone else to cut/shape your granite or marble for you. We went with someone that they recommended to us to shape our product. We don't have the final product yet but will update if it doesn't turn out. read more

Amazon Stones has an awesome selection, owners know their product (Ricardo was very knowledgeable), and are happy to walk you through all you need to know about selecting granite and the next steps of the fabrication process. I have been buying slabs from Amazon for 15+ years. I have known Diane longer (when she was at Granix) Every time I start a materials search I end up At Amazon and buy from them. They consistently get top quality slabs and they have the experience to tell you who is good and who is not (if you don"t already know) for fabrication of high end counter tops, stairs and other pieces. I have tried working with other companies (because I am open to new good sources) but others fall down on the job and I regret wasting my time. Diane and Ricardo are the best and if you have a problem with them then it's probably one of your own making. (I have definitely been guilty of that before. lol) Go with them and listen to their guidance. It will be one of the better decisions you will make on your projects. read more

After checking out several other places, this was THE place for us for granite in SD. From the awesome interactive yard where you can see basics about each slab, to their awesome customer service when you actually go to the store. I have purchased granite slabs from them twice now. We remodeled our kitchen about 4 years ago and they had the best price and great customer service. We went in back in March to pick out slabs for our new kitchen and were not sure how many we needed. We picked out and purchased 2 slabs and they agreed to hold the 3rd slab until we were done with our project. We ended up needing the 3rd slab but didn't know for over a month and it was still there. Worked with Ricardo and couldn't ask for better. They recommended a couple of fabricators and after bouncing back and forth with a couple, we went with Valdemar & Sons. Thanks again guys! read more

We purchased our granite at Amazon Stone. We love the granite and there selection was fantastic. However, they recommended Amazonia Granite who is affiliated with their company.
