Without hesitation, the young woman came right out to get my package. Seriously so kind and made my day--it really means a lot to this young mom to have people help with kindness and not disdain. I drove around for a minute due to the last time I was there, they were at a different spot in the shopping center. I was told that they moved 2 years ago, so that shows that I haven't been there for some time. They do change a $3 fee for using your card, so that is something to keep in mind. It didn't bother me, since I actually don't carry cash. I misplaced the green paper that is normally mailed to you, and you don't need it b/c they put up your information with your license.

I've gone to this location for years BUT this…read moretime I go in and they tell me the "computers are down" for my "inspection station" and they didn't know how long it would be. BUT they were unclear that it was THEIR computers that were down not my inspection station. AND THEIR COMPUTER system would be down for 3 months!!! The clerk then told me I could get an inspection in another inspection place. BUT when I went again to this Fry office the next day to verify the information the other clerk then said it was their problem NOT my inspection station!!! BUT this second clerk then told me I could go to the Travis County Assessor's office to obtain my 2027 car sticker and that it was " close by" on McKinney Falls Rd. which in fact was NOT close at all. I went to Fry both days just before their closing time at 3p and the second day I SPECIFICALLY asked if the Tax Assessors office was open later than 3p and the clerk said yes. Well I failed to check (my mistake given one clerk had already told me the wrong info) so I drove all the way to the Tax Assessor's office only to find it also closes at 3:00pm. I will go back yet again tomorrow only to let them know how much trouble and wasted time they caused me by all the WRONG INFO plus I still have to drive back to the Tax Accessor's office to get my sticker. I'm so upset the only thing I could do was write this negative review to warn others. AND Fry does not take phone calls at all.
