Art Guerrero with Art's Mobile Notary was a life-saver today. My elderly and very ill friend has been in St. David's Hospital for 2 weeks and has been very worried about getting his bills paid on time. His wife is the only one who could pay their bills, but her name was not on the checking account he uses. He wanted her to be able to pay the bills, but the bank required that she had to be notarized as his agent/Power of Attorney. The hospital operator told me they have no one on staff who is a notary; however, she gave me Art Guerrero's name and number. We needed immediate help on Easter weekend as a family member was very close to dying in the hospital. We couldn't get a hold of anyone and Art was the only person to answer. It was a Saturday and we called Art at around 9am and by 11:30 (half an hour early I might add) he met us in the hospital room. Our 95 year old friend and family member immediately recognized Art as a student he once had when he was a teacher. Last month, my father was sent to the hospital in Austin. Not long after his arrival, is was very clear he wouldn't make it out, as he was very sick. One concern my dad had was that he hadn't completed his will. He dictated to me what he wanted, and the hospital found Art for us. Although this was an extremely sad moment in my life, Art came in, took care of what we needed to gather witnesses and have Dad's will notarized. I would highly recommend working with Art. There are many notaries stating they are 24 hour availability but I found that not to be the case. However Art was willing to meet me half way to save drive time at 3 o'clock in the morning for a family emergency. Very professional and caring.
