Revisit? Yes, good spot for duplicate keys! Yelp reports Mrs. Keys has closed, but it's just moved from the kiosk with the blue roof to a van in the same Northgate supermarket parking lot. I've come to Mrs. Keys twice for duplicate car keys and the service was fast both times. The keys work perfectly. I felt the pricing was fair. I might have been able to get a bit of a lower price elsewhere, but this place is close to my home, so I don't mind paying for the convenience. It was $175 for a 2012 Honda CRV key with remote. The guy who helped me said he could do a key without remote for $75. I appreciate how he gave me different options. I left the car with him for an hour and the job was done. Very straightforward customer service. Super easy to find the van. Just look for the big MRS KEYS on the side. read more

Great service, friendly and straightforward local keysmith. Used them in the past and called upon them for duplicate house keys. Quick service. 2 keys for $8. Was in and out in less than 4 mins. Just locate their mobile van (hard to miss) in the parking lot near Northgate Gonzalez supermarket. read more

My Toyota. Key Phoebe was about completely dead I called around to several key shops all wanted $45-$200 for repair/ replacement. As I was not at home I wanted a place I could go to . Most only provide Mobil service. I called Mrs Keys ,not only could I go to Northgate Markets lot where Mrs Keys is located ,I was in and out in only minutes & for only $10! read more

Great experience overall with Mrs. Key's. I grew up seeing Mrs. Key's as a blue building with a giant yellow key painted on it. With the establishment of the new Starbucks, La Michoacana, etc., Mrs. Keys is now housed in a large RV-sized white van in the Northgate parking lot. I had five keys to duplicate, including a small key meant for a gate lock, which they may or may not be able to do at big box stores like Home Depot. The key machinist was wicked fast and finished all my keys within five minutes. Cost me $19 for five keys, including that smaller one. Great service! Would definitely use Mrs. Keys again. read more

Extremely disappointed. Used to be "THE" place to get keys made. No longer the case. Over priced, slow service. Negative stars.

My Honda key quit working. I bought a battery on Amazon and watched a You Tube video on installing it. I installed it and it didn't work. I took the key and the old and new battery to Mrs. keys. The guy working there didn't speak English but showed me the battery was no good. After attempts at communication I said "so put in a new battery" he got that wrong and had to redo that twice. And I was charged $10.00. read more

Did a great job. Was able to fix my expensive bike lock. Didn't have to buy a new one as I had extra keys. Great job !!!! Would recommend. They also do good key on duplicating your house keys. read more

Cesar was of amazing help. He was courteous, patient and friendly. Will always go back to Mrs Keys for all of my keys needs. Thank you Cesar and Don Horacio!! read more

Very nice customer service. I brought in a lock from my classic MOPAR that needed to get rekeyed, the current lock didn't match my keys. The man was able to redo my lock to work with my original keys for a very reasonable price. Their little house office was removed, they are in the same place spot but using a mobile workstation with the same great service. Definitely recommend using them. read more

Mrs. Keys - Center console rekeyed to match my original set. Perfect!! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Long Beach, California

They rip you off! We took out key fob and asked them to create a replica because ours was falling apart. The young gentleman said he can make another one just as the one we have. Upon return he gave us a fob without the 3rd button to open the trunk. We asked why would he say a replica if this was not true, he just answered he did not have the fob needed. Thus, we asked for a discount since we're were quoted 200 for a replica fob. He declined the discount and after back and forth he gave us 10 bux off which was nothing. We should have not paid him anything and left. Do not come here! He should have told us before he did not have the correct key fob. Go elsewhere. We eventually bought a reolacement on Amazon for 10bux, now we have a replica-_- read more

Mrs. Keys - Location from Monday through Saturday - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Long Beach, California

Very convenient and close by my house. This is My go to spot for key copies. Price is very fair as well.

well, Long story but I have a 2010 Nissan Murano, and I lost my smart key! my spare key was the original one I used so it was bad off, would not start the car unlock the door unless I used the little key. Very inconvenient. I was shopping on Dec 23rd at Northgate and saw Mrs Keys! I went over and talked to them and within 25 minutes I had a new key for my car programmed and my life is easy again. I had inquired with another locksmith about a key and they did not have any Nissan FOBs so he said he had to order and it was going to be $50 more than Mrs Keys. Service and customer care was excellent, I give them 5 and thank them for helping me on a Holiday weekend amidst my shopping! Amazing Locksmith services!!! read more

Don't use the home service, the guy that shows up is a hustler! Don't let this sucker make a sucker out of you. He says one price to get to your location then quotes high prices that were not disclosed during the initial inquiry. He's a fast talker and is determined to get your $$$ knowing you NEED locksmith services. It's sad that you'd treat customers this way. The best business is repeat and referred business. It comes from satisfied customers. Try providing a price list. Now the mobile location on Cherry and Del Amo is the complete opposite experience. I'd go there but I will never recommend them for home or business service. read more

The service was very fast and they huy was very friendly I will be coming back again and I would highly recommend if you need and new battery for your keys read more

since therer is a Starbucks being built on the site where Mrs. Keys was originally stationed, they are now mobile and occupy that North end of Northgate Market during day. I went to the place last week around 4 pm it wasn't there. I tried calli but got no answer or reply I figured they had moved, so I searched in Google maps while my GPS kept telling me to drive more North... a couple days after, someone called me to tell me they spotted Mrs. Keys in their usual area off of Cherry. Quick n cheap! read more

I locked myself out of my apartment while I was working from home today. I called these guys because they were the closest locksmith to me, they were fast, professional, and on top of their stuff. Their prices are more than reasonable for what they do, and the guy Juan David was awesome, he was chill, professional and fast. They really saved my dumb ass. read more

I would never use them after what I went through with them on 7/9. They were disorganized, rude and were not up front with me regarding appointments. I waited until after the July 4th holidays and called Tuesday, 7/9. They had told me on the previous Friday , possible Wednesday, they needed a 2 hour "heads up" . I called in the morning. They said they would be here at 2 on Tuesday 7/9 They did not show up), then I called at 2:45, then I called again at 3:15 . He said they were busy and he would call me. His words were, well you said you had a lot of time and it will take 2 hours". "I said "can't you atleast tell the customer you are busy or are not coming", he said, "they couldn't do that". I asked if I should go elsewhere?" He said "that's your choice", then he said I'll call you.I didn't say I had a lot of time and they close at 5. 5:00 came and I never received a message or a call. The bottom line is "I do not recommend them !" Terrible customer service, terrible business practices. No one had called back by 12:00 a.m.on 7/10, so I called them. He said "you were going to get someone else" (I honestly think they make up excuses for their lack of book keeping, or memory or organization, I'm not sure , or they do not listen to their customers). I got someone else..... who in their right mind would deal with that disorganization and no follow through. Employees of Mrs. Keys do not send a friendly response or any response and excuse. You couldn't take the time to take care of business when you had the opportunity and you choose not to. Disgusted ! read more

I work for a large senior living facility and get my keys made here all the time. They're quick and affordable.

Pretty bad, just a brokerage even tho they said they weren't. Wanted to charge me $180 for what ended up costing half that.

Keys precisely cut, many options cars n chip keys too, friendly, good availability, priced fair. Can get overwhelmed with multi orders. Go slow! my suggestion but overall Spot On and FAST when not busy;) read more

I thought I needed a replacement car key fob and decided to drop by and support a neighborhood business instead of the Lexus dealership. The owner did a quick test and found the it only needed a battery and only charged $10. I had him test the other and he showed it was low as well. I appreciated his quick service. This place has been at the same location for 51 years. UNFORTUNATELY the landlord has evicted his and the long term screen door shop next door to build a Starbucks next year. He is currently working out of a truck on site. I really pray he is able to find another location soon. read more

Went to get two house keys copied and was pleasantly surprised by the price! I've seen this place several times as I frequent the area and decided to give it a try. The cost per key is 1.75 with tax included. I got a standard door key nothing else. Was done quickly and the person working there was nice. Key worked great once I used. Definitely recommend this place as it's cheaper than any of the key copying machines at the stores for sure! read more

Great place to get keys made in the cheap. I made two stops this weekend searching for Brass Keys and kept getting told "sorry we don't have them". Not the case here. They have them and even use the older style manual key cutting machine. Not those automatic machine the use at the big box stores. I didn't even bother keeping the receipt because I knew they were done right. read more

I wish I could give this place a negative instead of one star. I've been coming here for many years. I've never had an issue, until today. I got my car key replaced on 11/25/22. A few days ago I dropped my key on the ground. Buttons flew off. Which was odd and I just figured it was defected for that to have happened. I went today to let them know that it had broke with one drop so I figured it was a weak key and was already defected. The lady (owners daughter) wasn't nice and said my dog bite my key. Odd she doesn't even know if I have pets. She then said I didn't buy the key from them. Very rudely!! I said I was here two weeks ago. She said Ive never seen you here. You've never been here. Yelling and so angry. Her dad the older man was also being rude and kept accusing me of opening the key. Like why? I was being so calm and kept explaining myself but just couldn't. A man behind me came to my defense and they both attacked him as well. I've never been treated this way. The lady was so heated she was tossing things around inside. It was awful!! They have zero customer service and I hope no one comes here. read more

Never had a problem with any keys copied here. Miss the little kiosk. Cash or card they even program car keys.

Quick Service, and always very helpful. Yes he can be on the phone and change out your key fob battery or even cut a standard key without ever ending the conversation. They have the best prices around. Had issues with my key fob and they were able to Salvage the chip and change out the case at a reasonable price.
