Malek & Fred showing me my old rod bearings.
    Darren S.

MRF Engineering is straight up the best mechanic shop I've been to in my life. No questions. Let's start from the beginning of my experience. When I called Malek from MRF Engineering to setup my appointment for a Rod Bearings service on my E92 M3, Malek sent me a very detailed email about the entire process. How long it's going to take, the cost, what parts and fluids are they using, etc. Made my appointment then went to MRF in the morning and was greeted and welcomed by Malek's father, Fred. He explained to me how everything is going to go down, showed me around the shop, showed me what rod bearings even are, and showed me what an engine looks like after rod bearings failure. I felt like a valued customer the entire time and the shop is extremely clean and organized! Left my car there overnight to pick it up the next day and met Malek. Malek showed me my old rod bearings and explained to me everything about them. Also gave me a run down on the condition of the rest of my car. He then answered all of my questions very patiently and was very detailed about each answer. Overall the entire experience was smooth and vastly exceeded my expectations. I would 100% recommend anyone to bring their beloved M3 to MRF Engineering after my experience here. Thank you Malek and Fred!

What a transformation! The M3 feels much more buttoned down. Everything from shifting to bump compliance to sliding feels more engaged. Listen to Malek and take his suggestions. I doubt anyone on this continent knows the E9X platform better. I would write more but I need to keep driving!

Phenomenal! Malek has replaced the engine in my 2009 M3 in April of 2017. I took it down there from the Bay Area on a trailer and I continue to make the drive out to him for maintenance/upgrades. MRF is California's true leader for M3 rod bearing service with over 270 cars completed successfully. He also installed Bilstein Clubsports, BBS E88, and a bunch of new suspension components on the car. I consider MRF my family. The only place I trust with my cars, hands down. Thank you!

The transmission specialist at the other shop said they needed to take it out to find out what the problem is, and needed to charge a huge diagnostic fee. They called it a tear down inspection, but I had my doubts and brought it to V-Tech for a second opinion. V-Tech found all the issues, explained it to me, and were able to fix it in 1-day. The car definitely had issues, but it turns out it was due to drive belt, timing belt, transmission oil, and air intake hose. We also had a battery causing starter issues, but we knew about that. V-Tech took car of it and charged us a low price! The car is driving great and we're super happy!

I've been taking my Hyundai Tucson to V-Tech Automotive for the past three years, and Adel has…read moreconsistently provided excellent service. Over that time, he's handled oil changes, brake jobs, air and cabin filter replacements, and even some minor electrical repairs. What stands out most is his honesty, knowledge, and attitude. He always takes the time to explain what's needed, never tries to upsell unnecessary work, and genuinely seems to care about doing the job right. When I needed brakes on my Tucson, the parts and labor were significantly less expensive than another shop I had used before, and the quality was actually better. Recently, I purchased a Mercedes-AMG C63, and before buying it, I trusted Adel to give me an honest opinion on whether it was a good car to purchase. That level of trust says a lot. After I bought it, he handled the oil change and brakes for a fraction of what the dealership would have charged. I haven't had any major repairs done there yet, so I can't speak to that personally, but based on my experience over the last three years, I wouldn't hesitate to trust V-Tech Automotive with bigger jobs if they came up. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic who does quality work at fair prices, I highly recommend Adel and V-Tech Automotive.
