I normally don't write negative reviews on Yelp, but Mr. Tire earned it here. Last month I was driving up to Syracuse from the Hudson River Valley in a Hertz rental car to show my wife around the Syracuse campus, where I went to college. As we approached Cortland, an alert went off that one of my tires had low air pressure. After visiting three service stations with inoperable air machines, we finally found one that was operable. Eventually, I got the pressure back to the right level and took off for Syracuse. The following day, when I started to drive the car, the air pressure alert for the same tire came on again, this time with a much lower pressure than the previous day. I was driving by Mr. Tire and understood they were in contract with Hertz to do tire repairs, so I left the car there and was told they could get to it by 2 pm or so. I had to wait about a half hour before anyone showed up in the customer area. After Ubering back to my hotel, I called Mr. Tire at 5 pm, and they hadn't gotten to it yet. I Ubered back there, and they still had not looked at it. After waiting another 45 minutes, they started looking at it. The technician told me he couldn't find a leak, and he put the pressure back to the right level. I checked an hour and a half later, and the tire had already lost 3 psi of pressure. The following day, I called AAA to come out and put the spare on so I could drive it to the Syracuse airport and exchange cars. When the AAA technician came out, it took him two minutes to find the leak - he had simply sprayed water on the tire, and the pinhole leak was apparent. Overall, Mr. Tire wasted an entire day of my two-day stay in Syracuse and couldn't find a leak that a AAA tech found in two minutes. It was the worst service experience ever! The only upside here is they directly billed Hertz for this nonsense instead of me. read more

I should have saved my time and read the reviews before showing up on time. They opened 45 minutes late. Sat inside for 10 before bouncing.

Vary bad bad place!!!!!! Don't do business with them they are scammers they sold me a bad tire and when I took it back they small in my face told me to have to buy another one and I said no then they try getting my car towed and calls me a fagget read more

This man has very nasty customer service I was hung up on twice by this guy very unprofessional. The second time I called back requesting to speak with someone else that I actually liked talking to who helped me before this guy Shannon hung up on me... Had a small air leak in tire, called and they were able to get me in and repair in 30 minutes. Appreciate the quick service. Firestone wanted me to leave my car all day for the repair. Will use Mr. Tire for all my tire needs. read more

The first guy I dealt with was very good. The spanish guy has a terrible attitude. He said something about the dmv, I asked him to explain what he meant He huffed and puffed explained it. Then he said DO YOU GET IT? Due to his nasty attitude I would returning to Mr. Tire to get my car serviced. I'm all for good customer service and the good thing about being a paying customer is that you have the option to choose where you spend your money. read more

I made an appointment a week prior for 1pm on a Saturday. I get to Mr.Tire at 1:01pm. I talk to the guy at the front desk he told me to leave him the keys and leave my rims, tires, lug nuts, and TPMS outside (mind you it has been raining all day long). I told him I would wait outside in my girls car for the service to be done. I didn't trust leaving about 2 grand worth of parts just sitting outside. 30-45mins go by and the younger kid that works here grabs two of my brand new tires and literally tosses them inside. 4 more hours go by without even touching my vehicle and I call the manager who proceeds to tell me it's been busy all day (there was 2 cars in the parking lot when I first arrived). I then sat there for around 5 hours watching 7-8 different vehicles be serviced before mine. I highly recommend no one comes here to have their vehicle worked on unless you like sitting around waiting all damn day for literally nothing to be done on your vehicle. read more

Since the management change, I've had very poor service here. They are condescending in person and abrupt on the phone. The last time we had work done here, the car came back with six lights on the dash that weren't there beforehand, and they won't take responsibility. The prices "magically" change when my boyfriend comes into the office with me, which highlights how wildly dishonest they are. The only reason we've gone more than once is because the show is waking distance from our house, but never again. read more

Erie Boulevard location was my and I guess that's why you should read reviews had New York State inspection needed brakes and wipers made appointment twice yet when I got there they were surprised. customer service is seriously lacking I work with Attorneys Bankers Inspectors yet I was treated like I was dumb Ginny didn't change the wipers but charged $76 when I went to question them the manager said "thier ripped" How does one with two brand new wipers in two weeks? And she said it was theirs because of the number which has got to be a lie unless they sell used wipers. Because of my lifestyle and I don't cuss they were spared however they're going to get the wrong people in there so I hope they get their act together I won't ever go back and I advise you not to read more

People are friendly and profeshional, mechanics very nice and can explain whats wrong and how to fix it. Also i havent been to a mr. Tire yet that tried to sell things to me that my car doesnt need. Will deffinately go back again and again!!! read more

Came in with a flat that I wasn't sure could be fixed. The tech took the time to show me that unfortunately it couldn't because the cut was too deep. I didn't get any paid services done but I did show up and ask to get air in my tires when my tire pressure light came on. Although they were busy and it was super cold out Craig was super sweet and took the time to fill my tires for me. So let's start with the fact that I'm a technician for a dealership and have been in the automotive industry for 15 years now, I had an ATV tire that was leaking through the tire didn't have time or the ability to go to my place of work to install a tube, was driving by MR TIRE (who should be about doing tires) on my way to get my hair cut up the street and figured shoot they'll toss a tire in for me. Oh how sadly disappointed I was, asked the guy at the desk "hey if I drop and ATV tore off for a bit can you throw a tube in it for me?" He says "oh no we can't do that it doesn't fit on the machine." So I explain I point at my shirt which has the dealership name on it and looked at him funny and said "I installed these on the same machine?!" He then says "well that's just not what we do here!" So I turn around and say "this is a TIRE shop is it not? Well thanks for nothing I guess!!" Something that takes maybe 20 mins if your really struggling, and it would've been different if he said he was all booked up and really busy because THAT I understand but to undermine me saying the machine can't do it was mind boggling for a job that even the most basic of mechanics/tire changers can and should be able to do was not able to be performed!!!! Went up the street to MIDAS and they were more than happy to help me out guy says "yea drop it off, I'll give you a shout when it's all set" now that's how it should've went. Oh and on a side note I worked for a monro in my earlier years of being in the business and I did tires like that all the time!!!! read more
