Things went well until I drove away. I think there are new scratches on my rims but I can't prove that so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I should have photographed all four wheels prior to the work. The biggest problem was that the tires were not inflated properly. I got warnings right away that three of the four tires had low pressure. To me this is a very basic requirement when replacing tires. All 4 should be inflated to the proper pressure. I feel like this is a very basic service that they neglected to do.

I believe their pricing is fair, and probably more than fair, given the expertise they have. To give you a sense of their integrity, I'll share one story. I had left my car there to have maintenance done, and when they finished it was parked in the side lot as is the norm. In the few hours between the completion of the work and my arrival to pick it up, someone had swung open their rear door into my car's front fender so hard that it left two sizable dents that couldn't be repaired without going to a body shop. I didn't notice the body damage until I got home, and I quickly called Tony to let him know what I found. He was aware of how well I tend to my vehicles, was horrified, apologized profusely and without any hesitation offered to pay to fix the damage done in his parking lot. Now any time my car comes in for service, he makes sure to tell me that he will keep it parked in the garage until I pick it up. Tell me, where else are you going to find another garage with integrity like that? I won't bother to look since Masello's is the one of the few shops I go to for maintenance and repairs.

So far, workmanship seems good, no price haggling after the deal was struck and work completed in a very timely manner. Steve came to my house to inspect my vehicle, drove it to his garage for repairs and returned my car to my home when complete. (Pep Boys quoted me $2,800 to replace control arms only, we felt very fortunate to find Steve. Then just recently he quoted a price of nearly $500 to replace the front and back brake pads and rotors on my wife's car, we supply the parts, we feel this price is high. With good tools the work to replace brake pads and rotors for all four wheels should take between 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Any mechanics out there looking for brake work? I have to go through hassles and delays to deal with just about any dealer and wanted to avoid the hassle. I went to this Valvoline Oil Change Location, parked my car outside and walked in to ask some questions. I have had a miserable experience at another quick oil change places and I wanted to avoid a very costly experience. I was able to speak with a knowledgeable and polite customer service oriented person who entertained my questions and gave me no B.S answers. OK, I decided I was confident in their knowledge and skills to do an oil change for my beloved German vehicle. The short story is that I was able to drive in to this location without an appointment, and receive an oil and filter change for $80.00. That is expensive but, my car requires almost 7 quarts of synthetic (expensive) oil, a special filter and , for you gear heads, I needed to know that my aluminum oil pan would not be stripped by an air wrench over torqued drain plug. Dealer price is $120 to $130 plus the wait, appointment etc... Heck, no wait with good service on a foreign car for almost $50 dollars less than dealer price, I'll take that ! BUT, if you have a finnicky foreign car TALK to them first and tell them what you require. I even offered use of my torque wrench. If you have your standard vehicle that takes regular oil and filter, etc... I think you will have no problem for about $25 bucks.
