As you remember, I paid over 6,000.00 for your services and regret every minute and dollar spent. I should have asked for the accreditations of all the people who worked on my vehicle as I believe they were more BOCES than Jaguar trained, yet I paid the big bucks for what I feel was no more than Craigslist mechanics. Let's begin with the loose steering. The steering wheel still has play and earlier this year I brought this to your attention but you refused to look at it unless I paid a 67.00 fee. Since when does a shop of your "caliber" look for money to inspect warranty work? That's why I wrote to the Better Business Bureau and they published my complaint regarding tour work. Next is the alignment which you did twice and admitted, "That's the best I can do". At 275.00 for an alignment I would think you could have made this big engined vehicle...12 cylinder go down the road on a straighter path. Let's talk about the brakes, 1500.00+, which pull to the right and the front hose which I was charged 101.00 leaks. The brake light keeps coming on at the oddest times, and then shuts off. Finally the "Minor" tuneup which you gave the car. You didn't clean out the mouse nest which took me 2 hours to remove, but you did tell me there were leaves. 970.79 for a job that left my idle to this day erratic, and quite a few vacuum hoses which you "forgot" to reinstall. I inspected terminals which were not cleaned but corroded. And one more thing, the PCV valve which you replaced for 104.83 and mentioned it really didn't need it but it might have been original, so why not...but the engine breather which was adjacent you didn't touch. I read the manual, removed it and soaked it in gasoline to remove the molasses like crud in its lattice work shaped body. I also scraped the gunk around the pipes which I am sure you should have looked at as it was so close. Jeff, you and your crew did a disservice to my beautiful 1989 5.3L XJS convertible. This year since you worked on it has been a nightmare as I believe you didn't solve the problem but became part of it. And yes, because I know you will use this...I did complete your survey immediately as I trusted you, but didn't know the negative issues until I drove the vehicle and it was too late to retract them. You used this against me when I disputed 2,900.00 worth of your work with American Express, and you won the case. Sly...very sly. My vehicle, as we reach the 1 year warranty point which you will not honour has been driven less than 4000 miles which again fits into your warranty specs, is not where I want it and reed it to be...I feel I have wasted a great deal of money and would not recommend your shop.

He then got aggressive after I just paid $500+ for absolutely nothing. Not to mention when I dropped the car off it started, now it doesn't start and also underneath my hood was all taken apart along with grease in the door well. The gentleman got so defensive I asked if he wanted to fight me, I couldn't tell if he was initiating a brawl or trying to explain why he was double billing me. It was a day-and-night difference from another shop I struggled with that week. In the other shop, I was told that the tire would be ready in next day (not available), then 3 day later (not available again) and a week later. In contrast, Big4 got the matching tire next day. .. really saved my week for this rather exotic car. I saw how they meticulous took care of the car. I asked them to use the exact torque (103 lbs-ft) for the wheel bolts, and I saw they hand fastened each bolt with a torque wrench! Then they put the exact air pressure (42 PSI, I didn't tell them but they got it from the door sticker). This 42 PSI pressure is very important for the safe operation of Polestar 2. Overall, they did everything timely (waiting time was very short), yet handled everything very professionally. Some other notes: ---Customer reception area was spacious, clean and welcoming. That space didn't have any "tire smell" that is commonly found in most tire shops. Actually the door had a sign, "don't bring a tire inside" so I could tell they try to make this space as nice as possible. There were two nice old water paintings decorating the wall, and many photos and the big wooden American flag and Big4 sign. I liked how they decorated the reception. ---I saw a firetruck being serviced at another slot. I didn't know a firetruck could be placed in a private shop like this, and that scene was kind of assuring that even a firetrucks being sent here for service. I am so happy to find this shop, and can recommend it to anyone.

I come at the end of the day to pick up the car and am told they found rubbing on the brake/rotor and fixed it at no charge. As I pull out there is no fix, the same noises come from the front of my car. Waste of my time and two missed days of travel for my job.

The owner, Jeff Thomas is complicit in the abusive behavior of his employees, based on my personal experience. I brought my Range Rover in for diagnostics and a repair quote. When I politely asked for clarification on certain billing items, the service advisor (Tony Lesko) became increasingly abrasive and ultimately refused to continue working on my vehicle. I was instructed to pick it up immediately and pay only for diagnostics, which I did. At pickup, after I paid and signed only the receipt, I documented my vehicle with photos and video. *** While I was seated inside my car preparing to leave, the service advisor came out of the building, banged on my driver-side window, and then reached his arm inside my vehicle, multiple times, without my consent in an attempt to honk the horn, while continuing to make aggressive remarks.*** This behavior was intimidating, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. The interaction was recorded. While on the premises, I also noticed that a brake warning light was illuminated, which had not been present prior to bringing the vehicle to the shop. That raised serious safety concerns for me. For clarity: tampering with a motor vehicle or interfering with its operation can constitute a felony under New York law. I am not making an accusation, but given the conduct and the vehicle condition upon release, this was alarming and unacceptable. Customers should be able to ask billing questions without being subjected to intimidation or physical boundary violations. I have filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies and would not return.

Feeling good about the shop, I also asked for a quote on lowering springs installation. I was quoted around 900 dollars for the job, which I later looked up the book hour from BMW on this job was only 4.5 hrs. They also wanted 250 for alignment. Both these two quotes were on the higher end. I ended up driving to the stance shop at Queens and got the springs installed along with alignment for 400 dollars
