So, about two weeks ago I was having air coming out of my tires. I was freaking out because I didn't know what I had ran over, or if there was a nail stuck in my tire. It was at a complete 0 psi but my tire was not flat at all. I decided to stop in at Mr P's and after waiting for a little bit. They did a full inspection on the tire and told me that the rim actually had cracks on it. The cracks could've possibly been from potholes, curbs, etc. What I liked about that interaction is that they were completely honest with me. They even recommended a nearby shop that was able to weld the rim together. I was extremely satisfied with the service. read more

We were almost killed when our Lexus SUV flipped over, leaving us hanging upside down by the seatbelts strapped around our necks. The company took no responsibility for the tires that they just installed, coming off the rim. As the officer on site stated, tires with grass and dirt sticking out of 2 of the tires, with one "coming off the bead"! I get there 7:45 AM and there were already people waiting inside before eight and I was waiting my turn and they said it'd be an hour wait because they don't take appointments. If you need tires, you need to go to Mr. P's. I've price-compared them for multiple sets of tires against online and other local shops and they can't be beat. Sometimes you've got to wait a bit for an install, but the whole ambiance is worth it. They should actually charge you extra just to people watch and hear stories from the counter guy, customers and the shop staff. I find it's best to call a day or a few hours ahead and they will have your tires ready and waiting for you vs. having to pick from something that's in-stock. read more

I took my vehicle in to have new tires put on (purchased online). I had metal caps on my valve stems (for over a year) with no issue. I got the tires swapped exactly one month prior and went to check tires pressure. The caps were completely seized on. I was told it had to be due to corrosion. I then noted that the two I was able to get off were overly tight. That I couldn't even get two of them off. I could understand if they were driven in Wisconsin winters as the salt is nasty to corroding steel. This was during summer (with almost no rain...). I called to see what they could do and was gaslighted into being told that if they have steel caps they usually don't put them back on they hand them to you and was called "big cheese" which added gas to the flame. They switched out the valve stems (free of charge) which I appreciated, however now I have TPMS sensor light lit up on my dashboard due to them swapping the valve stems. I was very displeased with the stress this has caused me and was informed he lost his wife if we want to talk about stress. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. If there was a problem within a month of service it should be "ok sir pull on in we will get that fixed for you". I can't do it with the customer service. Yes they swapped tires for a low price, now I see why. I would recommend going through a different shop. I cannot return as if I am referred to as "big cheese" one more time I will go off in a bad way. read more

I picked up a screw in my tire about an inch from the sidewall in the tread. I usually call Mr. P's, but it is cold and I was lazy so I checked shops closer to home to plug the tire. Shop 1. Won't touch anything not in the center of the tire. Offered to replace my Pirelli's with Coopers. Also said the brakes that replaced 6,000 miles ago were worn out and needed replacement. Shop 2. Wont touch either for being in the side wall, it wasn't but ok. Told me I need a new Air Filter and they can swap it out for $30 something. I have a lifetime filter. So.. BS detector was going off. I called Mr. P. They said they can't promise anything but stop by. I did, was in a bay in 5 minutes. (that never happens to me) They plugged it for just under $22 and they told me to test it out on a drive to Disney. (it is so damn cold... I might) They saved the day.... Again... Sorry for trying to cheat on you guys, those other shops meant nothing. They were ugly, dirty and dishonest... It won't happen again... Promise! read more

I was driving and remembered I had two tires in my trunk that I wanted to install on my car before a road trip to Indiana. I searched Yelp and based on my location Mr. P's and a few others came up. I called a few of the shops, and based on Yelp reviews, I chose Mr. P's. I walked in with no appointment and they were busy. They took my name and I had a seat. Being "new" I asked the other people in the waiting area about Mr. P's and they all gave 5-star reviews. I waited about 30 minutes from walking in until the tires were installed. I cannot say enough amazing things about Mr. P's. After being bamboozled by a dealership Mr. P's stepped in and correctly diagnosed and fixed my two problems. Let me explain a little. I bought tires from the dealership and experienced traction issues out of the gate. I was brushed off and told it was just me. Needed that adjust to the new tires. Problem persists, performance declines even further. I get mansplained on how tires work and how these are amazing tires. Any sign of frost, snow I'm having challenges with oh you know keeping my car on the road. This dealership gets sold...new owners are eh at best. Charge me a "diagnostic" charge of 50 bucks and tell me my tires are fine. I get the feeling I have gotten bamboozled again. This is where Mr P comes in and saves the day... No diagnostic fee and turns out dealership is definitely doing it wrong. Wrong tire for my needs, improper rotation... all kinds of wonky. Honestly some of the BEST customer service I've ever received. I am the girl with the worlds worst luck. I bought 4 brand new tires on 4/17/2018. I'm a 23 year old college student, so this is a huge purchase for me. (I'm sure you all remember how much 600 dollars was at 23.) May 6th rolls around, and I hit a MASSIVE pot hole on 68th and Ohio (beware of it). It popped one of my brand new tires. Bent my rim. I was in hysterics. The next day I call Mr Ps to see if any way there's a warranty on the tires, there's not. So I take my tire and my rim in to see what it's going to cost to fix it.
