We brought the blown out tire, plus a couple old used ones that were taking up space in the garage, and they gave us a recycled tire for the minivan for under $100 and took the old ones free of charge. We pulled into the alley behind the building, which serves as an efficient assembly line of sorts, and were helped immediately. The process was quick, and the workers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Cash and card are accepted, and no appointment is needed. Boss was rude asf. Terrible communicator to someone who doesn't know much about cars/tires. Told me I had a nail in my tire and they weren't able to repair it, I needed a whole new tire. I was so happy my hubby remembered this place. We stopped at the KK local and they said the National local had our tire. We made our way there and overshot the drive way. Once in the driveway we made our way inside to get our tire. Our dealership would have charged us $165.00 for the tire. We paid under $50.00. It was neat to see them tread and balance the tire through a window in the lobby. It was pouring rain and the attendant was professional and fast. This would be my first stop next time. read more

I was a bit nervous getting my car serviced with COVID, just considering some businesses are closed, but I needed new tires on my car and Mr. P's was the best recommendation I could find. I'm so happy I went here! I called ahead of time and was told to just pop in when I had a minute, they could accommodate me. I went into the office to discuss my options and the staff member who walked me through my options was so clear about what would be best for me and my vehicle, specifically giving me ranges of options based on price. It took the team about 30 minutes (tops) to service my vehicle, and two months in, things are better than ever! Not only did I feel like Mr. P's had fantastic service, but their estimate and prices were almost 50% less than the dealership estimate I was given! They did a great job, and I will be sure to come to Mr. P's in Bay View for all of my tire needs in the future (but hoping I don't have them!!) read more

My husband and I use Mr. P's tires consistently. We've been to the Bayview and the Walker's Point store. If one store doesn't have it, the other likely will and they are only minutes apart. They'll find a tire to fit your needs whether it's one, two, or a whole set (new or used). When we needed a tire in a hurry, they were able to do it. The staff is helpful but you need to know which questions to ask. They can come across as brusque, but I prefer to think of it as efficiency. Prices are fair (I know I've called around to other tire shops because our tire size is odd). Mr. P's is our first choice. read more

Good prices and good stock but don't explain the wear on the tire well even when asked multiple questions, one time it seemed like they were avoiding talking about anything except for the tread then that tire formed a "nipple" within a few hundred miles. 100% go here if you are knowledgeable about tires and know how to inspect a tire yourself before buying, but don't come here if u don't and are just hoping to save money cuz they might fool u with a shitty tire and you'll end up spending more on getting the same tire replaced twice or more compared to a more reliable place. read more

My friend usually goes to the Mr. P's in Bay view and unfortunately she got a flat tire and the closest one was this location. She called ahead of time to see how much it was for a new tire and when she got to the location and after she left she realized they had given her a used tire. A week later the tire was completely flat. She ended up calling the guys in Bayview to take a look at it and they found 2 nails in the tire that she was given. They fixed it for her and not even 2 days later the tire sensor on the car came on so she went back only to find ANOTHER small nail in the tire and ended up just having to get a whole new one. Your staff should really pay attention to what they give their customers so another person doesn't go through it again. read more

One time I stopped by to have the old tires on my car balanced and fix a leak in one of the tires. They did it without question My wife's car had leaks in all her tires. Front tires were a bit worn but the rear had all the tread. The manager is chain smoking crank and he looked at the tires and said they were shot and I should get new tires. I asked him if he would fix the leaks in the meantime. He said no. He is random and thinks he is the god of tires. I went to Waheed's and they took care of the leaks and put the rear tires in the front in about 20 minutes. Forget the chain smoking Grinch and go to Waheed's for your repairs. The chain smoking Grinch lost all future sales to a customer today. read more

Terrible service. Called in about getting tires installed and was told to come by 3:30. I arrive 5 till 3 and wait about 20 minutes before being helped. One guy asked me to pull my car around into the alley where they work. When I pull the car around another guy tells me they're done for the day. It's not even 3:20 at this point and I tell him the other guy already told me to bring my car around. When I showed the guy I originally talked to the tires I needed installed he looked disgusted and told me they can't do it. Its still not 3:30. The other guy tells me "no one would've told you to come in at 3:30 to have tires installed." I'm done. These guys were more interested in trying to go home than servicing customers. A woman came in after me with a flat and they tried to turn her away...BEFORE 3:30 read more

I stopped in for the first time a few weeks ago. Super friendly and helpful staff, they knew exactly how to fix my tire and it didn't take long at all. Not the biggest place, so I'd recommend calling and asking if they have what you need/how long it might take before you stop. I'll definitely​ be back! read more

Had a flat tire late on Saturday afternoon, not long before closing time. The gentleman there removed the tire, fixed the rim that was slightly bent, then remounted the tire...all with friendly efficient service. The place might look a little rough on the outside, but the work was done quickly and correctly. I appreciate how fast they got it fixed and the price was reasonable. Daughter's boyfriend hit a pothole and blew out his two right side Pirelli tires. These idiots sold them two used Continental tires for $100 and didn't bother to put them both on the front or the back to minimize the mismatch's impact on handling. So, two foul-ups: wrong tires and not installed in the safest manner. Kids could have been killed. We are replacing them with four new tires from TireRack. Avoid these jerks. They are greedy and dangerous or perhaps just stupid. In any event, don't let them touch your car. read more
