Past experience has taught me that the sound is from a nail in my tire or a rock stuck in the tread of a tire. I pulled over and found a large sheet metal screw in the driver's side front tire. I added the maintenance package to my tires when I bought them because I knew my 4+ years of no tire issues was bound to end, except I couldn't get through when I called, and they were about a 25 minute drive away via the highway, which wouldn't be the smartest move to attempt. Pulled up local tire shops and Waheed's was the nearest with a 4 1/2 star rating on Yelp. Called them up, explained my situation, and they said come right over. I pulled up, told the gentleman which tire had the screw in it, he guided me toward backing up and forward and turning wheels until he saw it. Then he grabbed his tools and a plug, removed the screw and plugged the hole without me even leaving my car! I heard a little air escape for a few seconds between removing the screw, prepping the hole, and plugging it, but the tire pressure light didn't come on, so he assured me I was good to go. No issues at all since the repair. I'll call my tire store anyway to follow up, but Waheed's showed me why they are highly rated, and I highly recommend them. Inexpensive and very fast repair (less than 10 minutes), great service (I tipped the guy who made the repair), and one very happy customer (me).

Got out the car and didn't see a flat and my tire pressure light was not on. This flapping sound became a little louder the closer I got to her drop off point and now I'm nervous. Checked again no flat so after I dropped my passenger off I went to my job blocks away to grab my laptop and contact someone for a ride as I still don't see what's going on. I called my friend about it and she advised to contact Luckey's because she was told from a friend of hers they are super reasonable and to have them inspect the issue. I called them to explain the issue they informed me that they can take a look in the morning as they are closing in 45 minutes. I safely got my car up there and they gave me a call the very next morning around 8:15 and informed me they were able to locate the issue right away. I had a long bolt of some sort in the tire and the sound I was hearing was this little bugger rubbing against the tire well. They were able to get the tired replaced with a new and got my car that same day! Not only was Kurt and Bryan professional and kind, they were able to save me a little money with my issue. A new tire, labor and tax it came to $125 and you can't beat that with a stick. Because of their price and service, I have a new go to for my car needs and love the fact they're local. Talk about crap customer service. That's when we found family run A&A Tire, a few miles away. They were also booked all day but they actually understand customers who are in need and stranded. A&A told us to have the dealer inflate the tire and drive right over. They sent a mechanic to a tire distributor just in case the tire was ruined. They fit us in, replaced the tire, and actually charged 100.00 less for the tire than the Mercedes dealer told us the new tire would cost. Great shop, extremely nice people.

This time I needed a new tire for one that had sidewall damage. It's a special tire, but they were able to locate one and have it delivered and installed in a couple of days.
