Lentil Soup 1/4 Rotisserie Chicken Rice and salad .
    Chris A.

I have to say the chicken here is so delightfully tasty, as well as the lentil soup. I tried the Tuesday Special which included a hearty portion of chicken, rice, salad and lentil soup for a very incredible price. I will definitely be going back and trying other dishes that they offer, the one I selected for Tuesday was so flavorful!

So pleased with my first meal at a Mr.Pollo! My family decided to change Italian Friday's to Colombian Friday's with delivery from this location. They first informed us delivery will take an hour or more because they need to cook our dinners from scratch. we were patient and pleased with the outcome. we have two trays of rotisserie chicken that was extremely juicy and delicious, and I'm usually bored with rotisserie but not here ! The avocado salad was phenomal and whatever that orange dressing is is my new favorite kind. The plantains were great, and so was the potato. I should've asked for Snapple instead of the large bottle of Pepsi since my family doesn't drinks soda. I highly recommend this spot, five stars !

Very bad quality food. Empanadas we're burned and crispy like it was fried too many times. Would not recommend.

Authentic and tastyyy Bandeja Typica (A Typical Platter) $14.50 -Carne asada, huevo frito, chicharron, maduro, arroz, aguacate, arepa y frijoles. (Grilled beef, fried egg, pork rind, sweet plantain, rice, avocado, corn cake and beans) Thanks google translate -Absolutely delicious. Carne asada was mouthwatering; pork rinds were a little hard to eat and stuck to teeth; but beans were just ugh! SO GOOD. Huge portion, took half of it home. Pricey but good -beware of picture*, you may explode! No tap water, only bottled ($1.50) :/ Mr. Pollo, I look forward to coming back. and maybe meeting Mrs. Pollo one day, she's a lucky gal *side effects may include passing out, dizziness, shortness of breath, unwanted salivation, increased blood pressure, and may or may not include whispering 'adios mios' on the floor

Hate writing bad reviews but I'm a Yelper and my job is to give the most accurate review and that's what I vowed to do. With that being said, this place is not great at all. Most of these reviews on here are very accurate. The customer service is so-so. The owner is rude as ever. Now the food: I ordered steak and onions and it was so disgusting. How do you burn plantains and better yet serve it? I think another Yelper asked the same thing? For the food to be that pricey, I feel as though it deserves to starkest taste good. The avocado they gave me that came with the meal was so dry and stale. And everyone knows I love me some avocado. The steak had no flavor. I had to season it myself and then eat it. What a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend at all

I gave this place a second try but definitely will not give it a third. It's is still horrible! Customer service is horrible the food is mediocre and the staff is extremely rude. My rice looks like it was drowned in food coloring extremely salty and the plantain was burned.

Had much better!!!!! Very bland and rushed cooking!!! Very bland would not recommend to anyone!!!tThe rice was undercooked and the salad was not fresh. The only thing good was the hot sauce. Avoid and do t waste your money especially for dinner on a school night to feed your family.

If you must get delivery here, ask for more sauce! They only gave us 2 sauces for Typical Platter, Mr. Pollo Platter, and large Yellow Rice
    Fernando P.

Burnt sweet plantains? Check. Two tiny sauce containers for a Typical Platter, Mr. Pollo Platter, and a large Yellow Rice? Check. In addition, I never thought Colombian food could be bland until I tried the food here. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our delivery so I didn't bother complaining about the charred sweet plantains. Look elsewhere for Colombian food.

My number 1 favorite food ever is Colombian. Never. Goes. Wrong. I just feel like its always made with love ya know? so lucky to have this in the neighborhood. Not the BEST colombian food ive ever had in my life. The meat was pretty dry. But it satisfies my needs. Prices are great too! It saves a trip to jackson heights

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with great music and beautiful décor that adds to the experience (I wish I had remembered to take more pictures!). The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. The meat was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor, and the green sauce served on the side was so good that I found myself putting it on everything. The jalea was outstanding--it came with a generous amount of shrimp, fish, calamari, and perfectly crispy fried yuca (cassava). Every bite was flavorful, and the seafood tasted fresh. The portions were generous, the service was attentive, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for authentic Peruvian food with amazing flavors, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service, Inca Paisa is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be coming back!

The hostess from the coffee shop next door comes out and tells us that they are also Mr Mario and that we could order from the same menu. Taking a quick look, we decided to sit in the coffee shop. The drinks were off I couldn't exactly point what was wrong. Maybe the Coke was flat I'm not sure but it just wasn't good. As for the food, my friend got the steak (well done which he says is the only way that steak should be eaten, I beg to differ) as well as the chicken. The food is incredibly land, and my chicken was honestly wet for a lack of better terms. I can't recall the last time that pechuga (chicken breast) was wet and that's probably because it's not supposed to be! The only reason that I gave this place two stars is that the employees here were nice, but I wouldn't return especially when there are many better spots nearby- not necessarily for Colombian food but great food in general.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, and one of the servers (a young lady) was very attentive and on top of everything. Unfortunately, the service from another server was disappointing. I've been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, and I quickly noticed some concerning practices: * He added a tip to my first check without clearly mentioning it, then took the check away very quickly. Later he returned with another receipt asking for additional tips, which could easily trick guests into tipping twice if they aren't paying close attention. * He was bussing tables and serving food without gloves, and I did not see him wash his hands before handling plates. That's a serious sanitation issue that could make someone sick. This place really needs a manager or supervisor keeping a closer eye on staff, because experiences like this can take away from how great the food is. Overall -- excellent food, but service and hygiene practices need serious improvement.
