I've tried Mr. Pide once before as takeout, and already I would have given them 5 stars. The food is incredible, the portions are large, and everything tastes fresh. I came inside to eat today and the service is so much more than I ever could have asked for. The young man who took our orders gave us complimentary Turkish tea, water bottles, and bottles of the sauce provided on the meals. Mr. Pide is a place worth trying & once you do, you'll find yourself returning again & again not just for their excellent food but for their warm open style of service. You are always greeted with genuine friendliness. It's like entering the kitchen of an old friend and they're always happy to see you. The Donner chicken is shaved thin, spiced flavorfully, dressed with a bit of heat and absolutely to die for either as a pita or poutine style heaped on a bed of fries. The beef kabobs are really quite generous & always cooked fresh to order. Completely worth the few extra minutes it takes. Not to worry though, Omer & family offer tea & sampling's of menu items to keep you fed while you wait. The Gyro comes piled high with sliced meat, ample serving of tzatziki sauce and nice crisp lettuce, onion & ripe tomato. Wonderful! Oh! Also incredibly authentic hummus and baklava. Both are wonderful so is the falafel. Also don't miss the giant pile of fries. Basically You can't have bad food here ever. This is a family business and they make you feel welcome. They are just getting the business started so the building might not look immediately appealing but once you're through the front door you'll forget all about that and enjoy great food from great people. read more

Found this place thanks to Yelp and glad we did.. Tried the chicken pita, great flavor and a very generous portion. I wasn't crazy about the hummus because I prefer more garlic but it was still good and tasted fresh and creamy. It appears to be a family run business which I appreciate and the service was friendly with complimentary hot tea offered while waiting for the order. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Hands down the best restaurant in Sachse. Great people, great food and great prices. The Chicken Doner platter is to die for, but you will not be disappointed with anything you order. Everything is fresh and delicious. The family that owns and works there really takes pride in their food and their business and you can tell. They're also some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Arrived shortly prior to closing and was greeted by father and son. I ordered and was entertained by great conversation and complimentary Turkish coffee. Restaurant was clean and organized. The family lives In Sachse and takes great pride in what they do. Wonderful service and great food. Everything was phenomenal! Where do I begin? The restaurant has a very cozy/family atmosphere. The owner is very kind and outgoing. They truly make you feel at home. The building is very well kept and clean. First time trying this local place and I was quite impressed. It is a quaint shop near downtown Sachse and the owner and staff are super friendly and informative. I heard our server telling people about the food and the FANTASTIC tea she brought around. The food was delicious. I had a Gyro all the way and it was large and delicious. My wife had Chicken Doner and that too was fantastic. But the best was the Falafel! If you like falafel, this is the place to go! Definitely try it out! read more

i just love this place so much. if they were open more than 3 days a week it would be a problem because i would go there to eat way too often. you can tell everything is homemade and fresh and so so flavorful. i recommend the mixed plate with rice. you get both beef and chicken as well as a little bit of salad and two different kinds of sauce which are both out of this world. oh they also have the best pita i've ever tried. the staff is attentive and kind as well. all around 5 star place. read more

We were very surprised to find such a gem! The food is amazing and the service is immaculate! They let us taste the chicken donor in their two sauces that they offer and I was hooked. The hospitality was amazing, brought us hot tea, hummus and baclava on the house! The portions are massive and the food is delicious. We were offered some coffee, I wanted to try but it was too late for me to have coffee. Will definitely be back for all the food and to try the coffee. Truly impressed! What a quaint little place. Took our 3 year old and 6 year old here for dinner and was delighted by how good the food was. We had the beef gyro platter and the falafel platter. You can have it on top of rice, salad, or fries. We also got a side of hummus. The hummus was very good. They brought it out with little complementary teas. It was a nice change of pace. My sons a have peanut allergy and they were very much aware that the baklava could have cross contamination. Most places are not that informed about allergies, so that was a plus. I have been following on Facebook and watching the Yelp reviews over the last few weeks. Went by tonight and received a warm welcome and the menu explained. Decided on the beef kabob with rice and also the chicken doner with salad for my wife. Also some falafel. Everything was amazing. Great garlic sauce and hot sauce. The tzatziki was delicious. Falafel well done and not doughy. Beef kabob had so much flavor. Hint of onion and garlic was the touch. Chicken doner cooked to perfection. Lots of food as well. I've ordered there 4 times and will continue. Here are the 5 star items...beef gyro, chicken, pitas bread, and hummus. Rice, salad, and sauces are all average. HOWEVER, I tried both their baklava and falafel. Both are 1 star, at best. Actually, I feel they owe me a refund for those items, they are that bad. Baklava was previously refrigerated, not flaky and was like eating cold, gummy karo syrup with nuts. The falafel was too dense, over cooked, and had little flavor. I could only choke down 1 of the 4 in the order before tossing it out. read more

This is my new neighborhood favorite. It's a cute and clean interior. A few tables to sit and enjoy your dinner but we noticed several people ordered to go. When we arrived at around 6:30 on a Saturday evening all the tables were full. I ordered the beef gyro sandwich/wrap. My husband ordered the beef gyro plate on a bed of fresh french fries. Both were excellent, the food is fresh and the serving size is generous. After many months of driving past this place I saw the positive reviews on yelp and we gave it a try. The food is very flavorful and the loaded mixed meat fries were delicious. The baklava was a little dry and tough but overall the meal was plentiful and very tasty. I like spicy, so would love to see a hotter red sauce on the menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine. read more
