Wow what nice high quality food and prepared by friendly father and son crew. We will be back soon

In an unassuming little building off of 78 lies the absolute best doner around. I always get the mix over fries and it's always delicious. This is my favorite go-to spot when they're open on the weekends. Their portions are beyond generous and the flavors couldn't be better. Anyone visiting Sachse (or Dallas in general) need to give Mr. Pide a try! You will not be disappointed! read more

Yes! First and most important. The food is very good. The owners are very friendly. If you like Mediterranean, you need to try the food here. Now, let's cover a few bases because this place is only 6-months new. 1) Don't let the outside turn you away. Yes, the building needs plants and flowers on the curb to dress it up. It would also help for a window to not be blacked out so that customers can see inside. As soon as you step inside you'll see it's great. 2) The portions are generous. I had the Gyro over fries with salad and pita. Not something I typically order at a Mediterranean place, but the pictures online looked great. That said, I would love to see traditional cucumber, tomato and olive salad offered as an option over lettuce/tomato. Bottom line, the food and service are solid. The outside of the building needs a little curb appeal, but this should not stop you from trying the food here because it's on the inside that really only matters anyway. Enjoy! read more

Amazing food, huge potions! Curb appeal is significantly lacking, but the inside is clean. Friendly staff! I got the falafel plate and it was very nostalgic of late night halal trucks. So yummy! Can't wait to go again! read more

Just get the food! Impossible to find 1st pass, no ambiance, no nothing...just get the food and a lot of sauce and you'll be happy

This was a rare perfect 5 star 70 review restaurant that is one that matches its rating. Amazing, authentic, reasonable, and delicious. This is a diamond being made. Father and son starting out and they have a great start! All meat is Halal and it's plentiful on the plates. I asked for traditional Gyro Tzaziki sauce and the young man said they have his fathers special creamy garlic sauce with his hot red sauce. A new turn for me on a pita gyro, but awesome!. Service was fast and on time as I called ahead. The baklava dessert was also delicious! I asked how to pronounce the name of the place and he said "Mr. Pita". I said that sounded like Pita. He said this is the Turkish spelling. Give Mr. Pide a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Mr. Pide - Mr. "Pee-Dah" (Pita) sign - Mediterranean Near Me - Sachse, Texas

Hospitality defines this gem of Sachse. In a city where fried chicken restaurants and other unhealthy chains thrive, Mr. Pide is carving its space by bringing authentic Mediterranean cuisine paired with tea-serving welcomeness that invites guests to linger until they become family. Family-owned by long-time Sachse residents, this family accommodates the demographics palette while serving up delicious gyros and kebabs. I hope to see the menu expand as more people discover this hidden treasure. read more

We just had a quick lunch there. Got a beef gyro combo (with seasoned fries) and a chicken gyro combo. Deliciously seasoned and tender meat nestled into pita bread topped with freshy, crunchy lettuce, diced tomato, sliced purple onion and white/red sauces. Looking forward to trying kebabs next! read more

Their food is always yummy! Home made tasting and fresh. Always a pleaser for my picky bunch

Finally had the chance to get lunch at the newly opened Mr Pide in Sachse. Chicken Doner sandwich. For those of you that don't know... it's like a giant chicken fajita. The bread is like a thick fluffy flour tortilla. It's served with a sour cream type sauce and a spicy red sauce. The meat is flavorful, and plentiful. Totally worth the wait! I'm excited to have doner available in Sachse! read more

Tried Mr. Pide for the first time last week and now I'm sad I waited this long. My husband and I ordered the chicken and beef mix over rice and OMG! It was so good! Full of flavor and plenty of food! We are moving soon and I think I may have to drive back to the area just for Mr. Pide. Absolutely delicious! read more

DO NOT TAKE THIS PLACE FOR GRANTED. 6 months after leaving Dallas, it's nothing I miss more than Mr.Pide. My mouth waters thinking about the white and red sauce. The service is always phenomenal. I've been to other Halal restaurants across the country but nothing compares. Mr.Pide, you've got gold on your hands! read more

Mr. Pide - Beef kabob only available on Saturday's - Mediterranean Near Me - Sachse, Texas

Mr. Pide's is a 5 star restaurant with it's authentic mediterranean food.. Prices are reasonable. Mr. Pide and his son are very helpful and eager to please their customers. I order over the phone and I usually get it to go. Service was fast and on time when I called ahead. Portion sizes are plenty! We get the chicken donor with the sauces (yum) over rice. The baklava dessert was also delicious! Try them out, your won't be disappointed. read more

They have a very basic menu, but what they do, they do well. The food, specifically the sauce, was delicious. The service was way better and friendlier than anything I've experienced locally. One complaint is that getting into and out of the parking lot is a little sketchy, coming off of high-speed 78. If they could get a little driveway permitted and built from the smaller road to their southwest (6th St.?), it would be a much safer in/egress for their customers. read more

Amazing service. As soon as I walk in I assume the owner asked if I want to sample the chicken or beef/lamb gyro meet. I ordered the beef kobab and the chicken both with rice salad and pita bread. All tastes amazing, great seasoning on the meat. As I'm was waiting for my order the guy behind the counter brings me a tea. Epic service!!! read more

Mr. Pide - Mediterranean Near Me - Sachse, Texas

I called in my order for pickup which was pretty seamless. The environment inside the restaurant is pretty sparse and could use some improvement. As for the food, I ordered a chicken Döner sandwich and a gyro sandwich with fries. They use the kind of pita that I love (thick without a pocket). The Döner was fantastic and the gyro was good, but sliced much thinner than I was expecting (as thin as deli meat). I'm not sure if this is a usual style from a specific Mediterranean region, but I hadn't had it like this before. It was good, just not my favorite. The fries were great and had a nice seasoning on them. I'll probably try a few other Mediterranean places before coming back, but overall it was a good experience. read more

Stumbled upon this gem, food was delicious! Had the beef gyro and fries, did not disappoint.

I drive for a local food delivery service and picked up an order from Mr. Pide for the first time tonight. Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted with a hearty hello. The man preparing the food thanked me for stopping by, offered me some complimentary hot tea and insisted I take a small container of chicken doner with me. I must say, I have lived a sheltered life - never trying Mediterranean food in my life (fact!), but I was feeling adventurous tonight. The chicken was cooking rotisserie style just like trompo or al pastor meat that you'd find at a Mexican taco joint. He asked if I liked spicy food, and I agreed to some dressing and hot sauce on it. I thanked him for the food and he invited me to stop by anytime. When I got to the car, I gave it a shot. Y'all. This was nothing short of amazing. The chicken was tender, super flavorful and that hot sauce gave it just the kick it needed. I believe it's normally served on rice, which would just knock it out of the park! Yum! I will definitely be back, and would like to thank Mr. Pide for introducing me to the world of Mediterranean food! read more

Great service!! Better food. Absolutely amazing!! My favorite is the beef gyro over rice. The pita bread taste homemade and handmade. The chef and su chef are amazing and very hospitable!! read more

It keeps getting better and best. My favorite place in whole of DFW area. Great quality food, generous quantities, service second to none. Visited them again today and they gave us complimentary baklava and tea beyond the great quality food that they were already serving. Outside might look mediocre but the magic and the surprise part is their food and which is what we love the most and owners are very warm and humble. I request all halal loving people to patronize this and similar other places and family run businesses especially during these tough pandemic times. Muzamil Mohammed. read more

I don't post much...I kinda start all my posts like that but this place requires me to post less than 10 mins after I ate here. This place is amazing guys. The restaurant reminds me of America. Good hard working people making food that is so darn good. I would not hesitate having his meal 7 times a week. The beef kebabs are so juicy yet thoroughly cooked. The chicken doner is tender and flavorful. The first bite I had reminded me of how good Mediterranean food is supposed to be run. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 The Turkish chai and baklava is amazing!!! I don't give many 5's but this is amazing and deserves the 5 read more

Nice to have another great option in Sachse. Everything is good, but the chicken doner is great! My wife prefers it over rice, extra spicy, but I am a big fan of the loaded chicken doner fries. Owners are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. read more

I came here when it first opened and thought it was good, not great. But, after seeing all of the positive reviews, I wanted to try it again. We ordered beef gyros, beef kabobs, and a chicken schwarma plate. The portions are HUGE and the food is amazing! Everything was tender and delicious and I'm soooo happy I went back to this place. It's really really really good and much better than gyros and kebabs in my opinion (plus the owners are much nicer)! read more

I don't understand the $17 price. I ordered the steak kabob. It was tender and seasoned correctly but the value was just not there. It was mostly rice. The cook was cross contaminating with his gloves hand. read more

Love this place! Everything here is delicious. Don't let the modest exterior deter you, the food and service is top notch.

This restaurant is small and mostly just Togo only but don't let the looks fool you. The food is really good! My husband and I love the Chicken Doner over rice and the mix over rice! The kabobs are also really good! The sauces he puts on the shawarma are both amazing! Again this is mostly a Togo order restaurant. Although he doesn't have a drive through if you order online and put your cars make/model and color he'll bring your food right out to your car, which is actually easier than a drive through. read more

Definitely hit the spot. Loved the Gyro's. The curbside-pickup is really nice. The online order function is convenient. Will be back again! read more

My absolute favorite hole-in-the-wall. The only drawback is the hours of operation, but I look forward to the weekends when I can get the chicken doner sandwich. It's consistently good. Every time. read more

Searching all around east Dallas for decent Mediterranean food and I was really hoping to like this place but as the other places I've tried, I was left disappointed. Beef gyro with rice was just drenched in sauce, meat had no depth of flavor really, was mostly just salty (which was exaggerated even more bc of the sauce). The pita was just tough and didn't taste freshly baked. Compared to places I've tried out of state, this place just really missed the mark unfortunately. read more

Mr. Pide is a great place to eat, hands down the best. The chicken donair on salad or on fries is amazing, you can't go wrong. They have amazing, fresh food and the customer service is unrivaled. I have been going here for several years and it is consistently good. The food is hot, fresh and the order is always accurate. They give surprise baklawa sometimes and serve hot tea on a few occasions when I placed an order and waited. They are family owned and friendly people with integrity. This is my #1 place to eat in all of DFW. read more

I love the food and highly recommend it. I usually get the chicken on pita. My complaint though is that I only eat out at lunch time and also typically eat before noon. If they would open at 11 instead of 12, I would get takeout for them much more often. read more
