I absolutely love coming to Mr. Panda! 11/10 recommend. I love the hibachi station, the black pepper chicken... And perhaps an odd favorite at a Chinese Buffet- the sweet plantains/ platanos maduros! They are such a great texture with enough crispy and soft bits! Excellent layout, and drinks are included in the reasonable price! Whether fountain drinks, sweet or unsweetened tea, hot teas... My wife says "the goons be gooning" and heck I would take anyone of any age, something for everyone... And they have generous coupons. Stopped in once again for lunch. I enjoy Mr Panda for several reasons. The variety of dishes offered, things are always fresh. The price is only $12.50 for seniors all you can eat and the restaurant is kept very clean. Besides the buffet they also offer Hibachi which you can do both sides if you wish. In this day and age i try to avoid buffets but i will say this one looked pretty clean. I saw some food get exchanged pretty regularly, but i also saw some empty pans sit quite a while. For the price you can't complain but some of the chicken seemed questionable. Would i be back? Yeah probably sometime in my life but not for a while. I didn't care for it. I suppose if you were just going for hibachi it would be ok. I sampled a number of things and it just wasn't what I like. Things I did like. The chicken wings, your drink is included in the price, and they have peapods on the hibachi. I LOVE peapods. Its strangely decorated and very loud. Seemed to be kept clean enough and the staff were friendly. Booths are very large so its good for bigger parties. It wasn't for me but a lot if people seem to like it. I don't usually go to Chinese buffets however I was craving some Chinese tonight after shopping. This was out pick. It is very clean, lots of seating. You get your own drink and food. There was hibachi and lots of other options. French fries chicken wings and mac n cheese as well. Overall I'm super happy with the place and will be back when I'm craving Chinese again. The place is very inexpensive and includes a drink. We had a 15% off dinner coupon that took our dinner bill down to $15 per person out the door! These people really want to please you and for you to enjoy yourself here, which is very nice. They try to keep the buffet full too. No problem with a nice tip! They have big plates for the flat top grill and buffet as well. The place has been updated in recent times and appears clean. I had the hibachi which had shrimp, fake crab, chicken, and pork as proteins - no steak. Good selection of vegetables including zucchini, onions, jalepeno. Some eggs and noodles to make it right. They cooked it well and I enjoyed with garlic and chillis along with hibachi sauce. The buffet had a quite a few items, but they all seemed to be a little off on how I expected them to be seasoned with too much salt and pepper in everything it seemed. There were no stellar or great dishes unfortunately. There is no sushi here. The place was okay and they are trying, but I prefer the Ocean Buffet in Toledo a lot more as they have steak on the hibachi grill, sushi, and more tasty seafood and other dishes on the buffet. read more

Clean and everything was hot. We sat with dirty dishes on the table a long time. It's nice to have drinks included. They need more non-fried items and the hibachi needs to have more sauce options at least some yum yum sauce. There is no sushi and there are no cones or toppings for the soft serve. The atmosphere is great. The food was awful. My kids and I agreed we will never go back. The Mac n cheese was horrible. My daughter spit it out. My son and I had stomach aches and indigestion before we even left. Will stick with China One from now on. read more

The only thing that was tasty, but very salty was the seafood boil! That was pretty good! But to me it's like take out on buffet! Not impressed! No sushi, no bok choy, not a lot of vegetables, mostly fried or deep fried stuff! Meh! And was disappointed that there was no ice cream cones! read more

What happened in the last several weeks? You no longer have the grilled bar which was why we came in the first place. When we came last week the food had been sitting out for awhile and was old and stale.No one replaced anything either. When I first came here I thought we had discovered the "king" of Chinese buffets, but have been sadly disappointed our last visit. We come from afar and make trips out here whenever we are in the area. If the grill is too costly at this time maybe you could charge xtra for it? We are going to try one more time in the future and if it has not improved, we will no longer come again sadly. read more

Food is pretty good, could have a few more veggie dishes, really like their salt and pepper shrimp. Most importantly my husband and I won't return due to the young children that are allowed at the serving tables who can serve themselves but also breathe over the food because of their height! I LOVED IT! my mom, dad, sister, brother, twin brother, LOVED IT! we are from Toledo Ohio, and to me the entierior was awesome! Tables: clean. Floors: clean. Chairs: clean. TV: Was playing kid shows. Except to me the strawberry mousse gets a 4 stars. I got fried shrimp, regular shrimp, fried chicken, and more! For desert I got 1 japanese (or is it Chinese?) hard candy, strawberry mousse, and chocolate ice cream, and I got 6 swedish fish and 2 gummy sugar-coated red fruit things for the ice cream toppings. They even gave us 5$ gift shop cards for the Mr panda gift shop. at the gift shop I got a yo-yo (That was in Chinese or Japanese), and a pair of hat and gloves. My children threw me a surprise get together for my birthday. Mr. Panda's staff went way beyond just having us in the restaurant. One of the staff was on the lookout for when my husband and I arrived and guided us to the tables where my family was sitting. They even hung a banner that said "Happy Birthday". On top of that they even gave me a beautiful vase with a flower in a gift box. The food is delicious and they could not have been more attentive.
