I did like the omelette station but the remaining food reminded me of a hotel continental breakfast... or perhaps a Big Boy or Shoney's. Took some friends from out of town on Sunday for brunch. All six of us agreed everything was amazing. It's fun to watch chef cook your meal right in front of you. And he's good. Really good. The made to order omelets and waffles were great. And that potato pancake? Wow. The buffet is awesome. You can still order off the menus too. The place was recently remodeled. Giant Belgian waffles, really liked the strawberry sauce., Made to order omelettes. The link sausages were good, the bacon was a bit tough, or I needed sharper teeth? Our server, Grace, needs to open a school on hospitality training and every person in the service industry in Metro Detroit should attend. Grace was friendly without being condescending, attentive without being overbearing, and she always arrived at the table about seven seconds before we realized that we needed something. Took 2 customers for lunch and none of us had ever been. Our server, Grace, was phenomenal. Kept the refills going, made great recommendations and was so pleasant and helpful! First time here last week. Stopped in for lunch, Wanted to wait a bit before writing this op ed. Pros: Staci was a great server. Very pleasant and attentive. Food was good, not fantastic but good. We had a Reuben, a Gyro wrap, and a Spring salad. All came with choice of soup at the soup bar. Soups were good but nothing you want to go back for. Cons: This place is expensive. Reuben with fries: 15 bucks Gyro wrap with fries: 15 bucks Spring salad with soup 14 bucks A total of 55 bucks for lunch. My 93 year old mother took a look at the prices when we sat down and wanted to get up and leave. I said no because I wanted to try the place out. I don't think I will be back because there are other establishments with better food for the price. I've passed Moe's a hundred times, heard dozens of folks talk about it, we even had a board meeting here back in the day (a meeting I missed because I was on the road). Today I get my chance! We were greeted and seated in seconds after hitting the door. Nishan (I hope I have the young man's name right) was our server and this kid was full of energy. He quoted great detail on their breakfast buffet and quickly hooked us up with menus and drinks. Not being big eaters, we opted out of the $17.99 buffet and ordered a simple $7.50 mini-breakfast and an omelette. No issues with the food but I amaze at this kid and his ethic. We ask for ketchup, he already brought it. Hot sauce? He pulls a new bottle out of his apron. Not a huge menu to choose from but all the essentials are covered and it's a good sized place that's very popular with the people. 10/22 read more

We ate here a while ago and they charged my credit card with someone else's bill. Unfortunately there wasn't anyone there that was able to correct the error. We were overcharged by $20. We called the owner the next day and he said to come in and he would give us a meal on that $20. I just wanted the refund. He said he couldn't because it was from the previous days sales. I haven't gone back. Why would I want to give this establishment more money when they couldn't get it right the first time? I still have the receipt but haven't been back. It has left a terrible taste in my mouth and every time someone mentions Moe's, I tell them the story and figure it was an expensive lesson. I won't go back. read more

I just had the worst steak I have ever had and paid $24.00 for it. I ordered a Char grilled Rib Eye. I do think it was just grilled on a grill charcoal was involved. It had canned mushrooms with some fried onions mixed in with some watered down sauce. The only thing the sauce did was remove any taste the steak might have had. One end of the steak had big peace of fat on it and the other had fat a gristle. I had the tomato basil soup that was also watered down and barely warm. The waitress was great. My family and I ate at Moe's one night, the first time there for all of us, and we were extremely pleased. Everything was great from the time we walked in until we left. The waitress was outstanding. She answered our questions about the menu, made suggestions when asked to, and was extremely attentive. We never once had to ask where she was. We each had very different menu choices but they were all delicious. It was nice to have home-cooked meals. I was very impressed with was the welcoming atmosphere and attitudes. Often, when you arrive at a restaurant one hour before close, you get the impression that the staff would like you to turn around and walk back out because they want to leave. So, I called Moe's around 12:15 and ordered a western omelette the woman I spoke with said normally we don't serve breakfast after 11 but that she would be happy to make an exception today, great customer service to start! She said 10 min and the food will be ready, I got there in 5 and they were just boxing it up! Again great service! I recently visited this restaurant and ordered a club sandwich, which was not very good. The chicken in the club sandwich was very chewy, with very little taste. I've heard good things about the restaurant from family and friends and must've gotten the wrong item on the menu. Went there for lunch today i got the chicken Cesar salad. This chicken was grilled perfectly and marinated very well . Salad was seasoned to perfection. Would definitely come back and get this again.
