This is a basic Chinese buffet. I was not treated to any rare delights but the basics of sweet and sour chicken with red sauce, sauteed green beans and the fresh cut fruit make for an enjoyable, albeit predictable dining experience. Staff come by frequently to clear plates and there aren't lines for any of the food stations. The price is reasonable and it is one of the better Chinese food purveyors in the area. Everyone in your dining party will find something they like here. read more

It's a typical Chinese buffet. food is just ok, service is friendly, ambiance is it's a Chinese buffet what more is there to say ? I probably won't go back, but had to try it. Definitely not worth going out of your way for like I did. read more

1/2/26 First time trying this location. The service was really good making sure our plates were picked up promptly and water stayed full. The food was really good, my favorite was the shrimp. The place is really clean and orderly. Lots of food choices including some American food. The mashed potatoes gravy and Mac and cheese was good too. A really good staff. read more

The food was good, hot and fresh. Servers were polite and present, without being too solicitors or overbearing. Light music added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. read more

Free drink, when ordering the General Tso chicken! It's so watery and bland! Staff was nice. Don't think i will go there again. Food alone gets 1 or 2 stars. read more

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. Walked in right after they opened, was the first customers. I walked around to see what they had - your standard Chinese buffet with your standard food offerings that's found at any Chinese buffets. Since it was lunch, they didn't have seafood... the last buffet table had a sign "dinner only", but it also had food out, so not sure what that was all about. Salad/Dessert area - didn't touch this area, so can't say much. Sushi/Hibachi - tried some of the sushi, they had your standard rolls, lot less than other places, but enough to get your sushi kick. Didn't try the hibachi. I tried to try little of everything.. but on the fried food area, only tried the egg roll - which was your standard veggie egg rolls, bit bland. As for the other hot foods they had, the honey beef was my favorite. The lo mein was under-seasoned and to kick up the seasoning, mix it with some of the honey beef sauce and add some hot chili oil if you want it spicy!! The service was decent, water was filled regularly. The place got busy, filled up quickly. Overall, the foods were decent, nothing special that jumped out. If you have a picky eater, definitely a place worth visiting. read more

I'm a big Asian buffet aficionado this is one of the absolute worst ones I've been to and I've been to some rot gut places. The food was an absolute insult to whatever poor animal gave its life for this mess. read more

Amazing, love this place. The food is good. Customer service is good. In my opinion the best restaurant I've been too.

Service was excellent, everyone was polite. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and welcoming, love the art that's in there!! Food on the other hand.... I took my mom and my son out to dinner last night for a family dinner night, some of the food was okay, the fish was extremely fishy smelling, So we tried to stay away from it. But that didn't do much cause when we got home everyone was puking cause of food poisoning.. I hope the issue gets fixed :/ read more

Weekend dinner was only $15. I cannot stress this enough: fifteen dollars! Tons of decent food with a heavy emphasis on Asian basics. We mostly gorged on sushi which had many varieties of maki and five types of nigiri. They had lots of sauces but no normal wasabi. There were at least 5 steamer tables of hot food plus a sad salad bar. Five desert choices but seven different tubs of ice cream to choose from. There was also build your own stir fry. Lots of fish and shrimp to choose from but no crab legs. Service was great with plates cleared quickly and friendly staff. There were no Asians eating here which is typically a bad sign. Not impressed with our fellow diners but there is plenty of seating. We really like the Chinese decor like the tables and the clear booth dividers with paper sculptures of village scenes inside. Ocean Garden is definitely worth the 45 minute drive from Detroit to Toledo. read more

Excellent variety of Chinese foods, everything you can imagine, and more. Next to ordering off a menu it's Excellent and best buffet around!

When you walk in, it's definitely looks like a Chinese restaurant. The decor is spot on. You are also greeted with a vacuum and was quickly seated. The language barrier was a struggle, they do know the buffet terms: Pepsi, one, napkin, spoon, all you can eat, bathrooms and soy sauce. The buffet is large and has a big variety of dishes, many hot dishes also. They have a hibachi and sushi bar. Something told me the sushi wasn't the best and I was right, it was horrible. Not fresh and tasted funny. The food was good. The dessert bar could be better, it all looks like prepackaged food. I'm not one who likes to be reached in front of while I'm talking. Excuse me would go a long way. read more

Pretty solid for the price. Don't expect everything to be fantastic, but for a decent Chinese buffet it is solid for sure!

A Huge restaurant, it looks clean. There were 3/4 servers, oriental atmosphere. Love the fish tank of coy fish! Anyways I got there after 12 so lunch started you can tell. The food was fresh and hot and all were filled from American, Chinese and Japanese food. I was very pleased it's been a year for me going to a buffet cuz of the Covid so this was refreshing to see their still some good buffet around. I only found this because I went to TJ Max and Target it's on the same plaza. Place was cheap &8.75 I think for lunch. You must try it's really good. Not much to look at from the outside, but inside the buffet is so good with so many choices it's my go to for a great lunch.

Awesome Chinese buffet. The best buffet in the Toledo area, always bringing out fresh food, the sushi bar has great choices, the hibachi is a must try, customize your order. Very friendly staff, the owners are amazing and they treat us great. Price is very good for the variety available, very happy return customer. read more

When I first discovered this buffet many years ago, it was really good and had a big variety of foods- including sushi rolls. Recently, I went back there for the first time in a while and I was sorely disappointed! It seems as though the quality of foods has gone down. There wasn't a large variety of rolls and it didn't seem very fresh. My sister ended up getting food poisoning from eating there. I must say that although I was a fan in the past, I've moved on and found better buffets and probably won't be visiting Ocean Garden in the near future. read more

I love me some chinese food! And this buffet didn't disappoint, a wide variety of foods for everyone and very tasty. Living up to its name, the ocean and garden were both represented with lots of seafood dishes as well as vegetables and fruit. The sushi was decent, did not try the hibachi grill as I couldn't resist going back for more coconut shrimp and pineapple, so good together! The servers were nice, the decorations were very pretty and the price is moderate. I enjoyed my dinner at this buffet although it may not be my favorite (Happy Rose) and do recommend it. read more

Ive been coming here for years with my mother and the quality of the food has slowly downgraded to crap Everytime I come here there chicken wings are nasty and dry There orange jello smells like it was made in a toilet with baby wipes Worst part is that my mother was consuming a cookie while at the register and the lady snatched it out of my mothers mouth while preceding to yell at her in Chinese read more

This place was OK, kind of middle of the road as far as Chinese style buffets go. Overall the food selection was great, would have liked a little more seafood, but I assume that was a weekend thing. They have hibachi and a sushi bar. I would come back as the food was hot well stocked and tasted well enough. Everything was clean and the restaurant staff was attentive, friendly and seemed to really enjoy their work. This is a good place to go if you are hungry and want a no fuss meal. read more

Disappointed!! My son found a chunk of a plastic bowl inside his jello that he had for dessert and the management completely disregarded the situation and tried offering a free drink to my son to cover it up.she asked us if he swallowed it or did it just go into his mouth.let me set the scene there were 7 of us and they suggested to take 2.00$ off of a 100.00$ bill. We will never patronize this This establishment again..I never wanted a discount or a free meal nor was I upset l,until she so kindly suggested to help us out and remove a drink from the bill. read more
