As far as service goes here, I've never really had anything negative to say. They always make sure your drink is filled and that there isn't too much clutter of plates on your table. The food is almost always very fresh but there's times where it's not super hot and they take longer to get a fresh batch out. As far as ambiance goes, it's pretty nice but could definitely use some renovations in areas like the fountain they have at the entrance, the doors of the entrance themselves and maybe the carpets too...besides those things, I think it's very nice in there! Lastly...the food. Like I said, it's not always fresh and there's things I just look at and know I should probably avoid but that could just be a me thing not wanting to try those particular things. Was in town for a gaming tournament and surprised to stumble across this Asian/Chinese buffet that advertised sushi and hibachi. It was a Sunday early afternoon lunch and the place was moderately busy. I ordered a water and service was quick and no frills. Food variety/selection was excellent and nothing that I wanted to try was empty/awaiting refill. I had multiple pieces of sushi and there were many fish and seafood hot dish options as well. I came here because my wife was scouring for a buffet place ever since COVID, of course many buffet places are going extinct which is a blooming shame. Amazingly she found this place in Jackson. We pursued this proverbial dodo and had to check it out. They handled the safety measures for eat here very well. They require masks and provide gloves to wear whenever you approach the buffet lines and you can remove your masks at your table to eat. It's a typical buffet place, selections were many but as vegans there wasn't much to choose from other than potatoes, rice, Lo Mein noodles, veggie sushi rolls, green beans, spring rolls, fries, salad, and fruit. I wondered if they had any tofu dishes...so I asked the waitress who was very kind if it was possible to get a tofu with mixed vegetable dish because we were vegan. She said they could make it and went to the chef and after a few minutes brought out the dish we requested. Now that's service! It made this place worth while and definitely worth coming again. Although with the CoViD measures preventing from dining in, I hope this will not be the last time that we can dine here. read more

Went after the first reopening, there were lots of protective items, free gloves, masks available for purchase at a very reasonable $0.50. Staff wore gloves, face masks and face shields and were diligent in cleaning surfaces. Other patrons did not necessarily follow the posted rules. The buffet overall was cheap, mostly a cheap way to get full. The sushi was below average, the sushi bar was poorly stocked and much of it was filled with rice and cucumber, as expected at this price point and locale. The food in general was very heavy and greasy, and didn't provide much in the way of more fresher foods like steamed vegetables... most buffet items were fried items. Individual portion size ice cream was a nice touch, the orange sherbet is my favourite. I think most patrons know what to expect here. read more

Sleazy bissness! Management/staff trying to charge for everything they can. My youngest child was throwing an attitude and refused to eat the food in front of him, and they wanted to charge me to take it home on top of charging me the buffet cost for him. And then they have the greed to charge gratuity (unposted) on top of my $100 cost to take my family out to eat. Management claims it's for the server to clean extra plates off the table and wipe it off after we leave. If you don't like what you see you can do the hibachi aspect and fill a bowl and they will cook it in front of you just like Mongolia bbq. Top quality for a China buffet. Today, we went to eat with the kids. Expecting the establishment to abide by COVID guidelines. From the start the dishes presented at the buffet were dirty with old food crusted from not being properly rinsed before/after dishwasher run. The pizza was stuck to the pan and the prices were outrageous. From the get go the staff treated me more of a burden than a customer and did not even bother to get me drinks. The servers called me a liar to my face about my children's ages and tried to charge me full price for adult for my 10 year old niece. Then proceeded by slamming my receipt on the table and touching my hand guiding me, physically with her unwashed sticky wet hands pushing for a higher tip. That is less than 6 feet apart and her face was right by my ear. Right before we left they were speaking half chinese half English looking at our table calling us names and laughing. I haven't been to a buffet where I wanna try everything I like to eat, some foods here that I normally would eat I don't eat here because it looks like it's been sitting out for awhile and not fresh. Okay Top Reasons Not to Eat Here: Hibachi Sucks, the chef was angry and rude as F. He did not season anything nor did he cut up the nasty steak into edible pieces. He fried the egg for the fried rice and left it in huge pieces on the disgusting rice (not edible and crispy tasting) Most rude person I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Sometimes it's amazing sometimes it's not so good. Depends on cook and server. I love sushi. Most times it's fresh sometimes it's so bad. I have never got a bad dinner from grill. It is always so tastie. I truly love fried rice with yum yum sauce. They have around 4 cooks that really know what there doing. John is my favorite I eat here couple times month always tons of left overs. I usually order filet & salmon. The only bad thing that frustrates me is the cheap styrofoam containers for left overs. Once I went and my granddaughter didn't eat a drop so I had to put a whole meal in as I was picking it up it flipped in my Michael Kohrs purse( my favorite present ever). The server seen what happen walked away never offering to help not to mention a 20 dollar meal gone distorting everything Ughhhh it's been couple months and yes I've went back but I'm still sour about it.
