If possible, they would not even get 1 star. Whoever said the best place to eat is here is definitely full of it. One of the main reasons why i am so disappointed with this place is that it is quite expensive for a place that doesnt turn the AC on. If you are seated by the salad bar, prepare to sweat like a darn pig and get frustrated by the heat. I couldnt enjoy my meal or the whole experience because it was too hot to just sit there. Churrasqueria is not meant to be overcooked and dry. And the side dishes provided are 100%mexican. There is no brazilian food to be expected from here with the exception of picaña. Some of the best meats we have ever tasted. Our favorite was most definitely picanha, it just melts in your mouth with heavenly taste. The buffet is well stocked with delicious salads. Our favorite was grilled green peppers with some kind of dressing and tuna salad. We also kept the margaritas going, and they were fantastic, not watered down BS they serve as tourist traps. The place was packed on Monday night in stark contrast with 99% of restaurants I n Ensenada that are all completely empty. I guess locals figured this one out. I think it's a really great price specially for what you're getting. The service is great and the place looks classy enough. However, the 1 star deduction is for a fact that they don't tell you what's included and what's not. The Brazilian meat is great, as well as the salad bar that has more than what you'd wanna eat. For $10 a person, what more could you possibly ask for? But like whay I've said, they don't tell you that if you ask for a drink refill, it's a separate charge. If you see the dessert cart moving around, it's an extra charge. But they don't tell you until your bill arrives. I mean, it's not alot but perhaps it would be nice to atleast have a headsup that it's going to be an additional charge. Otherwise, everything is really great. read more

Awesome variety of meats and great price for what you get. Drinks aren't included in the price but it's still an awesome deal. We had carne adobada, tripas, shrimp, pork ribs, the pichana, and a couple others I don't remember. The buffet spread is awesome too and it has a Mexican flare to it including guacamole and mole! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great sit down restaurant experience in Ensenada. The front desk also helped us out even though we missed our names called because we went to drink next door, and on Valentine's Day with a looooonnng line of people waiting for a seat, which to me was exemplary service. Mr. Pampas is a really really good family restaurant! It's also fun for adults like me! People come and give you meat instead of ordering food and having your order take so long! This shouldn't be called an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse in the first place, nothing in the salad bar or the meat cuts reminded me of what you get on an actual Churrascaria in Brazil or even in the USA. The meat cuts were mostly dry, overcooked and over-seasoned. I felt like I was being served leftovers, telling from the short amount of meat that came in each of the skewers. If you want the prime cuts, you must complain and specifically request them the way you like it. Even doing so, the "picaña" was just OK at best. The caipirinha was not prepared at my table (as promised in the menu) and seemed just too watery. To complete the experience I ordered Coca-Cola, which came at a disgusting room temperature. All that said, it's not a complete waste of time and money if you set the proper expectations. The price was 310 pesos for men (about $15) and 295 for women, which is quite inexpensive for an all you can eat steakhouse. read more

The only thing decent about this place is the price, Monday thru Friday after 7 pm you get a discount. The service, however, is lacking, bad. The place was almost empty and, we had trouble flagging down a waiter for drinks. They say you can ask for any of their meats to be more cooked and they'll go to the kitchen, cook it and bring it back to ur table. Asked 3 different people, all said they would b right back, never did! On top of that some meat smelled funky af. My bf almost puked on one occasion. We also saw many people take things from the buffet with their hands, come on people, have some common decency. There are far more better dining options in Ensenada. This place gets a lot of attention because it's a buffet that serves Brazilian style grilled meats. The service there is pretty good albeit a super busy restaurant. The actual selection of accompaniments is reasonable. They keto the buffet table stocked and fresh. The meat isn't of the best quality but guess I didn't expect it would be. Their meat is great and the service is impeccable! Better than some of the steak houses we have in Portland. The buffet bar is well stocked and offers a variety of food to compliment the meat. We have visited this restaurant twice. Both times the food was very tasty. There's always lots of people and the food on the buffet bar disappears quickly, but the waiters try their best to keep up. Drinks are good too and price is reasonable. My only complaint was that I wanted crepes for desert and the portable stove wasn't working.
