Great cuts of meats
Val G.

Wow, the food here is amazing. The cuts of beef were so good. I am not typically a buffet AYCE type of guy but everything here was so good. Which is typically my problem, I eat too much. I will say they had a shredded cheese covered plantain and it was so damn good. They have plenty of desserts at the bar that are included in the price of the meal but anything they bring to your table [except for the meats] is an adder. Our coffee's at the end and my coworkers Cokes were all added to the bill. The one thing I wish they would do was label what is at the bar. So heck ya, if I am ever in the area I would definitely come again.

The service and ambiance was up to par I guess a good place to go if you have something to celebrate, minus the food ‍. The food and salad bar are questionable, corn was not cooked well, cheese was hard as a rock, desserts were hard nothing was tasty. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're used to an authentic Brazilian restaurant. The meat they advertised was not served, and the meats that served was not pleasant, the meat tasted as if it was cooked over a propane grill which you can taste when you try the meat. The shrimp still had the shell on and the digestive tract was still present. The only thing that was tasteful was the garlic bread and their natural lemonade. Save your time and taste buds on this place.

First, we checked in with the hostess & although we did not have any reservation, they sat us down right away for a party of 2. They were busy because it was graduation season. They had a good selection of food for their buffet/salad bar and seemed to be always refilled. Drinks were extra but not bad. The quality of food was good for a decent price. Usually all you can eat Brazilian grills / churrascos are about $45-80 in LA but they were only about ~$20 here! Amazing! Just hope they were more attentive with the meats going around tho. We had to wait a little for the first meat to come to us. I liked their picanha, sirloin and Trompo Chicharrón de Rib Eye. Other meats were a little dry. It helps that you can also request for other cuts/meats that you would like. I love grilled pineapple with cinnamon but from Mr. Pampas, I thought that they overcoat it with cinnamon so it was a little overpowering to my liking as they very thinly cut the pineapple. Overall, I liked my experience for the price I paid for. I think it was still worth it!

Really amasing value and food, especially on Monday and Thursday evenings afte 7pm. Huge salad bar and meat selection Amazing price Good quality food and most meats. Some meats are too fatty and chewy. Know what you want! Good service, plenty of parking Very close to center of Ensenada

Visiting Ensenada is generally about the seafood, but don't sleep on an opportunity to visit this steakhouse. The service was incredible and the salad bar was always fully stocked, with a wide variety of salads and appetizers. Finally, onto the main star of the show; there are a multitude of waiters zipping by at your call, with various cuts and styles of marinated of pork, beef, lamb, shrimp, chorizo, sausages, you name it! Oh, and don't sleep on the garlic bread, it's addicting!

Ok, so you probably don't think of Brazilian BBQ when visiting Ensenada, Mexico but it's worth trying after you've had your fill of local specialties such as tacos and ceviche. Ensenada has most of the major international foods at great new restaurants so it may be time to try new things so off we went. We heard it was expensive but for males it was around $17 and $15.50 for females. All of us considered this a good deal for all you get-but you want to come hungry! They have a cool sign that spins to No when you don't want the meat servers to come by or Yes when you are ready for meat. We started at the massive salad bar. There was really everything from soup to nuts-well, sunflower seeds for your salads. You can get just the buffet for less money-a deal to me since it has enough for a full meal; it has salads, soups, sushi, seafood salads, some meat dishes, and some desserts like rice pudding (really good) with cinnamon, fruits-the watermelon was very good, and a few others. The fideo de pollo soup was so good I could eat this alone for lunch with bread or a small salad. There was one pasta salad that was a bit warm-so we just skipped it. I'm not sure what qualifies a place as a Brazilian BBQ but the meat is grilled to a delicious caramelized brown with tasty char marks. They have maybe 50 different meats that they alternate (see list on sign in photos). We saw approximately 20 different ones (2 per server on a double spit) and we tried most of them in our group. The nice thing is that you can ask for just a small amount to try before then get your favorites afterward. We had to top it off with a small bowl of rice pudding and watermelon. We had more than enough to eat and felt satisfied by all the different tastes. The servers were wonderful and helpful, explaining the different meats. Though having a bit of Spanish really helps but you can tell pretty easily the chicken, chorizo, beef and pork. The only meat none of us had here was tripe (tripa) and tongue (lengua) even though we all had those in tacos. I highly recommend trying Mr. Pampas. It has so many items to try that it is a good deal. Service is great and the ambiance is nice.

The meats that they carve or offer at the table were all delicious. I was very pleased that each one offered their own characteristics with textures and flavors. I do have to admit that there were favorites among the parade of grilled meats. The picanha steak cut or sirloin cap was not only well seasoned, tender, and juicy, but also grilled to a nice medium or a beautiful pink. The grilled tri-tip was great too, and the Parmesan cheese crusted chicken thighs were very tasty and tender. Other stand outs were the bacon wrapped beef and chicken, the Berkshire pork (pernil) served with a lime wedge, and the linguica or traditional Brazilian sausage. Honestly, all the meats were quite tasty. The offerings at the salad bar were quite impressive, too. If you do just the salad bar when you visit, I think you will be very satisfied. The fresh mozzarella salad was wonderful and came with fresh pearl mozzarella balls. I was very impressed with the cucumber tomatoes salad, and the Rodizio BLT Salad. The salad bar also offered many other items like ceviche, a variety of salads, breads, cold cuts and cheese, and fruits. If you are not a huge meat eater, the salad bar is just right for you. Hospitality was great from the minute we walked in. "Jon" not only provided hospitality with a great sense of humor, but also efficient service. In fact, all the gents who provided the proteins at the table were in good spirits and friendly. I like that this Brazilian Steak House offers plenty of free parking, unlike others downtown, San Diego, and it is priced at a more reasonable price.

Plenty of parking and a great set up. We were quickly seated and Taylor, our waitress greeted us…read more We had reservations. Taylor explained the process and we were off to the salad bar. They had many salads, breads, pastas, etc. I recommend a light salad (so you don't fill up) and then whatever sides you would typically eat with steak (e.g., mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and/or a roll). Your green and red marker is placed with the green up when you are open for meats. The team comes around with bacon wrapped steak, different steak options, ham, fish, bacon wrapped chicken, spicy chicken, grilled pineapple and the like. A few tips, just because you get an option, you don't need to eat it. Don't be wasteful, but don't eat what you don't like. It's not a sprint so slowly get more food and note your favorites and leave room for those. You can tell the servers what you like and they will come by when they have that option available. You can easily eat too much here. It's not worth the pain. Stop before you get to that spot. It's about $55 for dinner with meat. Think of what you would pay for at a steak house, about $55 for steak and sides. Drinks (the pina colada was a cool presentation) are extra and so are deserts from the dessert tray (again, like a steak house) Alex was a great server and helped share what the more popular cuts are. Taylor was a great waitress too. Cool art on the walls and an occasional loud birthday song in Portuguese with a drum and tambourine to be careful if you are sensitive to loud noises. A great experience on the pricier side but worth at least one trip for the experience.

They also have cocktails and margaritas but I decided not to get alcoholic drinks this time around. The dessert section is huge. Each dessert is a bite-sized portion so you can try a little bit of everything! And of course the meats! I loved the beef, pork and the sausages that I got. For some reason, all the chicken ones didn't really hit the spot for me. They weren't bad though. The grilled shrimps were particularly juicy and good.

Parking here is no problem, they have a sizable lot, as well as valet parking. The place is pretty big, clean, and nicely decorated. One we got our table, we went to the salad bar area and got a plate of whatever items were going to complement our choices of meat. At the table, we got a tab where green meant we wanted to be offered a cut of meat, and red meant stop. I mainly went for the lean beef and chicken cuts. The meat options were tasty, and the variety at the salad bar was pretty good. At the tail end of dinner, we were offered cinnamon flavored pineapple, which is one of my favorites. This Brazilian steakhouse is on point. The staff here was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The meal was as satisfying as the experience here. I recommend it.

With over 20-years of experience, they do things well...done. Keep in mind, Mexico is a place that likes their meat well-done, which makes an American tourist, like me, sad. I'd give them a zero or negative if I could, but unfortunately that's not possible. Reasons for the one star: After we've finished our dinner, a young man came to take payment.
