The egg rolls were actually very good sometimes they're not but here actually very good

Do you like Curry ? I love Curry any of the colors yellow red green ! Today here at Mr. noodle I had the green curry. This was my first time here. I was in the neighborhood and thought I would walk in and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The green chicken curry with eggplant blew my mind. My server Nicole she is so excited about the way they prepare their Curry she emphasized to have a good curry sauce you must use Thai chili paste. Her service was amazing. I've had Curry from all over the place and this Curry was absolutely the best of all the curries I've had a chance to taste.

Tasty food, generous portions, good prices & good service! Went with my friend for dinner. We were greeted, seated & given menus quickly even though they were busy. We ordered fried rice with chinese sausage and chicken pad thai. These are shareable portions. Notes: It's walking distance from UCLA. Casual atmosphere and family friendly.

Mr. Noodle never disappoints! The food here is always delicious, but yesterday (10/16/25) was truly one of the best meals I've had. My favorite dish is the Chicken Pad See Ew and it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and had that perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. The noodles were just the right texture, and the chicken was tender and tasty. Their presentation is also impressive, everything comes out looking fresh and appetizing, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they put care and pride into every plate. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm craving Thai food! My friend ordered the spicy eggplant with chicken and she also loved it! They are located in Westwood so it's very convenient for UCLA staff and students. Service is friendly and everyone is attentive. The restaurant is cool and relaxing. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area.

So good! We went on a Saturday night and the weight was actually less than 20 minutes! The food was really good and they even give you bibs in case you splatter some soup/sauce on your shirt. I love the lighting in here and it's very cool to see them making the noodles behind the glass.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at all. We ordered the khao soi, pad Thai, and chicken satay. Food was pretty standard but tasty. I really enjoyed the khao soi which is one of my favorite Thai dishes but not that many places offer it on their menu. The pad thai was a bit different than what I'm used to since they used skinny noodles. It looked really wet when it first came out but it was surprisingly pretty good. I ordered the chicken satay for my son and he enjoyed it. The prices here were reasonable considering it's in Westwood. We sat outside but didn't realize there would be so many people standing around waiting for Diddy Riese next door. The reason for the 3 stars is that I was extremely thirsty later on that day and this was the only meal I had all day.

On-call life had me hungry, and someone pointed me to this spot near my hotel. Parking's a little chaotic around UCLA (no surprise there), but once you get inside, you forget about it real quick. The crew here is super friendly--felt like I was a regular the second I walked in. I went for the fresh shrimp wrap and the spicy eggplant with rice. Both hit the spot--fresh, flavorful, and portions that don't leave you hungry. Big fan already. Next time, I'm definitely diving into their noodle dishes.

Came here for lunch because it's walking distance from work. The service is quick and because they get busy and it can get loud inside during the lunch hour, you have to be more persistent to get their attention. Food is tasty. Highly recommend the beef salad. It kept me full and satisfied all day!

We came to visit our daughter at UCLA and was pleasantly impressed by Mr. Noodle. I guess we didn't expect an authentic Thai meal given the restaurant name. We were happy the staff welcomed us in Thai once they learned we were Thai too and gave us their recommendations from their extensive menu. We really enjoyed the boat noodle soup, penang and pad see ew. Good size portions. The service was quick and attentive and friendly. The place was pretty large and could seat large parties. Bright and airy ambiance. We look forward to visiting again when we're in town!

I've been here a couple of times and I loved it! I brought my mom and we think we just found a new spot. The service was great, they were very attentive to detail and we got a warm welcome. Great spot that has a variety of Thai dishes for a casual dining experience! Food comes out quickly and very fresh! We loved every dish we tried and it was shared well amongst 3 people. Seated fairly fast for a Friday night around 6pm. It has the feeling of being run by a family, everyone is friendly and you never feel rushed. Parking is street only with paid meters or lots nearby. Always a great time at Mr Noodle!

Veggie Singapore Noodles with tofu. Ask spicy!

Came here after a long training run. My first time here, and this place delivered what I needed! Deliciously spicy veggie & tofu & noodles (I always ask to make sure - "spicy". Iced Coffee. Everyone else was happy too. The soup was rated highly - perfect appetizer after a serious workout. PARKING street parking available everywhere on a Sunday. Free meters. SERVICE The place was pretty full, but there was one 3-top for us. Our server was super helpful and came back to check on us a couple of times. They brought out little fried noodles which I demolished in seconds . They brought more. FOOD Many things can be vegetarian made. It's a mixed kitchen, and I'm not sure about vegan seriousness, but it's a small kitchen with attention to details. Everything came out hot and close together - even though we all had special requests tied to our orders. Portion was big. It's probably enough for two meals (if I didn't have the long run). Even still, I couldn't finish. Ice coffee drinks came first. They are big, but "specialty" and creamy more than coffee flavor. BATHROOMS Clean The restaurant's office is up a very tight, small spiral stairwell. It's crazy to watch staff scaling it to get supplies.

This place is a small and cozy restaurant located across the street from UCLA in the Westwood area! The menu had a large variety of Thai food. The price was great I had shrimp fried rice and shrimp wontons for less than $40. There is a parking structure near by I advise parking there is little to no cost depending on the time of the day. Great place to have a great meal while in the area portions are shareable. Service was relatively quick and the staff was friendly and accommodating! Every had great flavors and so delicious! 10/10 I highly recommend.

Pad Lee Mau (Drunken Noodles) with Tofu
    Lily V.

This place has been in Westwood for such a long time and I remember coming here as an undergraduate. They used to have very good lunch deals and specials at student price range! Their menu changed time to time, therefore I'd suggest checking the online takeout menu for up to date prices and specials. My team decided to revisit here for lunch, we arrived around 11:40, before lunch rush. It was really hot outside that day (roughly over 100), and inside they had a fan on which we sat next to. As we got seated we were given menus right away, then a staff came and gave us water and side salad with ranch. Another Sara's came a little later to take our order. We ordered different dishes: drunken noodles with tofu, chicken green curry, chicken Panamg curry, and beef garlic and pepper. I usually get pad Thai but wanted to try something new (but not spicy). Drunken noodles came out first, I realized that most of the first dishes out of the kitchen for tables were noodles. Then the rest of the dishes came. We enjoyed the food and even had leftovers to take home. The drunken noodles was good, not too spicy and could've added more spice according to my teammate. They had chili paste and sauce in containers if you need more spice, which she used. Both of the Curry dishes were spicy for me but they were very flavorful especially the green one. The beef garlic and pepper was ok, it came with rice, broccoli and cabbage, but it tasted just fine and homemade. I may want to order something different next time. They have a restroom (unisex), in the back next to a staircase.

Marugame Monzo's sauce, however, is the opposite of Menchirashi's. The sauce is SUPER flavorful with a rich, creamy mouthfeel and a strong umami flavor from the bacon and miso. I added mentaiko since I did the same at Menchirashi and honestly, everything was fantastic. The udon itself is pretty much exactly like fresh udon in Japan. Perfectly bouncy, chewy, and satisfying. Staff were also wonderful and service was insanely fast. We probably waited less than 10 minutes for both our udon and tempura, and they consistently checked in to make sure everything was good. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu, especially the uni cream udon. The only thing I didn't like was the shrimp tempura since it had a lot of batter and not a ton of shrimp, so it was on the greasy side. I did enjoy the soft boiled egg tempura though. The yolk exploded into the udon and somehow made the whole bowl even better hehe. There are plenty of tables inside with limited bar seating. If you're a 2 top you might be sharing a table real close with some neighbors (they put a divider). If there's a wait, write your name down on the clipboard outside!

I have tried different cream udon dishes here - the famous sea urchin cream udon, the carbonara udon, the mentai cream udon, the butter squid udon, etc... My fav would definitely be the mentai cream udon, as you get lots of yummy seafood (shrimps and scallops) in the sauce. The butter squid cream udon is also really good as well!! I like to pair my cream udon with a side of chicken karage!! I really like the batter that they use for the chicken! It's crunchy and airy and very well seasoned!! Service has always been amazing! There is sometimes street parking but the availability is rough, it's tough to park, and even one of the meters we ended up at just didn't work. They only charge a $5 cash service charge though, which isn't bad. We were lucky to be seated right away, even in a packed restaurant. The restaurant has a surprisingly modern design, and is comfortable for as small as it is. We were quickly served their signature kimchis and barley rice. The kimchi, particularly the yeolmu (young summer radish) kimchi, has a unique flavor profile well suited to their food. We ordered 2 bowls of their plain kalgooksu, 1 bibim milmyun, and 1 tteokbokki. The food came out fairly quickly. The kalgooksu was as expected the star of the show. The anchovy broth brings a savory complexity that seems impossible for a soup made from just dried fish and a few other ingredients. It even has a rich, almost thick, quality to it that is surprising for a fish broth. Their noodles, the titular kalgooksu, have the signature irregularity and chew of knife cut noodles. I appreciate the vegetables that always come in kalgooksu, like potato, pumpkin, and zucchini, which offer an earthy heartiness to the light soup. My only complaint is that the potato is in huge irregular chunks, and is barely cooked, though I feel like I have had this issue with many of the kalgooksu bowls I've had over the years. The bibim milmyun was solid. I think that I prefer the texture and flavor of naengmyeon buckwheat noodles, but the milmyun, which are made with mostly wheat flour, still provide a satisfying chew. The sauce tasted bright and fresh, especially with a splash of added vinegar. It also came with a small side portion of spicy pork and some rice paper to wrap. The tteokbokki was the one let down of the meal. To be fair, I wasn't expecting much out of tteokbokki at all restaurant like this whose specialty is essentially the opposite. I ordered the tteokbokki as a "safe pick" for a picky eater in the group. It turned out to be a bit mediocre in our opinion, and that friend ended up enjoying their kalgooksu anyways. If you're looking to try this dish, it's definitely one of if not the best I've had in Southern California, so I'd totally recommend it. I'll also warn to steer clear of the Garden Grove restaurant of the same name and specialty. I think it's a disappointing mimicry of this place.

It's been sitting on my saved list for a while, and honestly, this turned out to be the perfect opportunity. The space itself is bright, clean, and welcoming with warm woody tones throughout. Casual setup where you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. I had already looked through the menu beforehand, so the real challenge was narrowing down what to order for one person. I failed at that... and I'm very happy I did. Started with the Pig Ear Salad 滷豬耳朵. Braised thin sliced pig ears dressed with soy sauce, chili oil, sesame oil, scallion, and cilantro. OMG. So good. Tender, flavorful, perfectly braised, with that satisfying chewy texture done right. Also got the Fried Peanut Salad 五味花生 with garlic, cilantro, scallions, vinegar, and Thai chili. Super crunchy, bright, refreshing, and honestly addicting. I added a cup of the Hot & Sour Soup 酸辣湯 too. Organic tofu, beech mushroom, carrot, bamboo, woodear mushroom, and egg. Super comforting with a really balanced tang and peppery heat. Not overly thick or heavy like a lot of Americanized versions can be. Exactly the kind of soup you want during a long travel day. For noodles, I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles 擔擔麵. Sesame-peanut sauce, cucumber, cilantro, crushed peanuts. Delicious on its own already, but I ended up adding some of the fried peanuts from the salad into the noodles and it became even better. Then the Three Cup Chicken 三杯雞 with sesame oil, soy sauce, rice wine, and Thai basil. I do wish it had a little more wok hei, but overall the flavor was still really comforting and savory. Extremely good with rice. Had a glass of Gewürztraminer alongside everything, which paired surprisingly well with the spice and aromatics. Their wine list leans more organic / natural wine focused, which felt very LA in a good way. Ended up sitting at a high top next to one of the managers and had a great conversation throughout the meal. She ended up hooking me up with the Traditional Shaved Ice 傳統刨冰 with grass jelly, red bean, boba, sweet potato balls, taro balls, brown sugar syrup, and condensed milk. I was already planning to order it anyway, and wow... I finished the entire thing. The brown sugar syrup was incredibly fragrant.
