    Pad See ew
    Adrian M.

Came in Saturday night after the rush, no one else here when we arrived. Got pumpkin curry which was mostly liquid and lacking more veggies, hardly any pumpkin. The Pad see ew was decent. They play radio station music with commercials which are annoying to hear. After we finished it took a while to get our check as our server was busy tending two new customers who came in.

Love this cute place. Food is authentic. The staff is nice and friendly. Parking space is limited.

Thai food cravings definitely satisfied! Went with a few friends on a late Thursday afternoon. The interior was really cute and cozy but also really small. However, they did have outdoor seating! There was only like one parking spot available in front of the business, so you can try parking at Sprouts but you didn't hear it from me What we got: - Pad see ew, which was a decent portion size for $15. Good ratio of veggies to protein! - Yellow curry was creamy and savory! Comes with a serving of rice for $15 - Panang curry had some kick to it and was creamy and super flavorful! It had a lot of beef chunks as well, which I appreciated. Also comes with a serving of rice for $15 Overall, this restaurant is a solid choice for Thai food with reasonable prices. Our server was attentive and nice as well :) I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

We wish we could give this lovely spot over 5 stars! Our server was incredibly kind, warm and so sweet! We ordered a Thai tea with almond milk, house fried rice, pineapple fried rice, crying tiger, pad see ew, tom yum soup, and mango sticky rice! Every single dish was so flavorful, delicious, and comforting!! We ordered 6 dishes and a drink for 3 people. Took home leftovers and our total was only ~$ 109 before tipping which was such a good deal considering how yummy and well portioned everything was! The food is truly INCREDIBLE. Such a gem of an experience dining here. We will be back to try their many other dishes!! Thank you Thai Fresh!

    Pork Toro a La Carte

Food was amazing! Everything I ordered was full of flavor, fresh and felt light. Most of the dishes were to share between 6 and everyone loved it. The price was great for the portions served. The highlights were the pork toro & the spicy beef salad.

I had the Pad-See-Ew (flat rice noodles stir-fried with egg in sweet soy sauce and Chinese broccoli), which was delicious. Their Thai iced tea is also refreshing. The service is friendly, and it appears family-owned. Prices are super reasonable. Although the restaurant is small, with only about 4-5 tables inside and a couple of tables outside, and the parking lot is tiny with limited spaces, it's worth the visit. The name "Fresh" is well represented by the food quality. Despite not living near Westwood, I'll be coming back again whenever I'm in the area.

    Pad Kee Mao

I've been craving Thai food for awhile, so I really wanted to check this place out! My friend and I ordered the pad kee mao, yellow curry, and mango sticky rice. The pad kee mao was good but nothing special :oo the yellow curry was sweet and good, but I feel that they could've had more chicken or vegetables in it. Mango sticky rice was good!! Mangoes were ripe and rice was good amount of sweet. Good portions. The atmosphere is nice; slightly dark inside but it was nice to eat in. The service.. was not great. When my friend and I walked in and asked for a table of two, the waitress took awhile even though there were open tables and moved slowly as if she didn't want us to sit. She was a bit rude when I had a small question and rushed us towards the end even though there was no one waiting on us and it was not closing time yet. My friend and I always felt awkward when she was around. /: never smiled and felt like we weren't welcomed. Not sure if I'll come back because of that alone

Yellow Curry Chicken Thai iced tea (Will not be finishing either one) Literally want my money back!
    Samantha A.

I always try to find new places to eat yellow curry chicken! But from here I'm sorry but never again!! It was seriously nothing special at all it almost had no flavor carrots were undercooked potatoes were undercooked oh and rice was overcooked and it was $17! I pay way less then that for the curry and rice at a hole in the wall place and it is SO much better! I could not even finish it and will not be finishing it. There also wasn't much broth I usually have a good amount of broth and even the mushy rice was able to soak up whatever broth I did have. And the Thai iced tea was not the best..like how do you even mess up Thai iced tea up!! I Literally want my money back!! Out total was $70 cause we did get beef fried rice for my daughter and we pay less than $50 at the other place for more food and better tasting!

If you remove all the inedible parts from the seafood soup, there's almost nothing left--just two shrimp and two octopus tentacles.
    Vaghinak H.

I was not satisfied. Why can't I order a half-portion? The waitress told me that even if she brings me a half-portion, I still have to pay for the full one. Why? And why did she say it in such an unfriendly way, as if I were asking for something completely unreasonable?

DELICIOUS!!!!! I read bad reviews but we had a Great Experience!! :) The delivery was supposed to be in by 9:10pm-9:20pm and they showed up at 8:55pm! I asked for it spicy (x3) so that its Hot (but not too hot) and it was PERFECT!! Sometimes Thai restaurants make it super spicy and sometimes its barely spicy, but Thai Fresh made it Just how my Wife and I Love it!! We will definitely be ordering here every trip we make passing by! Regarding the service, dropping off the order was smooth and the man was polite & friendly :) My Favorite was the Green Curry & my Wife Loved the Yellow Curry. Make sure to get the Spicy Noodles (Pad Kee Mao)!!! The curry comes with complimentary white rice. (It was so tasty that i kept eating and almost forgot to take pictures...)

The sea urchins one is creamy and VERY RICH. The cream sauce bend in really well with the sea urchins. But definitely not something you would order if you are on a weaker stomach. The duck udon is flavorful with plenty of meat. The soup pair perfectly with the udon as well. There was a line outside before it opened. But not too bad. They got a little eating area outside right next to the street and I saw people ate there with their dog as well. I guess that they are "kinda" dog friendly?

They offer Yuzu Shio (salt broth) and Yuzu Shoyu (soy sauce broth) Ramen. I went with Yuzu Shio ($19.50). The yuzu gives it a refreshing/bright taste that really cuts through the fatty broth and pork. Yuzu Limeade ($7) and although I liked the drink because it had a strong yuzu and lime taste, I wouldn't recommend getting it with a yuzu flavored ramen because it takes away the yuzu flavor in the ramen. Got their signature Yuzu Shio which was about $10 (normally $19.50!!), as well as their Afuri Roll which the server recommended ($23). The ramen rather had a small portion, but was balanced and pretty good - and the broth was definitely on the lighter tasting side, good for people who wants a cleaner taste. I ended up using chili oil on the side to spice things up. The Afuri Roll wasn't anything special, and a bit on the dry side but it had a nice variety of different fish inside. Overall, considering all the other competitive ramen joints in the area that have a more competitive price/portion/variety, I'm not sure if I'd give this place another go given the price. Great vibes though!

From the very first bite, you could tell everything was made with care. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had that slow-cooked taste that keeps you coming back for another spoonful. The noodles had the perfect texture--not too soft, not too firm--and soaked up every bit of flavor. Every bite was comforting and packed with quality. What really stood out was how well everything came together. The meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor, while the fresh herbs and toppings added the perfect balance to every bowl. Nothing felt like an afterthought. You could taste the freshness in every ingredient, and the portions were generous enough to leave you completely satisfied. This is a review only of their happy hour specifically, not of their ramen, which I have not tried…read moreand can't speak to the quality of. I actually became aware of the existence of this restaurant *because* they had a happy hour sign out in front, advertising, among other things, $4 salmon poke "tacos" (which was definitely actually a tostada, but still), and $3 nigori sake to go with it, which sounded pretty bomb - when I passed by the sign on my way to an event at Death & Co nearby, I took note of it but wasn't interested in food. However, when I left that event, an event I thought was going to provide a lot more food than it actually did, I absolutely *was* interested in food, and remembered that the sign advertised not only a traditional happy hour (open until 6 weekdays, 2:30-5:30 Saturday/Sunday), but also the same prices during a reverse happy hour (8 to close weekdays, 9 to close on the weekend). Given it was, at that moment, just after 8 on a Wednesday, I knew exactly where I was going to get the second half of my dinner from. Funny enough, I will say, the salmon poke that drew me in, was just... good. Don't get me wrong, if I were offered them for free, I'd eat at *least* a dozen. They were quite tasty - also like 2 bites worth of food (so eating a dozen of them would not be remotely difficult to do.) Salmon poke is wonderful, but if I wanted poke, I'd go find a poke place - even $4 felt a bit pricey for the size (they're $6 when it isn't happy hour), so I'm glad I decided to also try their karaage. Their karaage is BOMB - some of the best I've had, honestly. $7 for a 4-piece order of their karaage, by contrast, feels like a very reasonable price, and $5 (during happy hour) an absolute steal. Great karaage, great sauce, super fulfilling. The happy hour on karaage would be enough of a draw by itself - but separate from that, so would the $3 happy hour on sake, including both a regular house cold sake and a nigori. As you can see from the picture, they also intentionally overpour their sake, which is not only a very pretty presentation, but also an impressive amount of sake for $3 (heck, for DTLA, a pretty impressive amount of sake even at their normal $5 price). They also have $6 happy hour shochu/sake/juice cocktails that looked pretty good, though I didn't try one. Service was great, too - sometimes you can tell a restaurant is less excited to serve someone who clearly just came in for a drink and a snack, but that was not my experience here. Verdict is, I definitely want to come back and try their ramen sometime, but I would definitely make sure to do it either before or after their prime dinner hour, to take advantage of happy hour pricing. (And I would definitely get more of that karaage as a side. I will probably also make a point to do so as a snack, subsequent to any future events I go to in the area that end around 8 on a weekday, as well, for as long as that happy hour remains such a draw, price-wise.)
