    Papaya salad
    Mimi R.

I've always wanted to try papaya salad because it looks so good. I was expecting it to be a sweet and savory type of flavor but it was not. The papaya didn't have any real flavor like it tasted like nothing and all I could really taste was the heat from the fresh chili in the salad. It came with a few pieces of grilled shrimp however the taste had a strong gas stove flame flavor and smell like they just placed it directly on the flame from a gas stove. Again I have never had papaya salad before so I am not sure if this is how all papaya salads are. It was $15 and I was not able to eat it because it just was not for me. Service was friendly though! I had placed an order online and came in to pick it up.

Been here about 7 times. Last order the Pad See Ew had burnt egg and smelt like burnt egg. Was very dry. Ordering 'yellow curry' from quick menu gave us a single dinner rather than a larger portion to share. My mistake I guess but this last order was so disappointing we will not be back unfortunately.

Amazing customer service, great bang for buck, tastes authentic (coming from an Asian). We've eaten here several times, and will be coming back!

The food is pretty good and the serving size is not that bad! Service is great too! Lots of parking available in the shopping complex.

I tried a chicken rice place today and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was crispy!!!!!, the rice was flavorful, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly

I don't know the people who gave this place a 1 from like 3-4 years ago. Thats what is lowering the score . But let me tell you that I actually eat a lot of Thai food and this place is really good! At fair prices . Clean ! Yes I really check and it is really clean. I will say it isn't a shi shi place but Service was superbwith multiple visits by the server. Food came quick and was very good. I had the spring rolls and they were fresh as excellent . I had the Tom Kha soup and it was amazing . They customized and held the muscles for me . And I had the Drunken noodles ! All very very good large portions and fresh. I highly recommend this place .

Dined here with friends visiting from out of town. Wanted pretty ambiance. Tried more great dishes and service was attentive. Spring rolls - plated beautifully with really fresh ingredients. Pad Thai - fried tofu and consistently chewy noodles. I like the plentiful scallions for texture. Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli - not a fan of pork belly but but my friends loved it. If street level parking is full there's under level parking. Recently tried their Spicy Eggplant with Thai Basil. Not surprisingly, delicious. Enjoy all the sliced red peppers. Gotta try their Drunken Noodles soon!

Who would've thought in such a low scale shopping center one would find such high class food? Yeah, I put that in there so all of my snobby friends would know that this is a restaurant worth visiting. The food was very fresh and tasty, it did not have too much sauce, and did not rely on gimmicks like some other places do. This is a bare-bones, spare ambience sort of place, with good food and decent prices. Service was very good and attentive. Would I come back? I've already been back.

    Drunken noodles- so good!

This is one of those spaces that doesn't look like much but really hits the spot. Drunken noodles were amazing! ------ You come in and there's specials on the walls along with the some Thai art. You look at (the fairly standard) menu, and realize that what most places might have as a lunch special (entree with salad and rice) is offered all day here. You order. They ask if you want your tofu fried and what spice level, which is a nice touch that not all other places do. The food comes out. It's a heaping portion. They also bring out small tray of 4 different hot sauces. That's legit. You thought you couldn't finish the whole portion, but it's so good you eat it all and plan to come back.

The pad Thai is really no good, my wife was super hungry so it did the job but I'd advice you to avoid at all costs (and it's not cheap lol)

Can I bring my own wine? If so, how much is the corkage?

We do not have a liquor license. So unfortunately, we cannot not serve or allow alcohol in our restaurant. Thank you for understanding.

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.
