Tucked away in the Lil Tokyo mall on the 2nd floor above the chaos of the plaza. The restaurant certainly had warm, and inviting ambiance with a relaxing feel, and some contemporary music. The spot was mostly empty when my girlfriend and I arrived for dinner around 5:30pm on a Saturday. We ordered with the host and picked out a table by the window to people watch while we waited for our food. We waited only maybe 10 minutes before the pho, vermicelli, and spring roles were served. Each dish was colorful, had great presentation, and nice portions for the price. The pho we ordered was spicy level hot and did have well done broth and a good amount of sliced steak. The protein was tender, and the veggie toppings added great elements of minty crunch and herbal delight. I enjoyed my combination noodles. The bowl had a good mix of vegetables and a few types of protein ( chicken, pork, fried egg roll, and shrimp ) it was awesome! The spring rolls were terrific as well. Vui Ve is one of our go-to choices for quick, fresh, take-out Vietnamese food. We usually door dash and everything is packed well and separated. The BBH is delicious here. The broth is spicy and full of flavor, and the noodle texture is perfect. The soup is separated from the noodles and toppings for the best at-home experience. My only complaint is the toppings are basic - would love a pork hock and blood cubes. The spring rolls are always VERY fresh and the dipping sauce made in house is perfect. I wish the sauce container was much bigger. We usually get the shrimp! We recently ordered and there was a buy 1 get one deal for these, so great value overall. We recently tried the spicy pho tai and it was so good!! Pho broth can sometimes be on the delicate side but this broth was very robust and flavorful. Very happy with my combination pho delivery. Pho can be tricky for delivery with the noodles which can be gummy if overcooked, and with items like tripe or tendon that aren't great if not hot. But Vui Ve has figured this out to a T. First off, the pho comes in a safe, wide paper bowl with a little plastic tray on top so the soup arrives hot in the bottom portion, and the noodles and meat are on top and can be added in to reheat. The noodles and meat turned out perfectly, which I've almost never experienced with takeout. The broth itself was complex, anise-heavy, and friendly. The meat was quite good quality, especially the wide pieces of chewy, fresh tripe. The meatballs and beef eye round were also great. This takeout was a treat! read more

The creative lemonade type drinks were also good. Service... I guess I give it a four, as for what it was. It was fine. There was a young woman attending to the tables, but you have to order on your way in at a kiosk which annoys me and I think it's totally unnecessary. Ambience... It seems like it should be cuter in there than it is. There's something off about the way the tables are set up and spaced, and the sun in the late afternoon beats down on you through the window and it's brutal if you're sitting in one of those seats. With just a little bit of adjustment, it could be really nice in there. But it's a little past its prime. If you think of this is a really delicious semi-fast food sort of experience, you're going to love it. However, I wasn't a big fan of the peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls. It just didn't do it for me. I was also really looking forward to their unique banana iced coffee, but unfortunately, the banana flavor tasted a bit artificial and didn't live up to the hype. Went here for lunch several weeks ago with my husband, and we generally enjoyed our dining experience. First off, we didn't even know that there was a pho restaurant in Little Tokyo. The restaurant is actually tucked away on the second floor upstairs near the Gashapon store, which could explain why it was pretty concealed. Before waiting to get seated, you have to select what you want from their menu and pay first. With the recent surge of customers dining and dashing, it's understandable why the staff would implement this payment method. I ordered from this location through Uber Eats and was surprised how much I enjoyed the pho! I've had a hard time finding decent pho spots near Ktown area. I was extremely hungover and in the past I've noticed my hangovers affect my tastebuds and make food taste more bland, so I've had pho many times hungover where it just didn't hit the same way. But this broth actually tasted amazing - now that I'm not hungover and trying the broth again I'm realizing the broth is a bit saltier than I'm used to, but it's absolutely what I needed in the moment. After adding just a tiny bit of water it's perfect. Most times when I get rare steak at pho places, the quality isn't great and it's kind of tough. I was pleasantly surprised that their rare steak was so pillowy and easy to chew! I actually regret getting the brisket add-on because I really didn't need it and the steak was much better. They had very thoughtful packaging for the pho, and even though $10 for a smoothie (probably upcharged due to delivery app pricing) was kind of crazy, I don't regret getting it because it was really good. I am so glad that little Tokyo has a Vietnamese restaurant in the little Tokyo Village! I have been wanting to try this spot for a while, particularly their lunch special, which is a $17 meal which includes an entreé, appetizer, and a drink! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it for lunch hour, but I did make it for dinner. We ordered the spring roll, sampler, the beef brisket pho, and the pho with beef bone. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the spring sampler which had delicious fresh veggies inside pork, chicken, and shrimp spring rolls with a side of peanut sauce. The pho soup had a generous portion of meat and a flavorful broth. The broth was a touch salty so I would ask next time for the broth to be less salted. The only other reason this place didn't get that 5th star is because the restaurant smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals and less like the delicious food they were serving. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The fault lies not with the restaurant but with the workers that were unwelcoming and rude. As we were purchasing items, I had to use the bathroom badly. After communicating this to the workers, they simply stated "you can't use the bathroom until you purchase something" despite the fact that we were in the middle of purchasing something, and they kept repeating this our whole visit despite being obviously paying customers. When their kiosk did not have wifi, they still insisted on keeping the code from us until we placed an order. We were in the middle of buying something! Despite knowing my bathroom situation, they were on some sort of power trip and kept the code from us until the transaction was processed. Maybe they would rather I had went to the bathroom all over their floor in the restaurant, because we did everything we needed to. The workers today should be taught the distinction between a customer and a non-customer, because their current understanding is not gonna help your business any time soon. It does have good flavor and spicy... do need more shrimp paste though. Served with round vermicelli. I'm impressed! Many restaurants make mistake to use the same noodles as used in pho. Generous amount of thin slide beef, thin slide Vietnamese sausage, and served with mints, thin slices cabbage, jalapenos and lime. Roll samplers, 3 rolls for $15: Shrimp. Chicken and pork, dipped in peanut sauces. The rolls are pretty big. Braised beef banh mi, $9.95: braised brisket beef with pho flavor, diakon, pickled carrots, cilantro, and jalapenos, dipped with pho broth. I had this the next day at work and heated the banh mi and the broth in our office microwave.Everyone in my office wanted a piece of it. It is a nice twist of vietnamese banh mi and french dip. Evening of 11/20/25. If you're the owner reading this check the schedule to see who was working. Staff and service was rude and terrible. I wanted to sit at the window side table to enjoy the courtyard view which happened to be uncleaned from the prior party. This apparently didn't make the staff too happy because now they actually had to clean the table. There were other tables left un bussed and restaurant was filthy. The restaurant was not busy (only 2 other parties which have already been served) Rows of empty drinks and glasses left on bar countertop. Girl behind the bar/prep area was especially rude.
