I found this place by accident. The food is fairly good, large portions, and the prices are very reasonable. Great customer service, small location, cozy and yet feels very homely. I really enjoyed the food for the price point. You get a lot for your money.

very solid food! delicious and affordable. this place has one of my favorite pad thais in LA. I ordered it through uber eats so I can't speak to service or ambiance but the food is great. thai iced tea is also good!

Order through DoorDash for pick up and was really lucky that I found street parking to go down and grab my food. Got food around 4 and it was a super quick process, they were ready in 10 minutes. They don't have a parking lot. Food was standard but their boba was not very good as it was mushy. Their portions are a bit smaller. Be aware that the curry doesn't come with rice so you'll have to order a side of it

I always pass by here on my way to the gym hungrily always noting to myself that I should stop by (either here or the taco truck that's always parked out front). We ordered the hainan chicken, papaya salad, tom yum soup and pad thai. I can't say that anything in particular stood out to me but everything was good. I think all of the stronger Thai flavors were a little more mild compared to places that you can find in Thai town that are usually unapologetically strong, but everything was tasty! It seems like a stop and go spot that you can just grab a quick bite at and leave. The food comes out fairly quickly and there were plenty of open tables at 5pm on a Wednesday and it seemed like most of their business comes from delivery apps as people were consistently coming in to pick up orders.

AFFORDABLE LUNCH SPECIALS I love Thai food, so when someone on Next Door recommended this place, I took note. Since it's halfway between my place and my friend's in Brentwood, I suggested we try it for lunch. Their lunch specials are $9.95 from 11:30AM-3PM. Plus, it's easy to find free street parking. Although this is a tiny hole-in-the-wall, we had no trouble finding a table. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, which was a lot smaller than I expected. It was okay, but it lacked that spicy kick. The rice was fine, and the salad with peanut sauce was good. My friend thought her Kung Pao chicken was alright. We both ordered Thai Iced Tea ($3.50), which was sweet and delicious. The food was filling, but there were no left overs. While there's nothing special about this place, if you want a cheap, quick, Thai lunch, consider it.

My first time trying Siam Chan. I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken. This dish was very good, however the portion was fairly small compared to other Thai restaurants I've tried. That said, I would give them another try with a different dish.

Got a DoorDash order of the papaya salad and the Kai Kua. I thought the papaya salad was delicious; extremely refreshing and just spicy enough to give it the kick I expect from papaya salad. Was a bit confused me was that half of the to go box was filled with quartered pieces of cabbage. I'm not sure if I was supposed to wrap the papaya salad in it but it didn't pair the best. Forgive my ignorance if that's how it's supposed to be eaten The Kai Kuo was delicious. The flat noodles were the perfect texture of chewy and there was a good amount of beef, bean sprouts, and green onions. I wish there was a bit more flavor but it came with sriracha which it gave it the extra depth I was hoping for. Overall a good experience, and would like to other things on the menu, especially if I can actually go in the restaurant and have the dishes fresh.

Two friends shared a meal with us! Luckily we both ordered !

Visited here recently again for a late night dinner and everything was great! I enjoyed the special seafood soup, it was very delicious. I love the special seafood soup! For such a small restaurant they sure are busy! I can't even count how many people came in and out to pick up an order or order to-go. It was wild! It's a classic local Thai place that hits the spot. The service was fast and the food was flavorful, so I get the hype. I appreciate the hospitality of our server who even packaged our leftovers!

Found another gem! This shoebox 7 table venue has a splendid menu of all the Thai classics! I ordered the spicy vegetable stir fry! (Vegan in the house!). Orders and pick-ups, people waiting, flying in and out! Splendid!

This review is for TAKE OUT. I came in person, placed an order and was told it would be 15 minutes and while I was sitting there I asked about the condiments and was offered to have them added to my order! The loved the vegetarian fresh Summer Rolls with the peanut sauce. This comes in 2 pieces. I could of had 2 more! I took my photo after I ate half of one roll. I also ordered the Larb Kai which I simple adore! The spicy, tangy chili dressing with the ground chicken is heaven! I should of ordered 2 of these! I finished it in just a few minutes! My husband loved his Spicy Noodle with Chicken! He let me have one bite and the flavors were spicy unami good! He also ordered then Panang Curry with a large rice. He told me this curry was very tasty, yet mild, but with the jalepeno and sambal made this perfect! The staff is very polite and efficient. The restaurant interior minimal. There are places to sit down and eat. I am craving more of this delicious food as I finish writing my review.

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.
