Literally the worst Thai food I've ever had. I felt bad but the food was not good. I got a Thai tea which was only decent and the Mongolian beef as pictured was bland, tasted old and also the noodles were so soggy. It was inedible. The meat smelled weird. We literally got a side of rice and crab rangoons only to eat which wasn't even good either. Will not be coming back. That was such a scary experience.

As alluded to above, I didn't think the food was rave worthy (not to say that it was bad though). I ordered my usuals - pad Thai, pad see ew, and (red) curry. All tasted pretty good and better to have in the area than not in my opinion. I only did takeout, so cannot speak for the service or the ambiance.

TS Thai is a small little eatery in Santa Monica. Parking is on the street or in the huge lot right across the street. It is easy to miss so look for the red curtain. Inside is nothing special, but it is very clean and the service is so great, you are happy you walked in. This is a family run business that really got hit by Covid, so they can use more walk ins. It looks like they have a ton of delivery, but we were seated right away at a very nice clean table and waited on like Kings since there was not that many people actually inside. The owner is just wonderful and the food is outstanding. Try their garlic noodles and Pad Thai. Both are great. We also had a wonderful fried rice with chicken and beef and it was so good. They give you a lot of food, and we were able to take some home. The bathrooms are spotless. The prices are really fair. We love it. Give them a try.

Got to go food, the tomyum soup was sour and reminded me of mama noodles! Would be good with rice or noodles added. The spicy Thai noodles were soft and a good consistency and the spicy beef salad had tender cuts of beef , both were a good level of spice for a person who likes spice

Unfortunately, I have to report this isn't the place for Thai food. It's run by a sweet elderly couple. I do think they are Thai, but I can confidently say they do not cook Thai food. I feel Annie Chun's would be more satisfying. The spicy red curry was watery (and not spicy). The beef in the spicy beef salad, was better. I did think their beef portion was the right amount, could have had a better sear. Would have liked a few more pieces of lettuce. My main issue was the dressing was just fish sauce, lacked palm sugar. It was also not spicy. I agreed with their white rice. My most agreeable friend who usually doesn't complain about any restaurant said the food was 'ok.' We parked in structure 9, which is close to this restaurant. 90 minutes free. Santa Monica is a wonderful place to visit while in LA.

Pretty bad, sorry (not really). I got a PostMates deal that's why I figured I'd try this place again after 5 years. The Thai tea is ok(nothing special), but the Pad Thai is bad. It tastes super sour like extra vinegar was put in the noodles. Also there's no green onions, only rice noodle + pad thai sauce + some bean sprouts and chicken... It tastes like a mixture of instant pad Thai sauce you could get in the store + rice noodle that's it. No lime no green onions, it's lacking flavour and very plain yet super sour. Not coming back again, and I felt sorry for whoever paid full price to eat here because it ain't it. read more

They have a great lunch special! I ordered the pad thai lunch special and it was very good! It was so fresh steam was coming from the noodles as I ate, I like that because it's a key indication that they just made it. Also with this lunch special they include steamed rice and a salad with very good dressing. Highly recommend this cozy spot if you decide to eat inside or grab something tasty and fresh. read more

I couldn't tell you if the food was great as I am not very familiar with Thai food. Is right next to the Santa Monica Playhouse and we went over there after a rehearsal. One of the actresses said it wasn't very authentic, that it was okay. The decor was bland, we had to ask for water or anything we needed. Not very friendly. read more

TS Thai is a small little eatery in Santa Monica. Parking is on the street or in the huge lot right across the street. It is easy to miss so look for the red curtain. Inside is nothing special, but it is very clean and the service is so great, you are happy you walked in. This is a family run business that really got hit by Covid, so they can use more walk ins. It looks like they have a ton of delivery, but we were seated right away at a very nice clean table and waited on like Kings since there was not that many people actually inside. The owner is just wonderful and the food is outstanding. Try their garlic noodles and Pad Thai. Both are great. We also had a wonderful fried rice with chicken and beef and it was so good. They give you a lot of food, and we were able to take some home. The bathrooms are spotless. The prices are really fair. We love it. Give them a try. read more

Not my favorite Thai spot at all, but it is very convenient. Service is good, food is mediocre, staff is nice, space is clean. There is a variety on the menu and I do like their Thai iced tea. Went there today. Had the green curry with shrimp and a side of white rice. I thought the green curry sauce was really delicious. The white rice was really good too. I wasn't as crazy about the quality of the shrimp; it was just okay. But I would still go back. I just wouldn't order the shrimp. read more

The most violent case of food poisoning I've ever had in my life. My first mistake was ordering their seafood salad, they clearly do not maintain their seafood at the proper temperatures. If someone reads this from the restaurant, please try and care for your patrons well being. Throw out all your seafood, replace them and maintain them at the appropriate temperatures. read more

I paid $17.95 for Mongolian beef - delivery. Typically from other venues you get so much food that you eat it over two days. I had never eaten at T's Tai and was above average hungry so I opted for the Mongolian beef as I knew from other places you get a large serving. Upon delivery I was shocked at the small serving size, smaller than a lunch special. The food came in a split plastic container; half with Mongolian beef and the other half crispy noodles. I counted five pieces of beef for $17.95. There was one green onion mixed with regular onions which I am not accustomed to. I'm not a glutton, but I definitely had buyer's remorse. I could understand if that was a $7.95 special. But for $17.95 that was a paltry portion not worth the price paid. Lastly, the flavor was bland. That was a one and done for me. read more

This place has won my heart over 10 years ago! I used to work across the street and get this food everyday instead of my restaurants food. You need to be careful with the spice here. It literally had me crawling on the floor asking for help lol!! I get the Pad Thai noodles with beef snd chicken and then I get a Thai tea in case the food is too spicy lol. It's so good though. Easy 5 stars! I love a good mom-and-pop shop that provides a no-hassle experience and good food. We ordered pad thai and pad see-ew (classic!) and they hit the triple-whammy - delicious, quickly prepared, and affordable! It's an easy place to miss, so just look for the red banner awning next to the Santa Monica Playhouse. Super nice customer service and a great spot if you want to support a business in the community and get fantastic food. A nice bonus is that they also use eco-friendly containers. Yellow curry was extremely bland, it said spicy on the menu but I detected 0 spice. The color of it is not the normal shade of yellow as there is not much spice added. Pad thai with chicken was average and I got a piece of chicken that was rubbery/chewy. I got a beef fried rice and a chai tea for 20 . The flavor wasn't there honestly , it was too much onion and the rice tasted bad . Almost forced myself To eat it . And for 20 dollars it was like a 5 dollar serving portion . It was a one and done for me . read more

A Cute, small restaurant in Santa Monica! Food was delicious and made in a timely manner. Very little wait time with an extensive menu and lots of options. I ordered the chow mein and my husband had the red curry. Both dishes were excellent. The restrooms are located outside of the restaurant. This place is not good for groups as its very small and intimate. Plenty of options for Vegetarians and Vegans. Great service. read more

This has been my go to spot for Thai food in Santa Monica for 4 years. This family owned restaurant is so good every time... and fast! I usually call and do pick up. Everything I've tried has been good - noodles, curries, a la carte, mango sticky rice. I do not understand some of these other reviews. People complaining about thin curries clearly haven't eaten a lot of Thai curry. But like I said, everything I've tried has been quite good. read more

I order every Saturday when I work security nearby.. and I dont have a complaint about the food.. the food is damn tasty.. but.. I'm bummed that they NEVER include a napkin.. I always post begging for chopsticks.. Never once have they given me a napkin or a set of chopsticks.. I dont understand why they arent trying to keep a customer saucy face free .. Ordered delivery and got the fried rice. I ordered pork and my hubby got chicken. It was tasty, good portion size. I asked for spicy but it was not, need to note add extra chilies next time. Bonus to them for using eco friendly to-go containers. They were one of the few places open on Christmas Day in our area so we got lucky and it got to us pretty fast. My girlfriend for the yellow curry with tofu and brown rice but you only get a small tub. I would recommend ordering two tubs of rice because one is not enough to cover the curry. Or you will end up with curry soup instead! My pork was slices thin but tender and cooked well. You have the option of white or brown rice as well so you have options. And different protein options plus tofu. So vegetarian options are available. read more

Have only tried their Pineapple Fried Rice for takeout which has been pretty consistent taste wise especially with their unique curry seasoning. But knocking off a star as sometimes ingredients are missing, dish can get very oily, and been noticing that the sizes of some ingredients are cut very big and not cooked/seasoned. Nice staff and fast turnaround so may give it another shot with other items, but as a frequent Thai food supporter, I've had better. read more

Crispy, flavorful, and coated in a Southern Thai curry sauce I hadn't experienced before. Rich, slightly sweet, with a depth that kept me going back for "just one more." For the main, I took the server's recommendation and ordered the Thai beef salad to balance things out. Smart call. The dressing leaned creamier than what I usually expect, but it worked. Bright, flavorful, and layered. I'll be honest, I couldn't quite finish it, but the beef didn't stand a chance. Every last bite. Dessert sealed the deal. The mango sticky rice, now famously known as the Cardi B Mango Sticky Rice, lived up to the hype. Perfectly ripe mango, warm sticky rice, and that coconut sauce tying it all together. Simple, classic, and done right. The space itself tells a story. Walls lined with photos of the owner alongside celebrities from all over. But what stood out more than the photos was the man himself. He made his way around the room, greeting guests, checking in, bringing real warmth to the experience. No hierarchy, no pretense. Everyone gets treated like they belong. Stood by the stand waiting just to discover they had been filing content with an influencer and making their 4/5 orders before actually making ordering for their paying customers. They also place the roti on a counter they wiped with a dirty towel sitting in its own oil before serving it to you. Actual roti itself isn't that good. It's cooked in oil instead of butter. And it's the same oil they've been using all day. You can taste the used oil. Super disappointing.

Stumbled on this small, family-run Thai spot while in Santa Monica and it was an absolute gem. The pad Thai was simple in the best way--perfectly cooked noodles, great balance of flavor, and not overly heavy. You can tell it's made with care. The dining area is spacious, super clean, and has a relaxed, low-key vibe--perfect if you want to actually enjoy your meal without the usual crowds. My friend and I had dinner here tonight. We just loved the atmosphere with sitting amongst other diners shoulder to shoulder. There was no wait for a seat and our order was taken quickly but not rushed. The food was hot and fresh with plenty of great taste. I had the pad phed pha and my friend had the Pad Thai. Ordered delivery; the only good things on the menu are the egg rolls, pad Thai, soup, and...brown rice. We ordered Mongolian beef, was more like Mongolian soup. Orange chicken was just fried bread and sauce. And the dumplings were not good at all. Expected more, won't be ordering from them again :( read more

Padthai or whatever they call is what I always order at a Thai place. It's small, but the food is good. I've been here about 5 or 6 times and this lunch hour was pretty quiet. Anyway, nice employees and really fast service. We had our dishes inside of 5 minutes. Kind of shocking. read more
