I only gave this place 3 stars because the service sucked. I had to ask for everything and the server took forever bringing it even tho there were only 3 tables occupied. If I have to wait forever on a slow day, I'm scared of what it's like on a busy day. It's a cool little restaurant tho with open indoor-outdoor type seating. The food was delicious. The tea was great as well. Would I try this place again? Maybe, but I will try another spot first.

I used to love coming here on my 30-minute breaks when I worked in the area. The food is always hot and comes out fast, perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. I'm usually a bartop seat kind of person, and while they don't have a bar, the seating overlooking the Venice canals more than makes up for it. The setup is half indoors, half outdoors, with plenty of heaters to keep things cozy. Service is always friendly, and I think this is one of the better dining options on the block.

Incredible Thai food! Don't believe the bad reviews! Amazing service and authentic flavors

Food was good overall, however, the beef that comes with the pub Thai was almost impossible to chew and very grizzly. Once I set that aside, it made everything more delicious last of a drain on my jaw. The mango sticky rice was done well, and the angel chicken Was interesting and fun. Perfectly crispy, and mostly flavorful. I could've used a little bit more " salty" flavor, but having it with the sauce plus a little of the red hot sauce helped immensely. Chill ambiance and the service was great, however, I felt a little bit like I was being pushed out 10 minutes before they closed at 9:30. Still yummy fs!

We were wandering around our neighborhood and came across Siamese Garden on Washington Boulevard. Since it's in such a touristy area, I didn't have high expectations, but honestly, I was really pleasantly surprised. The service was super attentive and kind, and the food was really good. The chicken satay was juicy, the peanut sauce was spot on, and pickled chili condiments were great (don't forget to ask for them). The spicy beef salad had a nice grilled flavor. Not too spicy thought. One downside: they don't have a full liquor license, so it's just beer and wine. I tried their Thai cocktail, and as expected, it was overly sweet and tasted like a premixed drink. I actually ended up running to get a little bottle of Bacardi from the corner store, added it to the drink with some lime, and then it finally worked. So yeah, I'd stick with beer there. But honestly, the food and service totally make up for it. I'll definitely go back if I'm walking by.

The food is probably "decent" for the area, but Siamese Garden is still the worst Thai food I've had in my life. Go over to Cerritos if you want more authentic tasting Thai food. Would definitely not return or advise a visit.

My friend brought me here for lunch and it was surprisingly quiet! The restaurant has so much outdoor seating! We got the Tom Yum soup with a side of tofu and shrimp, Pad Thai (vegan way), and 2 Thai Iced Teas, mine was with 1/2 the sweetness. I was shocked at "1/2" sweetness, I couldn't imagine what the full sweetness would taste like!! Next time, I may ask for 1/4th! But I know it is meant to be sweet. I normally don't love Pad Thai but I LOVED theirs. It wasn't as tangy as other places I've tried and that's why I loved it so much. We got it with the soft tofu and it was so delicious. The Tom Yum was delicious! We mean to get the Tom Kha but not mad we got the latter instead - we had it with a side of fried tofu and side of shrimp and jasmine rice. The server was very friendly and attentive. We sat on the street side so sometimes it was harder to get his attention (rightfully so). Our dishes came out extremely quick! Will definitely be back again.

Very good option for Thai food in Venice! Great location on Washington Blvd, right near the end of the Venice Canals. Parking options along Washington and on the various side streets. Food - tried a few noodle dishes (pad see ew, pad thai), as well as some curry and the cashew stir fry. Everything was delicious! No complaints at all on the quality of the food, especially loved the curry. Service - no major complaints, but service definitely was a bit slow despite not being there at a very busy time of day. Food did take a little bit of time to come out to us. Ambiance - really peaceful, relaxing ambiance with a garden vibe and patio seating! Great for a dinner with friends or date night.

Impeccable service with a beachy atmosphere that really did kind of make me feel as if I was in a southeast Asian beachside restaurant. Nothing to critique about the food. It was genuinely delicious. Some of the best thom kha soup we've had. Why? The coconut flavor was pronounced making the soup taste creamier than typical. Give me the cream baby! The pumpkin curry is worthy of a shout out. Flavor that made my tummy jump for joy. Tip: Get their purpose rice with the curry! Paired perfectly.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant on the west side but not in Los Angeles. I usually order to go, but it's nice when I go there being on the Venice canals. I just wish they get rid of that bird (if it's still there) that they keep in a cage. The curries are all good as is their pad see ew. I'm really surprised this place isn't rated higher as the prices are fair and food is good for Santa Monica / Venice Thai.

Memorial Day Weekend / Neighborhood Favorite: May 2023 Two friends & I were craving Thai food, so we walked over to Siamese Garden! There are numerous dishes on the menu that I love! Plus, I love Thai food!! I've been walking over & dining here for years! Atmosphere: Wonderful & peaceful, located next to The Venice Canals w/open air patio dining, as well as tables inside! Beautiful flowers as well! Tom Kha Soup w/Veggies: Had me at hello & is my absolute favorite & sometimes has me coming back for days in a row...yum! I love the strong coconut flavor!! Thai Tea: Flavorful & sweetened to perfection! Drunken Noodles: Delicious, spicy & flavorful! I alternate between ordering with veggies or fried tofu, because I enjoy the crispiness of it all! Veggie or Tofu Panang: Strong, delicious flavor! Love the blend of spices, yum! I order with a side of rice! Pad Thai: It's a must, so flavorful! I alternate between having it w/crispy tofu or veggies! They always make it spicy just how I like it!! Mango Sticky Rice: Love it & reminds me of when I first tasted this sweet treat in Chiang Mai, Thailand & was immediately addicted! Friends recently stopped by this week, and surprised me with mango and sticky rice!! Dine In or Out: I enjoy both! Fresh open air during the day & elegant vibe at night w/tall, blazing heat lamps & beautiful flower... It's an elegant mood! Customer Service: Wildly friendly, attentive & plenty of smiles! I often run into neighbors whenever I stop by to get food to go or sit down to dine! I've been here with friends, as well as with family in town! Everyone loves it! Overall: Yummy Thai food, welcoming vibe & I love the gorgeous flowers! If you're near Venice Beach, I recommend stopping by for a blend of flavorful Thai dishes & maybe a walk through the Venice Canals afterwards!

Highly recommend the emerald curry and Mango sticky rice!! The location is really cute along the canals and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely be coming back here again!

Their spicy beef salad, tom kha chicken soup and when tigers cry were also really good and highly recommended. Their pad Thai and pad see ew were good but they felt just standard for a Thai restaurant. The only downside it the food takes forever if you order ahead. Highly recommend eating family-style so that everyone has a taste of all the dishes. The Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry are some of the best examples of these classic dishes we have had in L.A. Finished with an excellent Mango Sticky Rice plus a Mango Sorbet. These desserts were so fresh. Love it when mangoes are in-season. Our house-guest gave the experience a 10/10. Ample, free parking; friendly staff; indoor and outdoor seating; and very good value for a foodie-satisfying meal. Reservations available through OpenTable.
