I stop by this location of Mr. Maple Donut every chance I get, hands down the best dough I've had in the entire donut world! My go-to is the classic sugar-coated, simple and perfect. It's so moist, light, airy, and has a perfectly balanced sweetness. My husband loves the chocolate cake with coconut. Their donut holes are delicious as well! Quick and friendly service every time. During this visit, the posted hours were Monday-Saturday 5am-9pm and Sunday 5am-7pm. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through the area! We were passing by this donut shop on our way south and I am very glad we did. We have been through this area many times and I never thought to look for donuts. My friends and I ended up getting several donuts each because there are so many delicious kinds to choose from. If you like fritters, they have several flavors beside apple. Their buttermilk bar, my favorite donut not always available every where, was great. It was huge and everything it should be. I did try a maple glazed old fashioned and a maple bar. They were good, the maple is what you would expect and the overall donuts were great. The staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting we get a dozen as it would save. If you are looking for a great donut experience, Mr. Maple Donuts is not the place to go. Overly sweet with a chemically taste. While the logo may be cool and the anticipation of their opening may have been high, the disappointment is real. It seems that Mr. Maple Donuts is simply re-branding stale, day-old donuts made the night prior at a local Sesame Donuts location. It even has the same setup with baskets of donuts behind the counter. While the selection may be huge and the service may be great, the ingredients used in the donuts are a major concern. The colorants used in the ingredients are carcinogenic, and should only be consumed in small amounts. Save yourself the disappointment! There are better options in town! read more

I love this place with all my heart. Double maple bar? I've never seen it before and it delighted me to no end. I have never met anything "too sweet" or "too rich," but people who have might say this is it. Maple bacon bar? I'd just been talking about crumbled bacon as the way to go instead of strips! I'm currently obsessed with this place. These donuts are so much better than Krispy Kreme with so many more options, and they're bigger for a slightly lower price! I love both the regular and the fancy ones. They also have some fabulous drinks that are to die for, plus milk cartons! The employees are mostly women, and they're genuinely nice and very considerate. They're also fast without making you feel rushed. You have to go there at least once in your life! Mr Maple is by far our favorite donut shop. Their donuts are next level. They have quite a delicious assortment beyond the traditional donuts: flavors such as Carmel latte (my personal favorite), s'mores, double maple, etc... Their dough is great: light and fluffy, much more-so than an average donut establishment. Their prices are higher than you'd pay at a grocery store (so it's not a place I'd be buying in bulk), but not outrageously priced for the quality. It's a price I'm willing to pay for the best donuts in town. The average review at the time of posting this was a 3.5 star... this is blasphemy... Best donuts that I have found since moving to Oregon. The donuts are large and an amazing variety. My favorite is the Coconut Cream. It's filled with delicious coconut cream like a pie and the exterior is covered in flaked coconut. If you are a fan of raised donuts, this is the place. Donuts taste 2 days old and are stale. Flavor is mediocre at best. The frostings could use some work. The presentation is pretty half arsed... I mean a squiggle a cross the donut? Boring. I didn't feel this place was anything special. Price was outrageous for what we got. Safeway has donuts that are a 10/10 for super cheap. Service was not to bad. The lady behind the counter was nice. The environment was not very welcoming by any means. Looks like a place you just pick up and go. I'd recommend cabinets with doors to optimize freshness and cleanliness. Use a little imagination for the designs. If the donuts were glossy they'd look more appealing to be honest. Maybe use stickers or punch cards to incentivize people to return.
