Food is always wonderful. Service is good and helpful with the menu. One of our favorite places to go to in Wilsonville.

I knew when I walked in the door the food would be tasty, because the aroma was amazing. Very nice, tidy and cozy place, blink or you'll miss it tucked into a strip mall behind the amusement park. Excellent service, thank you Sam. The food was delicious! We both tried the lunch special and were so pleased. Lamb and chicken so tender and beautifully spiced, and the garlic naan was perfect. Super excited to that there will be one soon in Ridgefield, WA, which is so close to our home. I can't say enough how good it was, and I can't believe it was not as crowded as it should be. Had been craving Indian food so I went to try this place out. The restaurant is clean and neat, the waiter was helpful and the food was fresh and tasty. Got the lunch special with chicken, you get 3 different dishes, basmati rice, cucumbers and red onions for the side salad, and garlic naan. Would go back to try more of their menu. read more

Came back a second time. The service was again somewhat rough around the edges. The host/server (one guy) was not particularly friendly, but certainly not rude. He quickly brought out the very nice flatware and water and silver cups but did not pour water for us. I thought that was unwelcoming. Later, he brought the bill on one of those screens, and it was full of smudges. If you're going to use a screen rather than a paper check (which I would much prefer, particularly if in a jacket), at least wipe it off before you come to the table. There was salt and pepper on the table when we sat down on a dish with some smudges. The best dish that we ordered was the biryani. The saag paneer was overly salty. The matar aloo was good but a little bit too salty. The naan -- especially the garlic naan -- was excellent. The place needs softer lighting. The lights are fluorescent and very harsh and bright; it is particularly noticeable at night. Not a great ambiance. read more

I was ordering online from them several times a week until just recently they raised their prices to unaffordable. I can't afford to eat there anymore. Great food! Very tasty and well prepared. The goat biryani was delicious and had lots of goat. The staff was attentive and helped with food selection and they prepared a dish without dairy (food sensitivity)! Just because it's the only Indian restaurant in Wilsonville, doesn't mean it's the best. It's one of the worst Indian places I've been to. Try Taste of India in McMinnville or Chennai Masala in Hillsboro. Food was bland and small portions. It was edible though. Service was bad. You can barely understand the server. Talking softly and mumbling. He didnt seem he wanted to work there. He even called and asked us how to arrange the tables to accommodate our small party of 5. You tell us...we don't know how large your tables are. Such a strange experience. Wilsonville has had better Indian restaurants, but they didn't survive the pandemic. This is a hard NO! read more

We happened to be passing through Wilsonville looking for something to eat and my wife spotted this on Yelp. We're glad she did. The waiter was very polite and gave us great service throughout our time there. We had the fish pakora which was nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly the way we like it, tender inside, slightly crispy out. We shared the mixed grill plate and enjoyed everything on it. My wife loved the two kinds of tikka and I especially enjoyed the lamb kabob. Everything was good. You have to order the naan separately so we got plain for her and garlic for me and we both really enjoyed ours. The decor is very clean and pleasant, the food is good and the service was great. If you're in Wilsonville craving Indian food, I'd highly recommend Zaiqa. read more

Overall the food is fine. As someone who grew up with authentic Indian food, it left something to be desired but if you don't know what some of these dishes are supposed to taste like then you'll likely enjoy it. The channa masala was fine overall but it had a smokey flavor that doesn't belong in a traditional channa masala dish. Additionally, the chickpea texture was a little off which suggests they are a canned variety instead of dried chickpeas that were soaked in house. The butter masala was also fine but the sauce was a little too much on the sweeter side and they skimped heavily on the paneer. The garlic naan was good but nothing remarkable. The chickpea batter for the vegetable pekora was surprisingly flavorful but unfortunately the mint chutney was very watered down. The restaurant itself is bright and open. The staff is friendly. The price point is about 25% too high for the quality of the food. If you just want something in the area that's different than traditional Americana then they're solid but if you're looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food at a price that matches the quality then you'll have to look closer to Beaverton. read more

This restaurant had a few different owners and today it's probably the best it's ever been. Perfectly seasoned and a fabulous collection. Choose your sauce and add the protein. I wish you could sample all sauces and select maybe the one you've never tried or are unfamiliar with. That would really add to the experience. Make sure you order ahead and don't expect a rush order. They don't rush anything but it's worth the wait. Clearly more of a Pakistani influence on the flavor but it's a refreshing take on the ones that you're used to. Enjoy! read more

I've tried many Indian restaurants, would not return to this one. Very little meat in the madras curry and tikka masala. Our takeout container was 2/3 full of sauce, I would guess 2-3oz of meat in total in each container? Vindaloo was mild despite asking for medium spice and tikka masala was spicy so I think they mixed up my order. Madras curry was completely forgettable. Tikka masala sauce was thick and tomato-y tasting, very odd. Veg biryani had almost no flavor. I don't get the reviews... for $100 for 4 people it's expensive for the amount of meat per dish but regardless, I wouldn't return just based on flavors alone no matter what the price. Tasty sauces. You pick your own protein which is nice. Massala curry with tofu but sauce, onions and tofu. Pricey for the small portions but again, delicious. The naan, however, is the best I've ever had. We tried garlic and spinach and cheese. Both were excellent. And the paneer pakora is one of the best things you'll ever eat! Just got home to West Linn after filling our bellies at Zaiqa in Wilsonville. Whenever we visit an Indian restaurant for the first time we usually order the same baseline dishes to decide if we want to return. We will DEFINITELY be back to Zaiqa again soon! Our meal started with vegetable samosas which were on par with any of the best samosas we have had in the Portland metro. Chutneys were also extremely fresh and delicious. We followed with Chicken Tikka Masala at medium spice. Tikka can vary a lot, but here it had just a bit of spice burn and was neither overly creamy nor watery. It was just right, with some red pepper and onion bites and plenty of chicken chunks to satisfy two of us. It came with the perfect amount of long-grain rice and we ate it with buttered naan . The Naan was fantastic, flavorful, bubbly and had a nice toasty char. This was better than most, and deserves a return visit to explore more variety of dishes. The room was bright, simple, and clean. We've only had a couple takeout items so far, but those were delicious so we're looking forward to dining in sometime soon to try more dishes. Tandoori chicken was perfectly seasoned & cooked. Samosas needed to be fried longer for crispier casing, but the filling was great. I had both with the mint chutney. What excited me most is that the flavors don't seem muted for western palates. My tastebuds are jumping for joy! We made a quick stop here on a roadtrip because they were close to the highway and they offered Samosa Chaat. This was one of the best decisions we have made all day! The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff were warm and friendly. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I loved that they had many GF, V options. They also have custom options available so you can pick your protein and the sauce that you like best, if you don't want to pick from the traditional offerings. Which means that you can eat whatever you are in the mood for with no restrictions! We enjoyed the samosa chaat and the navratan korma. Both had great flavors (especially the samosa chaat) and the spice level at a medium was good, although we might get medium plus next time as we like it a little spicier. This place has been a wonderful addition to the culinary wasteland also known as Wilsonville. I was very unfamiliar with Indian/Pakistani food before Zaiqa hit town. Now I'm a big fan. The food is tasty, the service always good, the prices very reasonable, and it is a much nicer restaurant than the previous Indian restaurant that occupied the same space. Existing indian restaurant location with new management/owners. The ambiance remains strip-mall drab but to be expected. The stainless water cups and private water pitcher were welcome updates. Meats, sauces and naan were 5 star tasty and met expectation. Our server (it was very slow on a Sunday afternoon) was perfectly attentive. Location for our group (coming from various locations) I'd say is 3.5 stars and the dining room itself also 3.5. Would recommend, will be back. read more
