The food here is incredible! I was very impressed from the first bite to last. The dishes were have high quality presentation and taste was even better! Service here was very professional and helpful. Loved the background music and vibes! Wide variety of vegan and gluten free options which was greatly appreciated! 10/10

Zaiqa has amazing and quality Indian food. It's been 5 years since my fiancé and I moved to Oregon and we have been looking for authentic Indian food since. Zaiqa's food is authentic and brings me back to my childhood. We are so lucky to have finally found them and will definitely be repeat customers. 10/10 and can't wait to bring friends and family here!

    Lunch special

Had been craving Indian food so I went to try this place out. The restaurant is clean and neat, the waiter was helpful and the food was fresh and tasty. Got the lunch special with chicken, you get 3 different dishes, basmati rice, cucumbers and red onions for the side salad, and garlic naan. Would go back to try more of their menu.

This is a hidden gem! We eat Indian food quite a bit and this is right up there with the best of them. Great service and food.

Zaiqa~Butter Masala the meat was tender and, had a good flavor but, it's not butter chicken (I am not a fan of masala). Matai Kofta (it reminds of egg foo young taste and texture). It was good but, we will not order again) Mixed Grill, veggie samosas, lamb biryani, and garlic naan were absolutely delicious and piping hot. Service~Our waiter was extremely helpful and gave exceptional service. We are allowed to seat where ever we are greeted with very cold water, plates, napkins, and silverware. Ambiance~It's in a small strip mall but, it has plenty of parking in the front and, on the side. The restaurant is very clean and, it's a restroom in the back. We will definitely be back sooner than later but, until then please give this wonderful establishment a try!!!

The restaurant is located in a strip mall and there is a lot of parking. We started with an order of Pappadum's and we all liked them. I liked the mint chutney sauce better than the Tamarind sauce. I ordered the butter chicken masala which had great flavor and was really good. We also ordered some plain nan and white rice came with the meal. One friend ordered the Tikka Masala and liked it. My other friend ordered the Mango Chicken Tikka Masala which was our least favorite. Service was okay, but really slow. The bathrooms need more attention. I can see us ordering take-out from Zaiqa in the near future.

I'm not gonna question where the heck did my review go to but let me rewrite it again…read more Sultan the Flaming Tandoor is probably the best if not the only Indian Cuisine in the Sherwood area. The food is delicious and the flavors in their curries and other dishes are spectacular. My personal favorite is the Khorma (my memorable dish as my friend Akash would say) every time I could come and either order out or dine in. Akash is the tall guy that works there. Friendly and attentive he always asks how is the food and my response to him is always the same- Wonderful! Some of our other favorites are the Chicken Biryani (very generous portions dine in or takeout), the Korma, butter masala, goat masala and garlic cheese naan (yum)! I also love his they use reliable stainless steel bowls and cups for serving your food and drinks in.

We wanted to have a great source of high-quality and great tasting Indian food nearby. All expectations were high. The reviews were even good to support the expectations. We knew it would be pricey and had the proper expense expectations. Maybe it was an off night. Maybe it was a long weekend and the Sunday night crew was tired. Maybe the ingredient delivery is on Mondays. We ordered the classics - the butter chicken, the aloo palak, chicken tikka masala, etc. - dishes we've had hundreds of times from hundreds of other restaurants (and pubs) so we're very familiar with good, great, and mediocre. Each dish looked the part, but was severely lacking flavor, which is an incredibly surprising thing to say when describing Indian food. While this is indeed a very subjective judgment, the same opinion was shared by our whole table, and even when leftovers were sampled the day after with an opportunity to better infuse, the same judgment awarded. Where was the flavor? Where were the spices? We asked these questions for every dish received. Expectations shattered. As for other criteria, ambience was average for a strip mall dine in restaurant, and with only one waiter, there was significant delay when it got busy - especially with their takeout/delivery demand. So, our search continues for a local solution to satisfy our Indian food fix. Suggestions welcome!

Our food took an inordinate amount of time to arrive but when it did it was delivered by a lovely gracious woman. The young man never checked in to see how everything was or if we desired anything. We had needed another 2 sets of flatware since we were 4 and there were only 2 place settings. I was forced to get up and go to another table to retrieve the place settings as our "server/ waiter" was absent. We ordered a chai for my 90 year old father prior to even ordering our meal yet it arrived WITH dinner and was placed nowhere near my father but on the other side of the condiments causing him to reach for it OVER the condiments, while ending up spilling hot chai on himself. My sister asked how this young man's father was, he replied, " he is home watching a game or something he doesn't come in on Saturdays unless he is covering me." If this is indeed the owner's son his attitude and behaviour is even more appalling ! My sister ordered dessert for my father,we had a table full of empty plates and dishes yet this guy did not remove any of them, he just set the sweet among them. I finally asked him to please take them away and even that he did not do immediately. When I asked for our cheque he told me that I must come to the counter. Had this been an exceptionally busy time in the restaurant we may have had a bit more patience but as it was not busy we certainly cannot understand the lack of service nor the very spacey and lackadaisical attitude. To note: upon arrival near 5 p.m today / Saturday as a party of 4 which included my sister & parents, patrons of this restaurant for years, there was only a table of 4 present hence this was not a bustling, busy afternoon. Sadly after our very lackluster experience tonight neither my parents, sister nor I will be returning or recommending Cuisine India !! There are numerous options for Indian food in Salem now. They offer great service, food, overall experience, and appreciation of their guests.

The menu covers an array of Indian classics that most Americans would be familiar with, with appetizers, drinks, meat, and veggie options. The food was served nicely. Pricing was as on the upper average side, but the portions were good. The food tasted good, but it wasn't super classic in flavor. The mango tikka was unique but delicious. Many patrons dining-in didn't have food, so maybe we were among the Monday dinner rush or maybe this is how the business runs here. Upon entering the business, one of the waiters seemed confident that our order wasn't ready, without first asking what our order number or name was or directing us to the area for which we would pick up. The two entrees themselves were good, spice level on par, chicken breast chunks well cut, the rice sides filled the containers and were tender and well seasoned. The naan was basic, small burnt areas and cold by the time we did our five minute drive.
