My favorite donut place, for the taste and the quick and friendly service. A great place to run in and run out of, if you're in a hurry, or just to take your time with if you're not. I went in around 8am. They had an enormous variety of donuts to choose from. My mind was set on the French crullers, which are not always easy to find. They had glazed, chocolate and maple. My family stopped on a Thursday later in the morning and although they'd already been selling many donuts, there was still a variety of classic and vegan donuts available including vegan donut holes and apple fritters. The case has a sticker advertising their vegan options, and they're on green trays in the case so it's easy to distinguish what's available. I appreciate the donuts themselves are different shapes with most of the vegan donuts being square, so when boxed up as a whole family it's very clear what treat is what. I tried the chocolate glaze, maple glaze, and a sugared donut and they were all incredibly FRESH and pillowy, without being overpriced for the love that went into them. Donut Rewards need clarity. Another donut reward drama. We love these donuts, but can't seem to be able to collect the free donuts we've earned. Last time we were given a headache trying to redeem a free donut and were kindly awarded extra rewards points for our inconvenience. But the extra rewards points turned out to be worthless because they only let us redeem one free donut per visit. It would be nice if the donut reward program was clearly explained somewhere and if there were a way to redeem more than one of the free donuts we've earned per visit. read more

The Spanish guy behind the counter is Just embarrassingly unapologetic plainly RUDE. Rushing me when there's ONLY 1 person behind me. Not worth my money to give. So I guess they have NOT changed, since I read the reviews from 8 to 6 years ago that this guy had been, always rude. Such a turn off! The donuts aren't that good anyway and the pricing on there is TRICKY!!! Donuts to the left and the right counter is DIFFERENT pricing. And the winner for the best donut box is....Donut Land! Seriously, the box alone is a cute enough reason to stop by and grab a donut. We were running an errand nearby, and always prepared to try a new donut, I ran in to grab a few. The place was dead, it was around 1pm on a Friday. The donut cabinet was full, and the service very gracious and friendly. I was a smidge underwhelmed with the variety available, mostly just the basics one would expect. But, since I'm allergic to walking out of a donut shop with less than a dozen, I made it work. The iced vanilla cakes were great, the chocolate versions a tad dry. The lemon filled wasn't filled quite enough. But the flavors were all great, and I especially appreciated that the donuts themselves weren't overly sweet, since the icings have that part covered. I travel all the way here in Tualatin because my coworker strongly recommend Their donuts~ The shop is kinda hidden in a shopping plaza And it's not difficult to fine. When I got here, there was not many customers here. So I made myself comfortable browsing through the goods, while the owner unloading fresh donuts. When it was time to order, I told the owner I traveled all the way here because my coworker strongly recommended his donuts! He gave me a timid smile and say "thank you very much"! I order three donuts (Boston cream, fritter and original glaze) and asking him to chose another one for me. Without thinking g too much, he grabbed the chocolate on chocolate cake donut; which completed my donut experience. I bit into each donut and happy to report they are all good! The dough were puffy and not greasy, and none of them are too sweet. BTW, their donut box design has the landscape of the "donut land", which is too cute! Flew in from NC. Wanted a "real" donut, I e. Apple fritters, bear claws, etc. Googled and found Donutland. They did not disappoint. It's a family owned business and the owner was so nice. Even carried my 3 dozen out to my car. We made burgers on glazed donuts, he suggested I try it on an apple fritter like a local restaurant and even gifted me a couple. I'm so mad that I went here, it has ruined other donut places for me. I swear to you, they are preforming donut WIZARDRY at this establishment. Proceed with caution you'll be hooked. Donut land is open til ten, (night owls, rejoice) I went in at 9:30 and the donuts tasted perfectly fresh, fluffy and delicious. It's been five years since my first and only visit so as a donut aficionado I thought it was time to give them another try, especially with such high yelp reviews. I got my fav and was pleasantly shocked that I found the best old-fashioned in the westside burbs of PDX. The crumb was light and fluffy and there was a nice toothsome crunch from the glaze. What sealed the deal was that it was oily, but you couldn't taste the oil, i.e. there was no bad aftertaste like most other donuts. Also, it was the perfect size, not too big (I didn't feel like a glutton after eating the whole thing). The display case was well stocked and business was brisk on a Saturday afternoon. I've been to this place a handful of times now and each time it has been just your average run of the mill donut shops. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you are looking for a simple, decent donut this will take care of your craving. I prefer regular donuts without all the frills and toppings, plus the extra sugar bomb that usually comes with it. However, I definitely don't like when I find foreign objects in the food, so I will probably not be stopping here next time I'm passing by. Luckily my daughter found the metal before it ended up in her mouth. Maybe you guys should do a little more quality control before someone bites down on a piece of metal because I don't think anyone wants that kind of topping on their donut. read more
