Just finished a move today with Mr. Lifter and I'm beyond glad that I used them. We are moving from Cedar Park to the South Congress area, and the movers provided me with a piece of mind on what is normally a stressful situation. From the beginning, Dale would always respond to my emails and phone calls and made sure that the reservation was all good to go. On moving day I got a call from Kyle about 30 minutes before arrival letting me know they were on their way. We have a good size 3 bedroom home that is 2 stories. You could tell from the beginning that these guys knew what they were doing. Kyle, Al, and Will all introduced themselves and were extremely polite throughout the entire moving process. It was almost as if each person had a role and they worked great as a team. Kyle made sure that everything was taken care of and that all the small details were addressed. Kyle worked so fast in loading up all of the boxes that it was truly amazing how quickly he got them done while making sure all of my belongings were taken care of. Al is a magician when it comes to loading the truck. I was amazed at how he made everything fit so effortlessly and really made the most of the space in the truck. Kyle took care of my baby (my 70 inch tv) and made sure it was wrapped and then some. He went out of his way to make sure that I felt comfortable with the way he packaged not only the TV, but also my couch. Will and Kyle took apart all of my bed frames and Kyle even walked me through how to put it back together later on. They both did a heck of a good job making sure that all my dressers were wrapped nicely and that they would be safe. On top for working efficiently and carefully, they were super nice. They were easy to talk to and polite. They even asked me if I was okay with playing music on their portable speaker. To say I'm happy with the service I received today is an understatement. We were planning a move but was not sure when within the next 2-3 weeks, so we asked around for a quote and availability from various movers. Mr. Lifter is on the top of our list because a good friend who recently moved using their service spoke highly of them. After shopping for comparison, Mr. Lifter still has the best rate even without their holiday special! We were so excited to be able to move with Mr. Lifter. Dale was prompt and responsive in communicating with us and handling the schedule for the move. Moving day arrived, Dale called us at least an hour before to confirm and inform us their actual arrival time. Jay, Albert, and Kyle greeted us promptly and they started right away without delay. Within 3 hours, they've wrapped our furniture and loaded all our boxes out of our 2 bedroom place. I was 5 minutes behind the truck and passed it on its way to the new place. Kyle drove carefully and promptly arrived. They laid blankets on the floor to not bring dirt inside the place. We also had the floors cleaned, so we really appreciate it. We asked them to assembled our bed, and they were efficient with that too! You could have them pack your boxes too. However, we packed all of our things in advanced and disassembled the bed, so the move was considerably faster. Jay, Albert, and Kyle were all about efficient moving and communicated with us frequently about what things stay and where things go. It was really cool, Kyle carried a portable speaker and played music while they moved. I hummed along as we loaded up and out of the truck! What would've taken us double the time to get done, Mr. Lifter did it in less than 5 hours. Our move was significantly easier with them! They are super reliable and careful with our belongings. I have to admit I get pretty anal about banging things into jambs and walls, and dirtying the items on the outside ground. I have moved quite a bit from LV to Beverly Hills, to Au and now to ATL; therefore, take my word for it and call Dale he is the only mover you need to call. He showed up on time: great first impression. Opening my doors and letting strangers into the house with my daughter and I was terrifying. I met Dale outside, and the minute I met him all my fears melted away. He made me feel at ease. He is tall, dark, and extremely handsome. However, that was not what made me relax: he was open, personable and had a great energy about him. Dale was very professional and respectful. He was very careful moving my things onto the moving truck. One item was in a crate and weighed over 200 pounds, which I told him about prior to scheduling the job. He attempted to move it himself, but when the full weight of the crate registered, he said, "What the heck do u..." He caught himself and didn't finish the question. Later his apprentice who was left alone with the crate said, "What the heck do you have in there, a dead body?" Young and inexperienced he didn't know asking me the question was inappropriate. However, I went with it, and I said, Yes, it's my ex-husband, but then I walked up to the crate and smacked the side a few times and said, not really, he is alive and still kicking didn't you hear him? Dale's price was fair, and he was willing to work with me on the price. I knew my move would be tight, concise and relatively easy, with the exception of two very heavy pieces. I only have good things to say about AM MOVING and DALE ROLLINSON. We are baby boomers and decided to downsize and move near grandkids. We soon realized that moving at our age was going to require some help. I decided to look on Craigs List and found Dale. We used Dale multiple times. First, we had him move items into storage. Then we had him load multiple trucks over a 6 week time period. After selling and moving our home we hired him again for unloading the storage buildings. Each and every time he was consistent in his work ethics, performance and professionalism. Because we spent so much time with him, we grew to appreciate his character qualities that you don't see that much in today's young workers. Dale is an exception to his generation. He works hard and is conscientious about the time; knowing time is money. I think the thing that I liked most however was the fact that he was so attentive about the care of our belongings and did an excellent job making sure everything was well wrapped and properly loaded to prevent damage. 10 stars!!! This is some of the best money that I have ever spent. Moving sucks. It's stressful, tiring, and just chaotic. Well, these guys made moving SO much more enjoyable. Our crew was Michael, Thomas and Dale. We wanted to get the move over with, and chose the 9am slot. They got there early! They arrived in a clean 26 foot truck. They were extremely well organized, proficient and very friendly. They really cared about our belongings, shrink wrapping some of the more delicate furniture. They remained cheerful throughout the entire process. They followed us to our new place, and had everything unpacked and placed exactly where we indicated very quickly. They will take apart beds, and reassemble them if you need. I chose to do this myself the night before so that we could finish the whole moving process just that much more quickly. I am a very organized person, and had all of my bins/boxes stacked together, and then all of my furniture together. They completed our entire moving process in 4 hours. We moved from the north side of Austin down to the south Congress area. AM Moving Company is excellent. If we had moved ourselves, we would have to rent a truck, load it, drive it to our new place (all the while accruing mileage fees), unload, drive the truck back to the rental place...pffft. We just moved out of a house that we lived in for 28 years. Since we were moving to an apartment while we build a house, we had two separate moves to make - one to the apartment and the other to storage. If it weren't for the on time, professional and very meticulous guys with AM Moving, I am not sure we could have ever made it in time to close on our house. These wonderful young men moved very heavy furniture down 2.5 stories in a stairway that took 4 right hand turns. My furniture and walls didn't have a single scratch. The day of the first move, it rained all day. AM moving wrapped everything in blankets and then shrink wrapped them over the blankets. I felt like they were caring for my furniture as if it were their own. When we saw how hard these young men worked, we hired them to help us pack the boxes and organize everything that was going to storage. The third day they worked with us, they moved the rest of our furniture and stuff to the storage unit. I would not hesitate to hire AM Moving for any move I make. I'm a single mom and a math teacher, so I'm crazy busy, but also always want a good deal. When I had to move all our stuff into storage this fall (house wasn't ready - new construction headaches), I made the mistake of going with the lowest bidder. The 2 guys were nice and moved all the big stuff in a day, but I was left with all the rest of our things. It took me two more 15 hour days and 2 uhaul truck rentals to get everything into storage after that. My back wasn't happy with me either! When our home was done, I decided to move smarter, not harder. I was honest about how much stuff a mom and 3 kids actually have this time. Dale did the math, and had the winning solution: 2 trucks and 4 guys would cut down on my hourly rate. The other companies may offer a lower hourly rate, but if it takes 3 times as long or extra trips, you'll end up paying more in the end. Dale and his crew were all very polite and professional. It's been about a month since we hired Mr. Lifter to move us from Austin to Dallas. This is the first time I've ever hired movers before and I had high expectations for Mr. Lifter with all the positive reviews. Expectations were greatly met! I'm pretty sure that these guys live for this! Of course the packing part that we had to do was already frustrating enough, and the anxiety of having someone else move your stuff was taking a toll on us the days leading up to the move date. However, when Kyle and his team showed up, they removed all fears by walking us through what was good and what they needed guidance on as far as all of our belongings. Working with them to pack the truck and unload the truck was seamless and a lot easier than I thought it would be! I have to shout out to Albert! This guy is a beast! From the first quote call to the follow up, everything went as planned! I've never hired movers before and the cost was startling, but I'm so glad this company made it worth the cost. Dale was extremely kind and helpful when scheduling the move. He didn't believe me when I said I'd prep everything so it would go quicker. But I did, and it did. Those movers were done with my two bedroom move in 3.5 hours- half the time he estimated. They were careful, thoughtful and efficient in the move. When we finished so early, they asked if I wanted help rearranging any of the furniture (this was after I paid!). I wasn't ready for any arranging yet so I thanked them, tipped them as well as I could (because they were AWESOME) and said fairwell. A few days later Dale called back to check and see how everything went. All of my furniture came out in great shape and nothing was lost. I couldn't be happier with this service. These guys were extremely professional from the moment I called. They were responsive to my questions, punctual (not common in Austin), and took care moving my things. After reading reviews on yelp, we decided to give Mr. Lifter Moving Company a call. From the first contact call to the completion of the job, we were treated with courtesy and respect. The estimate was for 3 hours and they finished in four, but we anticipated that it might take more time. To be clear, the three man crew worked steadily and efficiently the whole time. The cost was reasonable in comparison to other estimates too. Overall, we were quite pleased with the experience. The stress of moving was a bit easier because of their professionalism and care. I used these guys a couple years ago to move, when I waited until the last minute to look to movers. It was a Friday and my lease ended Saturday. I thought I would have time to call someone and get help, but it turns out most moving companies are booked farther in advance. I called at least 4 places before I found Mr. Lifter. I was hugely relieved to see that they were available, and I scheduled them right away. I had rented my own uHaul truck and boxed up most of my stuff by the time they got there. They were very good and careful with my items, including a fragile glass table that was difficult to move without breaking. After I drove the truck, they met me at my new apartment and helped me unload everything in the right spot. I was lucky to find anyone available, and if it weren't for them I probably would have had to pay extra to stay a few more days. read more

You know how I know a good company from a GREAT company? They answer my call on the first try! Dale was great to speak with over the phone, gave me great advice and tips to prepare for their arrival. He also gave me a follow up call a few days before our move as well. Great communication! We only needed them to help us load our moving truck, since we were moving cross-country. All of our items arrived at the final destination without a scratch (ok, I had one plastic plate crack, but that was my fault for the way I packed it). During the loading process, the crew was very friendly but also focused on the task at hand. They were very careful with all items, and made sure to wrap the pieces that needed it. Wow! What a load off my mind, and less pains in my back! Hurricane Harvey sent my moving plans downstream. Dale (Mr. Lifter) was the first to answer my S.O.S. email on Sunday. We scheduled for Tuesday. Dale called me on Monday because his schedule for Monday would accommodate my needs. We set the time and the move was done by Kyle, James and Al. These three young men were so efficient, fast, helpful, and polite. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet them. My 80th birthday was celebrated in February. So, I have been around long enough to recognize people who take pride in their work, do what they say they will, and provide a responsible work ethic. I'd like to say I'm speechless about how amazing my moving crew was today, but I'm obviously not because I'm writing this review! They were prompt, energetic, experienced, hard working, courteous, fun, considerate, helpful, tireless, fast, organized, trustworthy, and friendly. Any move is going to make someone frazzled, but these guys couldn't have put me at more ease, and they did a fantastic job at the same time! They made my moving experience fly by, and I couldn't have felt better about putting my belongings into their hands. The price is worth it considering there are three movers going at the speed of light but not damaging a single thing. I've had other movers in the past, but I will be calling these guys next time. First class movers!! Came ready to work and got right to work! We were moving from two locations and they picked up from one location and then went to the second location and then unloaded at the new house. They disassembled/reassembled beds, lamps, BBQ, etc. This was my first time using movers and of course I heard every friends horror stories but Yelp came through for me once again and this was the best moving experience ever and gave us time and energy to focus on setting up our new home and enjoying it! The price and time estimates were right on, we went over by about 30 minutes but the charges were exactly as agreed up front, no surprises. Our belonging were treated with care!! AM movers did an outstanding job for us. On Saturday they picked up furniture that was going to three different locations - first in Fort Worth, then to Dallas, and the next morning down to Austin. At each step of this complicated move everything was handled in such a professional way. The scheduling was easy. The movers arrived promptly on time and were very polite. They were very careful with each item, wrapping and taping so that nothing received even a scratch. The Austin address was an upstairs apartment, but that presented no problem at all, even for some things that were bulky and heavy.
