Call these guys when you need to clear an entire house full of stuff. They work so hard and so efficiently that they filled their biggest truck up in 2 and a half hours (while clearing out my dad's 3 bedroom house). The only downside was that their biggest truck didn't quite hold the entire contents of the house, so I'm having to have a second round of people come out. This is something I couldn't have predicted, though, because my dad had a ton of clothes and closets. And even more crap outside. I also liked that the guys were very careful and very kind! Make sure you tip them! (The pictures below are of the type of junk I needed removed. I didn't take any after photos, but it's all gone!) read more

Shawn and his guys were great! Our title company ran into some last minute issues during closing which ended up delaying the move in for more than a couple of hours. Shawn's guys were great and offered to hang around to get us moved in. We eventually let them go only to finally receive our keys 5 or so minutes later. They jumped into action and got all of our stuff into our new house, saving us a lot of effort. Would definitely use these guys again! read more

Thanks so much!! ----------- I really wanted to love this como, but when their staff isn't provided with or doesn't bring the proper equipment, thus making the move waayyyyy longer than it should have been, it's hard to give a good rating. The two gentlemen that came, though nice, took FOREVER!! They definitely were not in a hurry and took their time. They didn't have dollies. They mentioned that the company doesn't provide them with any!! I've never heard of a moving company that doesn't provide an important piece of equipment for their staff. Also, they broke one of the legs off of my TV stand rendering it unusable. NOT happy about that. Also, taking 8 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment is a bit much. It has NEVER taken 8 hours for any of my moves from a 2 bedroom apartment. Overall, not a good experience and probably won't use them again. read more

We decided to use Charitable movers because they give a portion of the proceeds to charity. I'm glad we did. The guys showed up right on time, handled all of our items with care, took apart the furniture that needed it, and put it back together at our new house. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They were really good with working around the things we hadn't gotten around to packing up yet. I would definitely use them again and would reccomend them to anyone planning to move. read more

RUN away from this outfit. Initially, the man that said he was the 'owner' (Shawn) was full of information, telling me he tried to find the most low cost way for us to move. We were moving in two phases - due to the size of our home. I went to a great deal of detail (creating a large spreadsheet) that listed every item and their dimensions and the move day for each item. After that, the owner (Shawn) became invisible -- only to call me from various events with his kids (almost as though he did not actually have a job). The two young men that showed up did not have cases for the flat screen TV's (as promised), a ladder to remove light fixtures (as promised), nor equipment to take apart items that needed to be dis-assembled (as promised). They were told 'just bring a few blankets and wrapping supplies along with a rented truck'. Shawn promised he would be present to take down the lighting fixtures because 'he was the one with insurance'. He did not show up. Even the two young men were angry that Shawn did not give them appropriate instructions. In fact, Shawn told me that my first move would not all fit in the truck - only to have the truck only be 1/2 full. The movers were also angry about this as they had to drive really slow (costing me more money) due to the empty-ness of the truck. Honestly - it feels like 'Shawn' is running a part time write-off gig from his living room just renting trucks and college kids needing extra money. We did tip the two kids well - they did a good job despite all of our joint frustration. Hopefully, they also decide Shawn isn't worth the effort. read more

We downsized from a 3-bedroom home in Kaufman County to a 2nd-floor, 2-bedroom apartment in Ellis County. The entire experience, from quote to finish, was professional and efficient. The team of 3 young men showed up at 8:00 a.m., right on time, and finished the entire job by 12:30 p.m. I felt sorry that they had to move our huge safe, upstairs, but they did it without complaint. They were so friendly and professional. Nothing was broken or damaged. And their price was extremely reasonable. Right now, I can't imagine moving again, but if/when I have to, I'll definitely use them again! read more

I can't say enough good about this moving company! It was a great experience with them moving from Mansfield, Texas to College Station. They also hauled some things to donate couple of days before our final move. I like that part of it goes to charity. read more
