Pony up moved my daughter out of the sorority house last June and were to store a couch for us until this summer. They have lost the couch and tried to say she agree to have it move to one of two apartments, they are not sure which one??? She knows no one in those buildings and would not have allowed anyone to use the couch this year. We have no payments to them to move it and they can find no invoice that they had it moved because they claim their system is missing the invoices and they claim "texts" to my daughter were on a phone of a former employee. They will no longer respond to texts, emails or calls from us on this very nice missing couch. read more

FANTASTIC moving company! Consistent, reliable, locally owned, and well priced, Pony Up movers have earned my permanent business. Ivan is the owner and he is right there with you during the moving process. He made me feel like I was in good hands throughout my move. He also has the tea on different apartment complexes in the area- a valuable resource! I wish I had him to advise me before I moved into my last apartment.. but that's a whole other story. I actually tried another moving company since the first time I used Pony Up and I regretted it immediately. They damaged a few things and didn't even tell me about it. I remember how Ivan and his crew pointed out some chipped paint on my bed frame and said he'd adjust the cost accordingly- well they didn't cause those chips, I did years before! THAT's the level of honesty and integrity present here with this company. THAT's is why I won't hire anyone else. I had him hang my TV and I am having him hang my hammock. Do not use them unless all other moving companies are booked. Very poor customer service. They moved my son out of his dorm and held the items over the summer. When they brought everything back, we discovered 2 boxes were missing and many items were broken in the boxes that did make it. No help at all trying to resolve the issue. They did arrive during their 2 hour window and the gentleman who actually moved the boxes were very nice, which is the best thing I can say about the experience. read more

Pony Up Moving is just terrific! We were introduced to them through Southern Methodist University, where our daughter attends. We used their specialized package to move students in and out of the dorms. For a set price, they deliver boxes and tape to your students dorm room, then pick up everything at a later, pre-arranged date and time. They will either take the boxes to storage (temperature controlled!) or ship the boxes to wherever you need. And then when school is back in, they deliver everything back to you! Ivan and Lisa are so friendly and flexible - they stay in touch via text so you don't have to waste hours just sitting and waiting for movers! As a parent, I felt so comfortable working with them (as did my daughter). They handle all sorts of moving, not just the university, and I would recommend them for any moving needs. Pony Up Moving definitely goes above and beyond. read more

We used Pony Up to move out of the SMU dorm and into an apartment. Ivan and Lisa were great, and the crew that helped us was excellent. I gave only 4 stars because there was a little confusion with scheduling, however they were very responsive and corrected the issues as soon as the problem was noted. We used another company last year and it ended up being VERY costly. read more

Mixed feelings about Pony Up. We used their services to move daughter's dorm room belongings and car into storage after the students were not able to return back to SMU due to the pandemic. Her car was returned in perfect condition. I was told that Ivan would take good care of it by starting it up on a regular basis to keep the battery working. Unfortunately, four of her room items (that we know of) were missing and never returned when they brought everything back in August for move-in. My daughter and I attempted several times to talk to them to find out what happened to these items and try to locate them (left phone messages, emails, and texts). Finally I received a text with a photo asking if the item was my daughter's, which it was, but as of yet they have never returned it to my daughter. Any messages I continue to send are never responded to. So while I appreciate the good care of her car, and I understand they had their hands full with a lot of college move-outs and move-ins, I am very disappointed by the lack of communication. They did not even return our calls to let us know what was going on, let alone make any attempts to try to locate and/or deliver my daughter's lost items. Low stars for poor organization, management, communication, and professionalism. read more
