Walked in to this shop as it was closing. I asked if a key could be made for my motorcycle pannier and handed over one of the locks. He went right to work making my key. The lock was being difficult and he checked and lubed the lock, cut a second key and third key trying to get it just right. In a few minutes he handed me two working keys. I handed him my credit card but he had already shut down the credit card machine. My lock, keys, and credit card were handed to me with a, "catch me next time." I would like to recommend Mr. Keyman to anyone having the need of a locksmith that is competent and whose fees come second to its desire to help persons solve their problems, and particularly thank John DeLapa in solving mine without a fee. I had a problem with two locks; one was to the front door of my house that would not lock. I called several locksmiths in my area of Oceanside, CA. They all quoted rather substantial service fees just to come out. Mr. Delapa of Keyman asked me to send him a picture of the locks and instructed me as to what I was doing wrong in attempting to close them. The locks then worked without the need of repairs. Fast and Thorough. After a health emergency, the police locked ( secured) everything up in my 86 year old mom's rental. They did an awesome job but we could not find the keys to the garage! Unfortunately, my mother passed away and I needed to move her things out quickly. A: products are not OEM quality, I got a broken key fob case out of the box and then they were upset that i wanted to return it the next day. B: Horrible customer service, don't use the F bomb with a customer, ever. They are also super condescending and make you feel like you are an asshole for trying to give them business. Just wasted 30 mins of my day. Stood in line for 10 mins and waited to be helped, then got my turn and told the kid behind the counter I need two copies for my truck key and transponder. I asked him how long and he said 15 mins. I told him I'll be next door at Home Depot and will be back in 5. When I came back there was a lineup and he was helping others. I waited patiently at counter and asked him after he helped two customers when I was going to get my keys and he said he never started.
