These guys are KEY-CUTTING MASTERS. I had a nightmare situation trying to get a copy of my Toyota key made. It has a transponder, so I knew I just needed someone to cut the blank I bought off Amazon. First, I went to Home Depot, but they have a company policy against cutting keys with transponders in them. Ugh. Then I walked next door to this place, and the guy cut it in two seconds. Now that I'm looking at possibly getting keys done again, not only does this business not come up on the map when searching locksmiths (pretty much only the faceless kiosks come up--hurrah for all y'all made socially anxious from chronically living your life online instead of irl), but it wouldn't even come up when I searched by name...wtf ALL these huge internet companies are forces of typical late-stage capitalistic destruction of society (turning us against each other, funneling more money to fewer people, etc) and this experience just illustrates that even further. There are good humans out there!!! I highly, highly recommend Mr. Keyman!! I changed the battery on my Kia Optima fob and still couldn't get my car to start. So, I called Mr. Keyman and he spent time via the phone and text to diagnose my issue and I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me get my car started so I wouldn't have to pay $100 for a mobile mechanic. We went back and forth and he finally got my car to start!! I drove right up to his location to get my fob reprogrammed. I went in to Mr Keyman to get my 2011 honda accord key fixed because it came lose and was bending, instead of charging me for a new key they offered me the ability to fix the old key and replace the outer holder that held the key together. I am so grateful to them for offering the cheapest method and with a lifetime warranty! Locally owned (born and raised in Vista). Very fast and accurate key cutting, rekeying of deadbolts and Smart FOB duplication for every model car I could think of! The key machine at Home Depot was not properly aligned/calibrated and I ended up having to return 12 keys that I had cut there. This is my second time coming to Mr Keyman! The workers both times were super helpful and friendly :). Bryce helped me this time and he was very friendly and able to help me quickly. He told me that some mobile locksmiths have been flagging their business as being nonexistent or as closed to lure customers away from there, which is rude. They are not on google for that. We have a 2009 Ford Focus and the key we had got broken at the top part where it hooks onto key rings and such. So we purchased a new key and needed it programmed. I called about 20 different locksmiths to ask how much just to program. I called Mr. Keyman and they told me $65 for both the cut and programming. When I went in- the service was unbelievably fast!
