I inquired on how long the job would take based on pictures I sent over, and he replied "an hour max, and it will probably be a couple screws and glue" Communication was OK overall. Lee contacted me on a Monday and asked for the address, email and phone number and asked about my availability for the remainder of the week. I didn't receive a response to my reply, so I had to follow up the next day. We were able to get the job scheduled for the same Friday and his team came to complete the project utilizing a lockbox we provided. I didn't receive any updates during the job, which probably would have helped the surprise of the invoice I later received that was $232.35 when I was expecting something closer to $100 based on our first conversation. Lee did promptly reply and let me know that they thought they would hit a stud but since there was nothing, the job was more complicated as they had to create the support. Overall, still a solid experience and I would still consider using Lee and Finest Fix in the future.

What's really amazing is that they were responsive, easy to schedule an appointment with, and they showed up and did the work as promised. They did the work and they kept their word. Folks, we know how hard it is to find good people that keep their word and stick to it. I'm amazed how easy it was to schedule an appointment. We have two other rentals in the boonies in the Sierra Foothills in California and getting people to call you back and actually show up to do the work is hell. It's literally hit or miss and we have dealt with a lot of bait and switch folks, too. They quote you one price and lo and behold, there's more stuff that needs to be done. Ryan came out a few days later at my request, they would have come out sooner but my schedule didn't allow it. Ryan took care of the main problem. A couple days later NMA came back from a trip and noticed part of his room had no power. I contacted them again and they advised they will be right out. They have different phone numbers and if you catch him off guard he will tell you his real name is either Lewis when his name is William :/ This young man sent out guys to my property that had no idea what they were doing. They tampered with both my electrical and plumbing and I had to have the work assessed by a professional and take pictures and make records of everything for legal reasons. It is very possible that many of these yelp reviews are from family and friends or paid third party. Be very careful who you let in your home. ALWAYS ask for their detailed paperwork and match it up with their driver's license if you have to. Whatever it takes because there is A LOT of fraud out here nowadays. After a nightmare contractor experience to begin, I was confident when I then hired Red Hammer I would be in good hands. While things started off well, they quickly declined and I was left with half finished projects yet I was out the full amount as if everything was fully completed and correct. Towards the end everything was rushed, so things weren't completed to the quality you'd expect for the price and some other items were simply not completed. I was told I would be reached out to when there was additional time to finish items, but never was. Starting on day 1, a subcontracted demo crew arrived along with Marcus from your team. They accidentally nicked a knob and tube wire along with 2 pipes. We did not know at the time, and noone from your team told us even though I have video proof they knew earlier that morning. We later found out when OUR plumber came to check on the pipes and noticed the mistakes and pointed it out to all workers present at that time. Knowing these pipes were nicked, they closed the floor anyway with the active leak inside. Following installation of the toilet and shower head, when I went to use the toilet, water came spewing through my ceiling downstairs- The team refused to acknowledge responsibility, initially stating it was the radiator regardless of my insisting. Upon locating the leak was actually in a drain pipe, they then said it was the subcontractors fault for nicking the pipe, completely ignoring the fact that if it wasn't enclosed under flooring, this would not have been an issue. Along with this issue, I had multiple concerns with professionalism and communication throughout. I was never told who would be coming on what day, and I encountered about 6 different workers in the time Mendr worked on my house. I was told Marcus would be my project lead, and he was only present the first 2 days. When we would relay a message to one worker, they would not relay it to the others, which lead to huge gaps in communication. We would ask for things to be done a certain way, and the team would ignore and do it the way "they always do it", even when resulting in poor installation of the sister beams, flooring, and cutting into my stack pipe for the exhaust fan. Your team did not put any tarps down unless we asked them to and even then, did not fix them when they would rip. There were multiple discussions regarding safety issues I caught on camera as well that your team still tries to pawn onto the subcontractors I didn't even know were coming. The absolute worst part about this team regardless of all the issues I encountered in my home is that your team still refuses to be held accountable, and does not seem sympathetic in the least for any of the damage caused in my home. I have photo and video proof as well as multiple other professionals who stated the work your team provided may as well be illegal with the lack of safety concern and poorly following ANY coding guidelines. Even with all of this, Kyle, you still try to deny claims and report the subcontractors did it- completely ignoring ANY of your teams responsibility in this matter. Do better, Do not rip people off if you can not handle the project. We deserve our down payment back, none of the work you performed was actually usable! You are only as professional as ALL of your employees and it has been made clear you do not send the same employees for all of your jobs.
