They painted, installed floating floors, & new lighting throughout the house, just to name a few things. Mike and the team brought a dated South Philly row home to a sleek, modern look which raised the property value immensely. I highly recommend this company for anything you need done around your home. My mother cried with joy once the project was completed. They went through two contractors and it was a total nightmare for them before Handyman Services got involved. 5 stars, easy. It's always a bit of a gamble choosing a new contractor, but I'm so happy we went…read morewith Harlan and his team. Our goal was to expose 2 brick walls in our South Philly row home, and build out a custom mantle for a beautiful antique surround we had sourced through an architectural antiques dealer. Harlan was quick to answer my call (score number one), easy to talk to about my vision for the project, and provided visuals (score number two), and was in constant communication throughout the whole project (score number three!) It was a larger project that, given the work, was pretty disruptive to our day-to-day life (jackhammers on the walls, sheets of plastic taped up in a maze, and brick dust everywhere) but Harlan's incredible team worked quickly and punctually to get the job done in about a week's time. Every worker who came through the house was respectful and kind. Price was excellent for the services we received: the value can't be beat. We couldn't be happier with the final result - it truly did wonders for our space. If you're looking for exposed brick work in Philly, please, look no further than Pinnacle.

Harlan came out to give us a quote and spent over an hour walking through all of the things that could be done and explaining the processes. This was very comforting, especially as a first time home buyer. We had a significant amount of work that needed to be done (painting walls/trim/doors, window trim installed, quarter round installed, dry wall installation, exposing a brick wall, exterior painting and the list goes on). Harlan was great to work with and thoroughly explained each of the items on the quote. The team was able to start very soon after receiving the quote. They were very diligent and ensured that I was kept in the loop on the progress that had been made each day. They continually provided input and suggestions on what could be done at the house. The team exposed a brick wall in one of the bedrooms and re-pointed the brick where necessary. One of my favorite things was a column that Harlan built around an exposed duct. The column is now a statement piece in our home and we are so grateful for it. Harlan & his team were able to do a lot more than just painting at my house. They were very patient, paid attention to detail and ensured that we were happy with the final product. I definitely recommend Pinnacle Painters & will be using them in the future for any general contractor items.

We usually reserve this kind of work for people we know or recommended by people we trust. So, I was a little skeptical about how it would turn out. Michael definitely delivered. He showed up the next day to give a quote, sent me a quote a couple of days later, and then started the job two weeks from my initial inquiry. So the first part of this review is that he showed up in a timely manner, which was something 4 other people failed to do. He worked on our basement drywall after we had a flood. He replaced the bottom half of what was cut out, put in trim, and painted. He also built us a wall split up the giant space. It all turned out really well and I couldn't be more happy with it. My only complaint, but not enough to lower my stars, was that due to our basement set up, all the spackling sanding ended up on our first floor (there's no door down to the basement). It was everywhere. If you'll have this same issue, I'd recommend putting up some sort of plastic barrier. If you need drywall repair, give Michael a call! He also accepts Venmo, which was a plus for us.

They did a fantastic job at a price that will beat any competitor! I highly recommend Mike and John for any job that requires a competent, experienced contractor!

I posted this on Google as well (and went much more in detail), but would like to share my personal…read moreexperience of a renovation from Mendr. Starting on day 1, a subcontracted demo crew arrived along with Marcus from your team. They accidentally nicked a knob and tube wire along with 2 pipes. We did not know at the time, and noone from your team told us even though I have video proof they knew earlier that morning. We later found out when OUR plumber came to check on the pipes and noticed the mistakes and pointed it out to all workers present at that time. Knowing these pipes were nicked, they closed the floor anyway with the active leak inside. Following installation of the toilet and shower head, when I went to use the toilet, water came spewing through my ceiling downstairs- The team refused to acknowledge responsibility, initially stating it was the radiator regardless of my insisting. Upon locating the leak was actually in a drain pipe, they then said it was the subcontractors fault for nicking the pipe, completely ignoring the fact that if it wasn't enclosed under flooring, this would not have been an issue. Along with this issue, I had multiple concerns with professionalism and communication throughout. I was never told who would be coming on what day, and I encountered about 6 different workers in the time Mendr worked on my house. I was told Marcus would be my project lead, and he was only present the first 2 days. When we would relay a message to one worker, they would not relay it to the others, which lead to huge gaps in communication. We would ask for things to be done a certain way, and the team would ignore and do it the way "they always do it", even when resulting in poor installation of the sister beams, flooring, and cutting into my stack pipe for the exhaust fan. Your team did not put any tarps down unless we asked them to and even then, did not fix them when they would rip. There were multiple discussions regarding safety issues I caught on camera as well that your team still tries to pawn onto the subcontractors I didn't even know were coming. The absolute worst part about this team regardless of all the issues I encountered in my home is that your team still refuses to be held accountable, and does not seem sympathetic in the least for any of the damage caused in my home. I have photo and video proof as well as multiple other professionals who stated the work your team provided may as well be illegal with the lack of safety concern and poorly following ANY coding guidelines. Even with all of this, Kyle, you still try to deny claims and report the subcontractors did it- completely ignoring ANY of your teams responsibility in this matter. Do better, Do not rip people off if you can not handle the project. We deserve our down payment back, none of the work you performed was actually usable! You are only as professional as ALL of your employees and it has been made clear you do not send the same employees for all of your jobs.
