When I told him I was looking to save money by doing as much work as I could myself, he told me what would reduce costs (like removing carpet and as much furniture on my own as I could) and what splurges might not be worth it (matching laminate quarter-round and replacing my trim - I could just re-paint it). After choosing this company for the job, Victor answered additional questions and was very accommodating with scheduling the install. His brother and one other man came right on time yesterday to install. They were efficient (finished in about 5 hours and never took a break!), professional, and friendly. When finished, they asked to make sure things were cleaned up enough for us. They called Victor for me before leaving to ensure I was ok with the price of the job (which was right in line with the estimate given previously), and so I could ask him any questions. He showed up the next day to give a quote, sent me a quote a couple of days later, and then started the job two weeks from my initial inquiry. So the first part of this review is that he showed up in a timely manner, which was something 4 other people failed to do. He worked on our basement drywall after we had a flood. He replaced the bottom half of what was cut out, put in trim, and painted. He also built us a wall split up the giant space. It all turned out really well and I couldn't be more happy with it. My only complaint, but not enough to lower my stars, was that due to our basement set up, all the spackling sanding ended up on our first floor (there's no door down to the basement). It was everywhere. If you'll have this same issue, I'd recommend putting up some sort of plastic barrier. If you need drywall repair, give Michael a call!
