My tenant in Wilmington called me one afternoon to inform me that there was a leak originating from…read morethe upstairs bathroom that was perforating through the ceiling into the downstairs dining room. Initially, I called a few other plumbers in the area, but since it was a weekend, many of them told me that their next availability would be on Monday. Then I called Roto-Rooter. They were extremely responsive and they dispatched someone that very evening. The plumber was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and without hassle. I am highly pleased with the level of efficacy and service provided by Roto-Rooter.

I hired Roto-Rooter to clear a blocked sewer line. Instead, I sought a second opinion. The very next day, another licensed plumbing contractor used heavier-duty sewer equipment and mechanically cleared the same line in less than 10 minutes. The sewer then functioned normally for approximately one week until I chose to replace the line because of existing root intrusion--not because it was collapsed. Based on my experience, the diagnosis and recommendation I received from Roto-Rooter proved to be inaccurate. I paid for a sewer line clearing that was never accomplished, yet was immediately steered toward a costly replacement. Consumers should obtain a second opinion before authorizing expensive sewer replacement work based solely on an initial diagnosis.

This was not the week to be without A/C. Unfortunately My A/C was acting up all week and finally…read moredecided to stop working yesterday. At 8am this morning I called the company that installed my HVAC 4 years ago and they said they were scheduling service called 1.5 weeks out. It's 90+ and 90% humidity so that was a hard NO. I started calling companies listed on the York (manufacturer) website site. The first one said they maybe able to squeeze me in on Monday. Today's Friday, i was not looking forward to another 4 days of no a/c. Next on the site was Buckingham. I called and they picked right up, I explained my problem, she asked me a couple of questions and said they could squeeze me in between 1-3 this afternoon. Bingo!!! Jeremy showed up around 1:30 and went right to work. Within 5 minutes he identified the problem. He had the part on his truck and spent some time checking the system and found another issue that caused the 1st problem. He fixed that too. Even though I didn't buy the unit from them they honored the warranty and said they'd work it out with York. I only had to pay for the service call, which was half the price of the other 2 places, and what the warranty didn't cover. I am so happy with their service and professionalism. Jeremy was were so helpful and answered everyone of my endless questions. I now have their sticker on my HVAC and they will be my first/only call in the future. It's summer and it's hot. Everyone is super busy. Thank you Jeremy and Buckingham! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

Turned out the washer was fine but the drain was clogged all the way back to the laundry room. He referred me to their plumbing department that also works for the same company (Big Red). I paid $129 for the diagnosis which would go towards the price of fixing whatever problem there was. The plumber arrived quickly but apparently no one at his company gave him a heads up as to what was needed so he didn't have the necessary equipment on hand. He was great, he further diagnosed my drain problem and even though his boss wanted him to charge me an additional $129 he didn't do it, he referred me to a special drain company who I ended up using. So overall it was a positive experience but had some confusion. Mark the plumber was great.
