My boyfriend, friends, and I absolutely love Mr. Dumpling! Everyone I've ever introduced to this place loves it. I often get texts from friends and my boyfriend about our next visit haha! We joke that if we go enough we can meet Mr. Dumpling himself. They have a lovely selection of food, but my personal favorite is the eggplant in garlic sauce and their soups with dumplings. The soup broth is soo flavorful and healing. My boyfriend loves the mapo tofu with an extra side of rice and says it's the best he's had! This is such a lovely family and we love to support them. Tonight we took our family and some friends here for dinner. There was a total of 14 of us. As usual everything was spot on, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! It takes a little bit for the food to come out, but that's because everything is made fresh to order, and piping hot when it gets to you! Their Dumplings and Noodles are all Homemade, and very yummy! Their food has only gotten better since opening. My VERY FAVORITE dish is their Chinese Pickled Beef with Noodles. I'm not a huge beef person so I get it with barbecued pork. The first time I ordered it Andy tried to talk me out of it because he didn't think it would be as good...it was not only GOOD...IT WAS DELICIOUS; it's hard for me not to order it every time we are there! It's not hot spicy, but rather very flavorful. A matter of fact, the only complaint I have about my meal is that their dumplings in chili oil (appetizer) were not that spicy, though the dumplings were very tasty. The fried rice was super umami and was really improved by being served inside the pineapple in my opinion. The xiao long bao were served at the perfect temp and had a nice thick wrap to them.
