WOW! Am so pleased with Mr. Duct! Ricky arrived on time, was very professional and friendly, explained the process and got to work immediately. I purchased a small, older home which required many changes and upgrades ... but it was never suggested by any of the contractors that the ducts should be cleaned afterward to remove the debris. When he was finished (the whole process took a little less than two hours), Ricky showed me what was in the ducts. Yikes! Ricky had a big job here today ... but he was a pleasure to have in my home ... he was meticulous, and even replaced screws that were damaged on the vent! The air in my home has the most incredible CLEAN aroma .. and no dust! I highly recommend Mr. Duct ... and Ricky! read more

Initially, the quoting process was misleading. I requested a quote on duct cleaning and furnace cleaning and all subsequent e-mails after I agreed to the scope of work indicated there would be an up-charge for the furnace cleaning even though my quote had a line item for it. I had to repeatedly question it before someone higher up responded. The service itself was above average, so I give credit where it is due. My ducts needed a cleaning from 40+ years of build-up since the previous owners of my house had never had them cleaned. After work was completed and the team left, I did a walk-through of my vents and discovered one that was missing a screw and one of the return covers was reinstalled upside down. I contacted them about it and, in fairness, they offered to come back out and re-secure the one that was missing the screw. It wasn't a big deal, so I took care of that. However, some days later I was in my garage and found another vent they missed when I stepped on the grate cover for it. I contacted them about it as a heads up and never heard back. This year I ended up going with another vendor for my cleaning simply because they couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my e-mail. read more

Arrived on time. Very professional and took his time cleaning HVAC duct work. Very happy with the work. I would refer Mr Duct if asked.

Thank you Juan and Sergio. They are very hard workers. I like the fact that they take before and after pictures and send them right to your phone or email if you would like. I had no idea our ductwork was so nasty. And they found the missing magnetic alphabet letters that my 2 year old loves to put down the vents. That was a good laugh! They also cover their shoes with slip on covers before entering your home and remove them when exiting your house. Attention to detail in every aspect with their service. Completely respectful and professional. I highly recommend Mr Duct. read more

Overall very happy and would recommend Mr.Duct. I called a few companies and Mr.Duct was the only one that answered right away and gave me a quote which was cheaper than a competitor. I was pleased with how quick they could get me scheduled and the speedy/good service. I was thrown a little bc the bathroom vents were extra which I wish I knew on the original phone call but I didn't ask or look into it either. They were still cheaper than the other company with the bathrooms so it still worked out well. read more

I recently purchased a new home, only to find out a week after moving in that the gas furnace was not working. The outside temperature was 30 degrees, 50 inside, and my young son was sick with a cold. The owner of Mr. Duct was able to find a replacement unit and installed the next day. The young technician Cesar arrived at the scheduled time (11:00 a,m,) and stayed until 8:45 p.m. to make sure everything was working properly. He showed concern for my son and went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Excellent job! read more

Cannot recommend them enough. Prompt, efficient, courteous and very honest. No upselling. Shows before and after pictures. Very reasonable price. read more

We needed our duct work cleaned after major work done on our house. We called Mr Duct 630-725-1727 out of lisle Illinois. My husband and I are very pleased with the work done. The technician, Ulises was professional, friendly and very thorough. He showed us before and after pictures. The whole process took less than 3 hours. We highly recommend this company. read more

My dryer went out, it gave the codes for air flow. I called Mr. Duct, they responded right away, coming out the same day. Jason was the tech, very nice guy. Very happy with the service provided. Happy customer read more

Great job! If you are looking to have your ducts professionally cleaned, you want to give these guys a look. They have all of the equipment you want to see a company bring out to do the job right. The guys were professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I put off duct cleaning for years, because lady time I paid about twice as much to have some schmuck stock s hand held vacuum into my registers. Yikes. My only disappointment, is that they were unable to hook me up with a new filter for my electrostatic air cleaner. Understandable, since they are a Trane dealer. I will be calling again! read more

Service itself was ok but they moved my fooseball table which shouldn't have been moved due to leveling and in addition didn't put it back after they left. Now I have to hire someone to relevel professionally which will likely cost me $75-100. Not happy about that as you can imagine. I emailed Martha Thompson about this concern (since she sent an email after the service asking how everything went). It has been 10 days and she never responded to my email. Customer service is definitely lacking. read more

Disappointed. No video imaging as promised. Work took too long for a small house, (5hrs) because techs didn't work well together. One was doing most of the work. Price doubled. Estimate was not transparent. Services that are considered add ons never mentioned in over the phone estimate. Deceptive sales practice. Customer service not up to expectation in dealing with client dissatisfaction. Would not recommend. read more

Absolutely amazing service! I was extremely happy with tech that called when he was on the way, was on time for time scheduled, knowledgeable and provided a great cleaning. He cleaned up after himself, explained the entire process to me, which I greatly appreciated . Great service, efficient work, and very courteous. I'm pretty pleased with how smooth everything went and I would definitely recommend this company to others! What was done last year by another company and what was done today is great difference Mr. Duct, Inc....keep in touch and we will be in touch to ensure that we get you in touch with others thru reference Last but not least " You guys have passion for perfection " Bravo !!! way to go read more

The techs came exactly on time, communicated well (we didn't need the video since we have our own camera plus I know how dirty it was). They were careful and neat and used a high-powered industrial system that got everything clean, very fast. Cost was exactly what we were told over the phone. Very happy with them and would use them again (this is the second time we have used their services). read more

Fantastic service from start to finish!!! The technicians, Daniel and Sergio were p professional, courteous and did a fantastic job. I will definitely use this company again. read more

This company was just phenomenal. I contacted through email for information and received a prompt follow-up. Once I answered a few questions, I was given a very thorough quote with accompanying literature explaining everything. That, first off, told me that this was a reputable company. Plus, the quote was quite a bit lower than other companies I had researched. On the day of the appointment, 9/26/14, my appointment was scheduled between 3 and 5pm. I received a call from a very nice lady in the office asking if there was any was the technicians could come earlier since jobs were moving along. Are you kidding? Be done even earlier on my day off? YES!! Score! David and Ernesto arrived promptly at 1:30. They were super nice and respectful of everything in my home from the get-go. They explained everything they were doing and asked multiple times if I had questions about anything. They showed me pictures of before and after. They put up with me being in their way. They were even chatty! I always love a good conversation and they certainly put up with me. Niceness aside, what they found in my ducts was proof enough that having this service was the right thing to do. The piles of debris, spiders and even construction concrete was astounding, and they removed it all. They even wiped down all the vents before replacing them, and vacuumed the floors. When my husband arrived just as they finished up, they even recapped the job for him and asked him if he had any questions. I settled up with them for the exact same price they had quoted me, and promptly received a receipt for my check via email. I was so beyond pleased, that I couldn't stop thanking them, and the minute they were out the door, I turned to my husband and said, "they are SO getting a good review" ... and I almost never write reviews for anything! I am SO happy. I will never use another duct service. Mr. Duct are my guys!!! read more

This place was incredible, I had my air ducts cleaned. I purchased a foreclosed home, and the former owners had let the care slide a lot. They were smokers and had at least one pet, as evidenced by the hair in all the registers. I KNEW I had to get it cleaned out. I did a lot of shopping around, and I did find better prices, but this company uses better equipment and is a lot more thorough than the cheaper competition. I have had friends in this business in the past, so I knew more about the topic than most. They were able to get me set up for a cleaning the following day, dealt with an empty house without any trouble, locked up behind them, and left zero mess from their own equipment. They took detailed pictures of the process and the before/after shots were almost startling. They were worth every penny. This isn't a service you'll likely need often, don't cheap out on something that has an effect on your indoor health. I'm certainly glad I hired them! read more

Great customer service. My mother spoke with Taylor who was very patient and informative and friendly. Price was very reasonable.

I like to give a fantastic review for the service from the Lisle location I had this past Wednesday on February the 10th . I had both your HVAC guy come out in the morning as well as your air duct employees come out in the afternoon and Ben who was the HVAC tech was very helpful and then when he said that we need the air ducts get cleaned out that same afternoon two employees came to do the job. The Tech was Jason K. and his helper Renee and they did a fabulous job. Everything is working fantastic and I would definitely recommend this company to everyone I know. They were not only very polite they were also very informative as well as knowledgeable. When I asked questions, they gave me answers without hesitation. They did a fantastic clean-up job and I would give a five-star rating to these employees They seem to take pride in the job that they do. read more

Guys were fast, friendly and thorough! Explained the process and gave us pointers on how often to keep up with maintenance. We had our dryer vent cleaned out and recommended a yearly cleaning. Will definitely keep them in my contacts for future work! Thanks! read more

Should be able to rate ZERO stars. Was a very disappointing experience. Mr. Duct charged me $254 for service and 1.5 lbs of Freon, which supposed to have taken care of the AC for this season. Instead we had no relief from the 90 degrees heat wave over the labor day weekend. I called them back the next morning and emailed, expecting a courtesy follow-up by a tech since we already paid for a service we did not receive. Since they are local to my town expected that I guess. But I was informed that I would have to pay the $119 tech visit charge. Wish I could charge my consulting clients for just visiting their offices. Anyway, we have had used others for AC repair before and the experience has never been this disappointing and un-friendly. Had called Mr Duct as we could not get hold of the other two services we used before fast enough. Will definitely not recommend Mr Duct to anyone. read more

10/11/16 Mr. Duct! This company is named for exactly what they do. Their expertise and focus, benefits everyone. Need your ducts cleaned? Then call Mr. Duct! They thoroughly cleaned our dryer vent that hadn't been cleaned in 10 years. When you call, an actual living, competent and friendly person will answer the phone (in my case Brittany). Beware, some companies you call, are actually call centers who contract the work out to different companies. Then, surprise, surprise, a company you didn't call (or check-out) shows up. Extremely deceitful. When I called Mr. Duct, all my questions were answered and an appointment was set-up at my convenience. The price I was quoted, was the price I was charged. And, Mr. Duct didn't try to 'upsell' me, you know, buy this product or sign up for this service. I was called prior to their arrival. Two gentlemen showed up right at the appointed time. They were nicely dressed, very polite, extremely efficient and highly experienced. Big shout-out to Alfonso and Andy. You guys rock. In addition to doing a thorough job, Alfonso and Andy took the time to answer my many, many questions. The previous week, a different company came out (bait and switch) to clean my floor ducts. They did a careless job and I'll be calling Mr. Duct to come out and do the job correctly (I know they will). Thank you Mr. Duct. read more

They came to clean out my ducts last year and they were pleasant, efficient workers who left my home the way they had found it. Their fixed pricing also means you aren't going to be surprised when they show up. The price they quoted was the price I paid. They did a great job. read more

Mr Duct serviced my home today. I am livid. Though the two workers were nice and polite. The service was incredibly half a**** and sloppy. I called the manager to get a discount since the work was not complete. He said no and within seconds emailed me the invoice. The workers were leaving, yet had left my backyard door open the garage door open and did not take my payment. I had to go after them in the street. Right before they pulled off. To take the $295 over priced undeserved payment. Be warned be ready to do cleaning after they leave. If anyone is foolish enough to hire this company. Also take note I give half of the one star. read more

Got everything straightened out, took a few filter changes as they said and the dust subsided. Referred them to my brother in law in Geneva and they were pleased. read more

They did show up on time but then everything went downhill. Everytime they came back inside they tracked mud in the house which you could clearly see at each vent. They cut 2 holes in my return, which I was told they would seal with a special tape when done. I asked the lead tech about before they left and was told they don't do that. They chipped the paint on my newly painted wall and scratched another wall next to the door. No image video as I was told. I called and they sent another crew out to fix the F ups the first crew created. I watched them patch the hole in my return and they said the 2 F ups didn't even try to patch the other hole. When the 2nd crew, which were very professional left, they said they would report what they saw. Three days later I have yet to hear from any type of management. read more

My husband and I have recently taken over my mother's home. The vents have not been inspected nor cleaned since the early 90's. To say the system was filthy is an understatement. We thought we would wait to have it cleaned until after our home was completely remodeled. However, being a neat freak with black furniture, I could not stand the dust build-up any longer. I was about the rip my hair out. I researched a few places posted on Angie's List and finally settled on Mr. Duct. The man (I believe his name was Tom) was very professional and thorough with explaining the process. He joked a lot but also seemed like he was not afraid to tactfully speak his mind to me. I respect when a service company is honest even if I don't want to hear it. The price quote was significantly cheaper than what other companies were planning to charge me. Our appointment time was honored. The two guys that came were early and went straight to work. They did not mind me hovering over them watching their work - I am annoying like that. They were very professional, quick yet thorough, and explanatory with what they were doing. They used a mini-camera to show my husband a before and after shot of the vents. It seemed like a whole different home after cleaning. I also have to replace my filters less and the dust is not easily apparent on our furniture until 1.5 weeks later. Even the dust layer that forms is just a tiny little layer compared to what we were dealing with before. As long as the prices stay fair, I will continue to provide my business to this company. read more

They got us a good deal including complimentary dryer vent cleaning. The guys were friendly and did a very good and thorough job. They even fixed the broken dryer pipe. We had our ducts cleaned. Natalie was polite and flexible to schedule an appointment on a short notice for weekend cleaning. I am not sure but I think the guy who came along with his partner was Jose'. They did a great job. He showed us the before and after pictures of the ducts and we certainly could see a huge difference. Also he partially closed some vents on our request were we don't need too much air (to save on electricity and get more air where required the most). After about 2 weeks of getting the ducts cleaned, we still have cleaner air in the house, also they didn't leave our place dirty. Took off one star because they came later than the arrival time window . read more

I had these guys clean the two furnaces at the house, to sum it up they did a wonderful job. There were two techs, one's name is Roberto and the other was Juan.
