I am writing this good review of Mr Drain because they immediately responded to my leaking water heater. The technician Trevor was very friendly, informative of the problem. Because I purchased the water heater from Home Depot and it was still under warranty, I selected the Home Depot contractors. They picked up a new WH and return the older one back to HD so I could get store credit. Had this not been the case, I would have used Mr Drain to do the job. Antonio & Mr. Drain were excellent. We contacted them for a clogged kitchen drain that we tried everything to unclog. They came out the same day. Rory came out to snake a slow drain. We thought it was just a hair buildup problem but it turned out to be hair and a major soap scum buildup, over decades of use. He did a great job explaining what he was seeing in the pipe and cleared out a good amount of the soap scum by hand with sheer muscle. He then offered to go under the house to make sure that there weren't any other issues with the shower drain line. He did that, and it all looked fine. So, very thorough work, very communicative, and I'll be hiring him again!! read more

Called to schedule was told about 99 bucks. Asked several times if that would be all. She did not inform me of any additional charges. The guy comes out looks at toilet for 30 sec.tells me it's 450 to unclog snake 75 feet. When I called them I asked for quote snaking 75 feet. He claimed had to remove toilet otherwise snake would damage pipes. Sounded shady to me . We did not have a sewer problem . Told him to go read more

They came out, and unfortunately, the shower faucet broke on the technician. They were able to get it fixed the same day. When they did not address an issue with the diverted, They came out the next day and fixed it without any additional charge. read more

Mr. Drain Plumbing was an incredible company to do business with. Grayson and Devin came out to my house within two hours of finding a ceiling leak in my house. They assessed my issue quickly and got straight to work. (Continued review). Technician was both personable and knowledgeable, probably a rare combination. Ed was both. I had never had a kitchen drain clog up, ever. So, this was a surprise to me. The service was more than expected and the price was really good. The drain is only partially cleared and the greasy sludge clog will very occur again unless we get a "hydroclean" job which Ed recommended. We will certainly consider it. We may see if there's a handyman available who can do the job but I'm not sure I want to go through the trouble to seeking that kind of help from a stranger. My garbage disposal got jammed up and I called around several local companies. No one could come out for somewhere from days to a week but Mr Drain sent someone out that same afternoon. And they actually sent out a Field Supervisor. Ben was able to diagnose the issue quickly and got the disposal back to working. We did end up having to replace the unit, but Ben was able to recommend us a great new one that will likely last longer than our house itself! Highly recommend this company! read more

Where do I start. Pros: they responded very quickly and came out same day. After that it all went downhill. I needed someone to look at my shower that was not able to go from hot to cold. They told me I would need to open up my Sheetrock and fix my entire valve that mixes my water. They quoted me $4,000. I had another team come out and they told me it was the cilinder. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix it in 20 minutes for only $285. DO NOT GO WITH MR. DRAIN. They are crooks and clearly do not know plumbing. They tried to rip me off and do work on my house that was completely unnecessary. read more

He also checked out our crawl space to help guide next plans. His boss Greg came out to scope out our pipes and helped us to make decisions. This business got the job done but they had to come back a couple of days later after I requested they actually finish the job by removing the entire length of my main sewer line that we had agreed upon before payment, which was to remove up to 25' of orangeburg pipe. They didn't communicate with me about only removing 22' of the old pipeline, instead I had to ask one of the technicians as they were about to bury the trench. When paying top dollar for a job to remove a 75 year old pipe, I expected them to communicate better and consider my input about leaving a section of the old pipe that required breaking part of a concrete sidewalk. I would not recommend this business as they are significantly expensive and didn't communicate well during construction. read more
