These guys are good! Seldom I see plumbing company this good. Derrick and Rory got the right attitude first off and very professional in every way. Got a clogged kitchen sink and Rory with his tool connected to a camera was awesome. I saw the cause of the clog and how it got repaired. They did an extra inspection free of charge of the pipes under my house and found more issues which needs to be taken care of soon or may cause major problems in the near future. I debated about posting this review but I think this happened to me so I could caution others. My toilet was clogged so I called Mr. Drain. I was told that I needed a new toilet and the sheetrock behind the toilet had mold. So for a new toilet, replacing a 4X3 piece of sheetrock, removing 3 tiles under the toilet all of which entailed about 8 hours of work cost me $6,500.00. So allowing about $200.00 for the toilet and maybe $150.00 for the sheetrock, that means they charge over $700.00 per hour for labor. And I had to pay for it before the work started. Please be careful if you use this plumber. read more

Mr. Drain, came out to service my underground rainwater drains, and could not complete the hydro high pressure clean out because they stated that there could be some fine tree roots that have cause some blockage. In two seperate locations of about two to three feet of root intrusion within my drain out to the front of my residence. So, they did not complete the task I paid them for ($1600) and wanted to charge me an additional $2,600 to clear the very short area of root removal, approximately 6 feet of new plastic drain hose. I declined their ridiculous offer to replace the affected area. I hired my gardener who did a fantastic job for only $400. They definitely have the right name for their company, because that's exactly what they will do, drain all the money out of your wallet. Very responsive company. Ben came quickly, reviewed the problem and gave and quoted a price. Trever and Jonathan arrived the next morning to clear the landscape drains on our property. The two of them had their work cut out for them because much of it required digging in river rock. Ben's estimate was 2 days work. Trever and Jonathan completed it in 1.5 days. They seem very nice and thorough. They said they discovered a bigger problem under the house. If it's true then I will likely use them to fix it but I'm going to hire a private home inspection company to go under the house to make sure I'm being told the truth. Sad that we have to go to such lengths these days but such is life. I'll update this review once I have the report from the home inspection company. There was one negative that concerned me about this company but I'll post it later. It is a very minor thing but a concern. I'll give them a 4 star for now but will update later UPDATE: upgrading my 4 stars to 5. Greg came out to give us a quote. Took the time to go under the house and assess the issue. I'm comfortable with what Greg said and that it is consistent with what his employee said earlier. Greg also provided us with photos of the area that needs attention and he addressed the minor issues that caused me to give a 4 star instead of 5. All in all Mr. Drain appears to be an honest company and Greg (the owner) cares deeply about the reputation of his company which means that he is going to take good care of his customers. read more

Deceptive pricing! Mr Drain gave me an estimate for $5,200 for approximately 48 man hours of work. The estimator said "I can guarantee that section of pipe is totally collapsed and needs to be replaced". The section was intact with no exterior damage. The final repair is okay. There is still an obstruction but the water does flow to drain. The final cost for an okay repair that was estimated to take 48 man hours took 14 man hours. I was still billed $5,200. That is more than $350 dollars per hour. Bumping this up from one star to two stars. The estimator was wrong on his estimate but the drain does work now. read more
