Our kitchen sink had backed up on both sides. We did troubleshooting with hot water and a sink enzyme drain cleaner to no avail. We went on Yelp to request service and Mr Drain responded immediately. This company is great. We had a problem with our water on a holiday (July 4th). We went to a parade, came back and no water! It was 100 degrees out and we have 2 little kids. I submitted a request on Yelp. Mr. Drain was the first to respond. Greg got to me house literally 20min later. There was an issue with a sticking valve (I will admit - it was a simple fix but I am not a handy person). My problem was fixed in less than 10min. Excellent Service today! Ed came out on an emergency call since we had water coming through our ceiling due to a washing machine issue. We were not sure if we had a washing machine problem or a clogged drain problem. Ed arrived, slipped on shoe protectors and quickly assessed the situation. Prompt same day, within a few hours. Had an issue where water backed up into our tub. The guy was here for over two hours and seemed to be doing a pretty thorough job - besides leaving the cap off to the line causing water to leak out into the street when I did laundry. However he really lost me when telling me I needed to get my entire sewer line replaced for $40,000 because i had tree roots growing into the line. The options ranged from $40,000 and the lowest was $12,000 (to lift up the toilet to temporarily clear the roots and clean out the line). I definitely felt as if they were trying to take advantage of me - knowing i would have to be taking out a LOAN to get this repaired. Guy was extremely pushy - nice - but really needs to learn to be more sympathetic and mindful after he just told someone they need to rip up half of their house for $40k to replace a line. Luckily I called up a family friend of a friend who has his own biz. He cleaned out the roots for $300 and said the line was fine, did not need to be replaced and was appalled there's a company out there giving these price quotes. Said in a year or two we'll have to likely repair a certain part for a whopping 1k. I'm glad this company seems to have great reviews and i'm sure are fine for the most part but I personally would absolutely never call them again or recommend them to anyone. read more

I've worked with this company on two separate occasions: one for a shower repair and the other for a sewer line replacement. The first instance involved an intoxicated and unstable employee that endangered the safety of everyone involved. The company upgraded the shower as an apology for the occurrence. During this upgrade, other issues happened such as poor communication, damages, and trash being left after the work was completed. My most recent experience also involved lack of communication which led to a lot of confusion. For the cost and extent of the work, I would have expected clearer communication. I sent multiple emails and called several times for updates, but never received a response until after the work was completed and they wanted to collect their payment. The company corrected the issues after they were brought up, but after two negative experiences with this company I would prefer working with others in the area whenever possible. read more

My downstairs toilet just started erupting on a Friday night and completely ruined my evening plans! Luckily I was able to call Mr Drain the next morning and Dallas came out and immediately started looking around my house to find the source of the back up. He was able to locate the main pipe to my home and unclog the blockage and restored order! He even used the pipe camera to show us where the clog was and the condition of the pipes.
