We needed to sweep our chimney. It wasn't cleaned for over 5 years. So we contacted a place who advertised for 99.00 dollars special. They sent a chimney sweep guy. He showed up an hour late. He had a flash light for checking the chimney. Without hesitation he said our chimney is very dirty it needs deep cleaning. And gave us an estimate for 300.00 dollars. I asked him what about that 99.00 dollars special? He said that doesn't apply on our chimney. We refused to go for that price. I think the name of the company is Green cleaning or something like that. Anyway we called another company from Palmdale which is Mrchimneyguy. His name is Jay Medina. He gave me a price for 149.00. I agreed and he showed up exactly on time with his coworker. They started cleaning the chimney when everything is done our chimney looks so great. By the way he also took out some wood, he mentioned that could be a fire hazard. He did clean from inside and outside. He did not charge me for extra works. What a great job he did. I mentioned to him about the other guy who told me the fireplace wall has some cracks. Jay checked everything and did not find any cracks.
