Thank you thank you Joe for sending Justin to service our heater. He went above and beyond expected. I called Joe because my heater wasn't blowing heat. Here in the AV, when it's cold, IT's COLD. I let Joe know that we had our AC replaced this summer and shame on me for not calling Joe to service the AC as well. I went with ECONO West from a referral of a friend. Worst experience with the exception to the main guys' subcontractor, Eddie, who was in the attic in 108° weather. Unfortunately, Joe speculated they probably didn't open the gas valve when they completed the work on my AC. Sure enough, it was exactly that but since my furnace is also in the attic, Justin had to move aside boxes that are stored up there to get to the gas valve to open it. In the process he offered to change my air filter and educated me on how often to change it and an easier way to do so. After the heater was up and running, Justin even returned all the storage boxes to their same spots. Appreciated Justin's professionalism and kindness. I suffered a summer with a broken air conditioner & a relative always having a friend of a friend to "fix" to no avail but Mr. Patterson came over not long after my message (messaged by 11:21am, he arrived by 12:37pm!) & fixed our air conditioning right up! While offered initially a flat rate which I think is great, but the repair turned out to be more expensive due to our own setup requiring such from wear and tear. Over Labor Day, spouse and I bought and installed a DIY mini split two years ago from Costco for an attached garage. Unfortunately, it was a lemon and threw error codes right from the beginning. After going back and forth with the company tech support over email and replacing various parts for the better part of a year -- because the DIY manufacturers don't have any service personnel to speak of -- we found over the summer that the unit wasn't able to blow air any colder than about 67 degrees -- a real problem because summer 2024 broke records, hitting 112-118F in July. After more troubleshooting, the company sent out an entirely new unit under warranty right before Labor Day 2024. However, by then my spouse was having some health problems and unable to install it -- so there it sat on our driveway covered by a tarp for three months (sorry, neighbors!). We needed help, but where? (Many HVAC companies, it turns out, won't touch anything they don't also sell to the customer directly.) Patterson Heating and Air was the best call I made. They came out and did a great job and for the first time in two years we have a properly running unit. In conclusion, Patterson Heating and Air came to our rescue when we were in a bind. I called around 2:30-3pm yesterday afternoon because my thermostat that supplied my bedrooms was acting squarlly and couldn't get the area cool and I have a pregnant cat in one of the rooms that we are sponsoring. UPDATE: Received a response from Patterson on May 5 in which he indicated that he was on vacation. After explaining that I had to hire a new company to come out to service my a/c and that they found the capacitor that Patterson installed in August of last year, Joe offered to refund what I paid last year. Met up with Joe yesterday and got a full refund for the capacitor and service visit last year- now that is some good customer service. read more

These guys are really awesome. They came to fix what should have been a simple heater fix but it turns out the previous owner did some crazy things to the heater and they had to replace many items. They also discovered a gas leak at the main which the gas company fixed. They were fast, efficient and kind. They only charged me cost for some items but now I am sitting in a house that is fully heated with a fixed fan in the attic providing wall heat to the whole house. I had the privilege of having this man at our home today. When he arrived he explain the process said there was an $89 service call if it was something simple he would apply that to the repair. I told him the previous guy who looked at it send the entire unit needed to been replaced, with that said he proceeded to hop on the roof only to come down 30 minutes later with a diagnosis that it was a simple repair and would be covered under the service call m! this is definitely the honest man you want on your roof truth be told we're not gonna get on the roof and look at it ourselves, he could've easily made this a pay day but he chose to be honest with integrity and do the right thing. My Ac wasn't working and after going through my home insurance I had an AC contractor tell me the Schrader Valve was bad and I needed about 10 lbs. of R22 Refrigerant. The total coast was well over $1,600. I called Patterson and he responded quickly. He identified the Schrader Valve was perfectly fine, and found the source of the leak in the attic. The first contractor would of replaced the Valve and I would of still had a leak. Patterson was quick on honest and saved me a lot of money. My ceiling started bubbling in 3 different places and in one of the bubbles it started dripping water. I yelped businesses and most of the AC repair businesses didn't have appts available starting Mon. I was able to get an appt with Patterson Heating & Air the next day (Sat which was going to be 106 degrees) with "Joe". His son Joseph was able to diagnose the problem. It was a pvc pipe that was suppose to be glued together. A contractor company who had installed my HVAC in 2019 did not glue the pvc pipes together and that's why the water and condensation was leaking into my ceiling. Called them on a Saturday afternoon because my air conditioner was blowing warm air on an 110 degree day here in the Antelope Valley. Within an hour the technician was at my house in a mask and diagnosed that the problem was the capacitor.
