Mario came to my house today, which is July 16. It was 101 at one point of this week and my compressor went out and they came over. Looked it over. Told me that I need a new compressor came over the next day installed it and now it works. Everybody in the house is happy and I'm out of the doghouse. I appreciate all the work that they did and they came really early, which I was very happy about if I ever have another problem with my air conditioner, which I hope I don't I will be calling them. I also asked about furnace work and he filled me in on some information about that too, which I was happy about. I don't know if the value I spent on them doing the work they did was overpriced or under price, but I really don't care just as long as it was fixed which they did fix it and I'm happy about so they get all five stars. read more

When our 35+ year old condenser failed this summer, we interviewed & got quotes from 5 HVAC companies. Most spent a lot of time with us either in person or on the phone. Preciado Air Conditioning was very highly rated, and we liked Andrew when he came out, saw the old system (the furnace/evaporator and ducts were original & 50+ years old). He was professional, friendly, courteous and laid out multiple options and prices for us to choose from, and provided a lot of valuable information to go along with out own research. Preciado Air Conditioning wasn't the least expensive, nor were they the most. Andrew and Mario and their crew completed the bulk of the installation in two days, with a couple minor hiccups which were thru no fault of their own, including running all new ducts and registers. Andrew was conscientious to keep us informed of the testing and approvals, and to make the required corrections. The new system works unbelievably great, cools the house quickly and is easy to control, plus the furnace-evaporator is so much smaller than the old system. Our thirty one year old AC unit died near the end of summer. Not wanting to wait until next year, I interviewed multiple HVAC contractors, one of which was Preciado Air. The first time we used Preciado Air through our Homeowners insurance was a year ago and they did a great job. We have an older unit so it was no surprise that it stopped working during the really hot days in Santa Clarita. This time the fan blower motor had to be replaced. Mario's response time and communication is outstanding. His team works very hard to get to every customer in a timely manner. This is the busiest time of the year but they were able to come by the same day to assess the issue. Then found the right part the next morning and installed in the afternoon the next day. I've called Juan for the first time regarding my central heater after I tried 2 other local companies here in Palmdale that had requested I replace the whole unit. I don't know much about heaters and AC but it didn't sound like I needed to replace the unit.
